If youre in need of getting your hair done, go to Nouvo Salons. They really work with you on getting the style you want in a consultation before you get your hair done with a booked appointment. Rachel did a wonderful job getting my hair back to a healthy style fit for me. Nuovo Salons really take their time into their work they do for the services they give you. It may take a couple of hours longer depending on the length of your hair, and depending on if you get color added or not so be prepared to relax and stay awhile to be pampered when you go.

Isabella is the absolute best. I’m super picky with my hair. I had the same hairdresser for 16 years and she left her career so I was really nervous. I don’t trust a lot of people, but she listened to me and did exactly what I asked her to do. it was an amazing experience! And my hair looks fabulous. I will definitely be back many times.❤️

Just had the best shaping hair cut of my life in years! Lauren at the Landings is a true artist! She knew exactly what to do with my hair and how I like it. Maybe it’s her Midwest connection and what I’m used to in what a hair cut shaping should look like, I don’t know. All I can say, is she did a fabulous reshaping cut on my hair and I feel beautiful again!

First, I love the haircut. TERRY IS THE BEST. No waiting if you have an appointment, also a nice choice of spa refreshments. From the shampoo massage to the final tweak, its a good experience. I left feeling lighter, liking the way I looked, and my husband, who was waiting outside, liked it too. He looked at me admiringly and said, WOW, you look 10 years younger! I looked the way I felt. While on vacation I needed some hair love and I only use Aveda. Found this location and was able to get in within a couple days. I believe my stylists name was (Salem?) and she, along with everyone else I encountered there, was very friendly and she cut my hair great! I’m tough on stylists and for a first visit, she nailed it! I was also very impressed with this salons pricing compared to the Aveda salons in Denver…far more reasonable!

LeeAnn is an experienced, well trained and talented stylist and artist. She listened and created a style that I love. High level skills and an artistic eye, she is a delight. I finally found someone I feel I can trust to always do a perfect cut. And the scalp massage was amazing!!!The salon is nice & clean. My mom recently moved to Sarasota and found Emily at Nuovo Salons. Now that Ive been in town to visit, she booked me for a much needed cut and style and she booked me with Emily. I have long hair and must say Emily knew exactly what she was doing. She got the dead stuff cleared up while also respecting the length and making sure everything was even. She left my hair literally looking like a hair commercial. Emily is very sweet, confident and approachable. She makes you feel very comfortable and cared for. Great job! Couldnt recommend her more!Perhaps, the reception could be a little a nicer when we walk in the door though. The salon has all this wonderful tea and/or coffee to enjoy while you wait for your appointment... nobody helped us with that or directed us to go ahead and have a seat to wait. It wasnt really until Emily came out that we felt genuinely welcome and attended to...

She listened to exactly what I wanted and I’m very picky with my hair and with my haircut I told her a little trim and she did. My length is still how I want it and as far as the color exactly how I wanted it. She was awesome!! I will recommend her to anyone. She’s so nice and it was a great experience!

Liz does consistently excellent work and is a delightful person. Terrys work is also spot on. He listens to what I have to say about my last cut, what I want for the next cut and always has ideas when I want a change. I cant imagine going anywhere else.

Nuovo is an excellent salon. I have multiple friends and family members who have been going there for years, as well as myself. Liz does my color and Terry does my cut, and they are both top notch, as professionals and as people. It feels like family. If I have ever had difficulty getting an appointment, I have seen other stylist in the salon when needed and they have been great as well. I don’t think they tolerate mediocre there at any time !

My highlighted hair was over processed and badly damaged. After research I chose Leann at The Landings, who is highly recommended for her color skill. I met with her in advance to discuss my options. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The next week I spent an afternoon with Leann as she magically transformed my hair into healthy looking and beautifully highlighted tresses! She is amazing!

I moved away from Sarasota but needed to find a salon for when I am visiting, and Nuovo hit every mark.The salon itself is clean and calming, and the staff is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I got balayage, gloss treatment and a haircut from Violet, who was absolutely wonderful. She was super sweet and nice and I am extremely happy with my hair. She followed through with my vision perfectly for the coloring and the haircut is perfect. Violet - and Nuovo - rock! Highly recommend.

Anna Marie is just fantastic. I currently live in South Carolina, but come back to Florida a few times a year to visit family. I’ve had bad experiences with stylists before who trim a little too much, or take liberties with my hair. However, she does exactly what I ask of her, nothing more, nothing less. Needless to say I had to take the chance and use someone without any recommendation other then the Internet and the receptionist whom I explained my hair texture to and what I was looking to have done etc. He recommended Sam!!!!! She was amazing, she listened, cared, suggested and most importantly DELIVERED! I am beyond so happy with this salon!I came to town for vacation and before I came I got my hair done to remove some pink color and after 6 hours in the chair the hairdresser turned my hair blotchy orange/yellow and charged me $180.The next day my hair was an even brighter yellow and it looked horrible. I was absolutely devastated because I’ve always taken such good care of my hair.I desperately reached out to salons in the area and Nuovo had such a kind staff when I called I decided to book with them.I ended being worked on by Demitra and she did an incredible job. She took time and searched out all the parts of my hair that were discolored and made sure to even out the color and get the yellow out. It only took 2 hours and my hair looks better than I could’ve asked. I highly recommend her.The rest of the staff was also wonderful. A nice lady came over and helped Demitra brush out my hair because I have so much and it take awhile. Scott was beside us working on someone and he was extremely nice and he did a wonderful job on his clients hair.I’m looking to move into the Sarasota area and I’ll definitely make sure to keep coming to this salon!

Three in my family go there, and for good reason! It is a fabulous salon. Terry is amazing, and Liz works wonders with color. Over many years, if one was not available, Ive been taken care of by others at the salon, with the same wonderful warm attitude and professional demeanor. Staff trained to make your experience pleasant from time of your arrival.Tom is fabulous also with nails and pedicure! They are so kind to my 88 year old mother, and treat us like family. If you are not pleased (rare!) they immediately fit you in and do what it takes to get you the results you wanted. They are also cutting edge, up to date, always innovating! I began going to the Nuovo Fresh Talent Salon at the Southgate Mall some years ago. My sister gave me a $30 gift card she had gotten, to use towards a cut and style. I made the appointment not knowing who I would be getting the hair cut from, I didnt care at that time because I just needed something new and my previous stylist had moved out of the area and the two references she had given me at her previous salon had both failed me. Well, lucky me!!! My appointment was with Samantha Kelly. All I really need to say is, I have been going to see her ever since. Shortly after I began getting cuts and color done by Sam, she was promptly and rightly moved to the Nuovo Salon and Spa at the Landings. I have of course followed her there and will continue to do so. She is so professional and does an amazing job with my hair. She listens and truly has patience, which is a virtue when it comes to cutting hair because we all are typically very picky about our manes :o). My last cut and style was incredible, I get compliments from my coworkers still and it has been over 3 months! She is amazing.

Her perfectionistic skill and rare artistry in highlights, color and cuts are unparalleled (no exaggeration--I used to go to one of the best salons in Manhattan). For over 2 decades, she has capably adapted to my changing hair, patiently providing extremely fine highlights and lowlights that make my hair look naturally gorgeous and defy my age. She always creates exactly what I hope for because she is consistently exacting in her work, a gifted artist, and she cares about doing the absolute best for her customers. Nuovo is extremely lucky to have her all these years, as am I!!

Leigh Ann ROCKS! I have dreadlocks and me and my mom have been bleaching them for the last few years. They were very uneven. Wanting something new I called to get pink. Went in for a free consultation. Leigh Ann told me exactly what to expect. It was a few proceedures and took quite some time. Well my hair came out perfect! Shes a perfectionest and really care how everything comes out. (If you have dreads you know thats pretty hard to do!) Its not like normal hair. Once I was on a very long cruise and wanted to get it done on board and those internationally trained stylists wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot pole. That made me a little scared that I wouldt ever find someboby. So I am very glad to have found Leigh Ann. I would highly reccommend her for any kind of challanging or freaky hair do! We are already discussing do an Hombre color next! She def aint skeered! Love ya Leigh Ann and thanx for taking me on!!
