    I visited this Salon for the first time on Thursday through a referral from my friend, Janelle, and met Renee. I had the best experience! Renee is the BEST! She colored and cut my hair and I love it! I finally found someone in Fl who knows what she is doing and is fabulous! I LOVE my new color and cut! Thank you Renee! I’ll be back in 5-6 weeks! Now I know why it’s called “Turning Heads Salon.’

    I was looking for a hair salon in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area and found this gem online. They have great reviews so I called them and got an appointment for the following day. I went in and met my stylist Nicole. She was so nice and friendly and very professional. She helped me figure out what my hair needed: the cut and the hair color that’s perfect for my complexion. The best part is she let me know how much it would cost before she did anything to my hair. Not all services do that. So I really appreciate it. Thank you Nicole and to the staff of Turning Heads on the Harbor Salon. I will definitely go back!

    Loved this salon! The owners and staff were meticulously sanitizing everything. Masks were worn by everyone. I had put off a hair appointment since Covid 19 due to concerns about cleanliness. So glad I found this salon. A true TREASURE!!❤️

    Ive lived in the area for two years now and have had my hair done at multiple salons in Punta Gorda and in Sarasota. Renee at Turning Heads gave me the best cut and color Ive had in a very long time. She did an outstanding job. The staff was very friendly AND they were able to get me in for haircut and all over lowlight/highlight on the day I called! Great salon and Stylist!

    I have been to a ton of salons and this one was great! They did an amazing job and all the staff were fantastic! They make you feel like youve known them for years right when you walk in. I learned something new about my hair too. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to go to get your hair done from a great experienced stylist!

    My Stylist was beyond amazing!🎉 ( I totally forgot her name, I think it was Anna ). I was here visiting my aunt and needed a haircut and color. They were all so experienced and I appreciated how knowledgeable she was with my hair texture. 5 Stars all the way!

    Kim D did an excellent job on my color/foil today. Very knowledgeable about colors it turned out great. Coloring three clients in the same appointment window, not so great! After she washed my hair, I sat off to the side with a towel on top of my wet hair for 15 minutes while she started foils on client #3. She did apologize for being overbooked, which was nice. I did not agree that a bang trim and dusting my ends constitutes as a full haircut. “Anytime a scissors touches the hair, it’s a haircut”. Is what I was told. Good to know! Like I said excellent job on the color. Likely won’t be back.

    I called for the first time last week and got a same day appointment with Nicole. She helped me decide on a new hairstyle and color that is perfect for me. I LOVE IT! She listened to what I was thinking and put in a few ideas of her own and we came out with an awesome hairstyle and color that I love. Ive gotten so many compliments on my new look.I then took my preteen daughter and 9 year old son to Nicole the next weekend. Nicole taught my daughter how to take care of her very thick long hair and explained why it was the way it was and how to take care of it properly. Nicole was patient enthusiastic and just...AWESOME. She cut my sons hair as well and listened to what he wanted, double checked with me first and then cut his hair. She was very conscious of double checking with me on everything she did before she did it.The atmosphere of the salon is fabulous and made me feel like I was welcomed and a friend versus a customer. You can have anything you want done there from nails to massage to waxing and haircuts for the entire family.Make sure you ask for Nicole when you make your hair appointments.

    I asked for a same day hair cut and I was lucky enough that they were able to oblige me. I had never been to this salon before. I went into Kim D.s chair with long, poorly styled hair with split ends and came out of it 35 minutes later with a beautiful haircut. Kim D. was efficient but VERY good. I have found my new favorite hair stylist!Everyone was very kind, seems like a nice place to work/be. Highly recommend. Will return for my next haircut!

    I’ve had multiple massages and stretching sessions from Ron Anderson. He is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He follows up with me to make sure I am following his at home stretching instructions. I continue to see him weekly. I definitely recommend him 100%. Thank you Ron!!!

    Boy did I luck out! I am one of those annoying snowbirds. Since 2015 I had gone to a few hairstylists/colorists and had never found one that I would truly recommend. A friend of mine told me about the Turning Heads establishment, so I took a chance and booked an appointment. The reason why I lucked out was because, I swear, I Believe that I was booked with the best in the place. I have been getting my hair colored and cut in Ohio by the same stylist/colorist for many years and Kim D (probably shouldn’t mention her name because by next winter she might become so in demand I won’t be able to get an appointment. Ha ha) far surpassed my expectations. She does a wonderful haircut, style, and color. I am headed back home next week and I hope my hairdresser Will take heed of the way my hair is cut and colored, although I’m not so sure she will be able to replicate it. Kim D…you are awesome!

    JOEY!! Amazing color skills!!!I’ve been seeing Joey for about a year, my hair has never looked better! Each time I think my hair looks the best ever and then the next time, he exceeds the level again. He listens and gets to know you, and truly enhances your looks.He has taught me how to make my color last longer, how to style with new techniques, and what products I need and don’t need.     I had a massage with Sue. She did a great job. She asked me what type of massage I wanted. She took my medical issue into consideration and we decided which one was best. She is very experienced in her field. I would recommend her to anyone that wants or needs a massage. The entire staff was great. Very friendly atmosphere.

    Joey worked his magic on my hair. He turned my brassy, orange mess of hair into a beautiful silvery color. My natural hair color, only better! Joey is an artist; skilled, experienced and talented at his craft. The salon is beautiful and the owner takes time to visit and get to know the customers and make sure all is running smoothly. I simply cannot rave enough about Joey and my experience at this salon!

    We moved to Florida 3 months and I was not looking forward to finding a new salon. I decided to try Turning Heads with stylist Nicole “Cole”.I could have not been more pleased with her skills, Professionalism and how she listened to my concerns. My hair is color resistant, curly and the color had turned brassy. Cole corrected the color , put in perfect highlights and gave me an awesome cut. I highly recommend Cole !!

    My first snowbird winter in SWF and I won the jackpot when I found Sara! Not only did she give me an awesome cut, but helped me understand how to care for my hair down here.     Never been here before today and I dont think Ill be able to go anywhere else! My hairstylist Sara was fantastic; skilled, knowledgeable, and personalable. She gave me amazing tips on how to style not only my (incredibly done) new haircut but my unmanageable curly hair as well. Both her and the receptionist (whose name I cant remember, Im so sorry) were very nice and understanding when there was a payment mixup with my mom. They let us pay $20 instead of $50 after a small misunderstanding, which was VERY kind and I will respect them forever for that, especially since Im somewhat poor. I will, without a doubt, be coming back again when I can pay full price because these ladies made an outstanding first impression. Cant wait to see you all again (with full payment in hand)!

    Nicole Vela is Amazing!!!Im so happy that I went to this salon. I went to a previous salon just a few days ago and I left with my hair a mess. My cut was all wrong. My hair was supposed to be brown but it came out orange. I was so upset and crying. My husband was trying to find a different place to help me cause like I said I was so upset. We found Turning heads on the Harbor Salon and they felt my pain over the phone (lol) and told me to come right in. Thats when I met my hair angel Nicole Vela. She is so caring and very sweet! She fixed me all up. Gave me this beautiful hair cut and fixed my color and brought bounce and life back into my hair. I cant stop smiling and playing with my hair. Im so thankful that I found her and this place. The owner is very sweet and caring as well. Its a clean and happy place to be. Im so so so happy with Nicole Vela work.     My mom was having her hair colored today and she asked me if I wanted a cut. Of course I wanted to! So, Mandy Hankinson took me to her chair and shampooed and conditioned my hair...which by the way, felt fantastic! She trimmed an inch off my ends, gave me bangs and brought the life back to my hair! I usually only have Amanda cut my hair, so I was unsure about having someone else touch my hair, but I was SO happy to have Mandy cut my hair today because she made my hair look and feel amazing!!! I LOVE LOVE LOOOVE my hair now! Thank you so so much Mandy, I will definitely be having you cut my hair now! Also, you are so sweet, kind and really made me feel like a queen in your chair.

    Great salon! If you wear your hair short, Kim is the stylist for you!! Been going to her for about a year now. Every cut and style is perfect. Have received many compliments on my hair.     I went to Nicole when my hair was so damaged from dying it at home myself. She brought my hair back to life and made it beautiful!     Booked an online appt for highlights and cut with Joey. Arrived early and the very sweet receptionist let him know and Joey greeted me and took me to his station early. I had wanted an hombre style color but 1. I had booked a highlight so please be sure to book the right thing online and 2. Joey told me up front it would be $300.00 . Thank goodness he told me as I did not want to spend that much. Left with a trim and blowout for a reasonable $45 . All that aside I have to say Joey could not have been any nicer, what a kind and caring guy. He gave me advice and ideas for future appts that were more in my price range plus his cellphone number so that I could send ideas and pics I saw that I liked !! Who does that !? Excellent customer service from all and I would recommend Joey for anyone.
