What an incredible place!! Amazing shops, food and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We didn’t want to leave! Many businesses were affected by the hurricanes and still closed, so sad. Hopefully they can rebound. We want to plan another trip and stay in this area, it’s gorgeous and so fun!

  • Review 2 (2024-07-06 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful park! We were here hurrying the off season. I would recommend it during this time. It was a holiday weekend so it was pretty busy from what we are use to and all the shop owners said it was slow. The circus walk of fame was super cool. Looks like all have a QR code so you can read more about each person. Love the history mixed with higher technology access. Park was super clean. Definitely a place to visit when you are done shopping or just need a break from the heat. Enjoy the artwork.

  • Review 6 (2024-03-12 - Rating: 4)

The circles are cool place to walk, especially at night, we were there before Christmas, so they had a large Christmas tree. There’s some statues in the park itself. The outside of the circle is full of shops and restaurants and bars. Nice place to explore, expect to pay top dollar for most things.mostly paid street parking in the area. We walked from our hotel, otherwise I think parking can be challenging, especially during peak times.

  • Review 7 (2024-11-10 - Rating: 4)

Great location. Fun vibe. Lots of great little shops. Lido Beach is very close by and beautiful. No shortage of great places to stop and have a drink. We also attended in the fall during a huge art show. Recommend as a great location to spend the day on the west coast

  • Review 8 (2024-03-27 - Rating: 5)

Lovely area, great, interesting shops, lots of restaurant choices and plenty of benches if you need a rest. Parking garage was very close. It was inexpensive (as parking garages go). We had a great time and will return when we are in the Tampa area again. The stuffed fox in the photos was given to us by our granddaughter. He travels with us and we take him on adventures.

  • Review 9 (2024-06-24 - Rating: 5)

Six of us spent two hours at Cigar Paradise. Two enjoyed cigars, the rest wine, iced coffee, and cappuccino. The spotlessly clean, modern shop is run by Kody who was pleasant to chat with. A nice place to sit and relax

  • Review 10 (2023-10-20 - Rating: 5)

So many fun and cool stores you can go into! Lots of little places for you to stop and eat and even have a drink..and its very scenic: you can take lots of pictures! Very cute place to walk around! Water bowls were out at multiple stores for dogs which I thought was really cool too! Cute little trolley drives around and you can also rent Vespas to ride on

  • Review 11 (2024-12-17 - Rating: 5)

What a great place to stroll around. Grab some great food and a cocktail. Enjoy the nice winter weather and maybe do some shopping. Remember the beach is walking distance so dont forget to bring or wear your swimsuits!! Some of Sarasotas best!!

  • Review 12 (2024-12-23 - Rating: 4)

I LOVE this place. I have been coming here since I was young. This is the first time in 3 years that I made the trip as it is a solid 2 hour drive. Pros: We had an amazing lunch at the Columbian. The service and food were excellent. We also had a wonderful Turkish coffee and Baklava at a small shop. The people were all nice and friendly. Cons: Only 1 sad thing... the hurricane did major damage. There was at least shoulder height water in all the stores. Maybe 80% of the shops were closed. Only about 3/4 of the closed shops were under renovations. I live very near Ft. Myers beach and to see this type of destruction again was heartbreaking. Many stores just will not be recovering. Even though there are not many stores open, please make an effort to go as the remaining shops need the money. If you are able to look past the damage, you will get a glimpse of a part of historical Florida. I look forward to returning next year to see the progress.

  • Review 13 (2025-01-06 - Rating: 5)

The Circle is quaint and not far from Lido Beach. Parking is limited and traffic is slow so dont be in a rush.

  • Review 14 (2024-05-23 - Rating: 5)

If you want to take a simple walk, browse the stores, or have a bite to eat you can find it at St. Armands. There are so many different and beautiful statues all around the circle you can find, read about them and snap a pic.

  • Review 15 (2024-02-23 - Rating: 5)

St. Armands Circle is a nice park in Sarasota that is surrounded by shopping and restaurants. If youre looking for a commercial shopping area in Sarasota, you will find plenty of options here short of going to an outlet mall. The park in the middle of the circle is beautiful with plenty of history on The Ringling Brothers Circus, which is a good portion of Sarasotas history. If youre in Sarasota and like to shop and eat, check out this place.

  • Review 16 (2024-11-25 - Rating: 5)

Excellent place for shopping and food. Walk ability is great but depending on what time of the year you visit, parking can be difficult. They are slowing recovering now due to the recent hurricanes. Columbia restaurant is very good and Venezia Pizza is also delicious.

  • Review 17 (2024-12-02 - Rating: 5)

I love this place as everything you need to have a wonderful day is within walking distance. During your walk you will notice there are no two stores alike. Even after the latest hurricane that took a toll on the circle its still a nice place to visit as they are quickly rebuilding.

  • Review 18 (2024-02-07 - Rating: 5)

A must visit when In Sarasota! Great selection of local brands as well as exclusive upscale New York and New England brands seldomly seen outside region. Excellent selection of restaurants as well which are inline with tastes of Stores. In addition to outpost Columbia Restaurant which is old school Spanish Cuban dining at its finest.

  • Review 19 (2023-08-10 - Rating: 5)

Lots of shopping to be had here. Our hotel shuttle stopped here at the circle throughout the day so we came frequently on our trip. So many good gelato shops (Settimi’s was our favorite) but I wish I would have stopped to just take in the plaques or artwork throughout the circle more. Crab & Fin had the best seafood we ate in Sarasota.

  • Review 20 (2024-03-01 - Rating: 5)

Such a neat circle with tons of food options and shops. Went during an art festival, which was special to see a lot of local artists! To be a small area, it definitely had a good variety of options to eat and shop. Bonus points for the sculptures all around!

  • Review 21 (2025-01-07 - Rating: 5)

After the two hurricanes back-to-back in the year of 2024. They destroyed a lot of stores. But this is January of 2025 and a lot have already been built back and to Perfection it was beautiful during Christmas. They had an extra large tree downtown and the beauty was never ending. My favorite part was Jesuss Manger.🙏

  • Review 22 (2023-07-10 - Rating: 4)

Definitely a fun place to go! Kind of touristy. Do not lose track of your parking time! The meter maids are relentless! Definitely use the app and make sure you get push notifications. Lots of options for meals and shopping. Cute little beach access. I will definitely be going back here to explore some more!

  • Review 23 (2024-12-16 - Rating: 5)

Fun little shopping area close to the beach with good places to drink and eat at. Recent Hurricane made a few businesses shut down but the area is otherwise mostly open. Parking is free for a limited time

  • Review 24 (2024-03-02 - Rating: 5)

Our favorite place to be. Walker friendly lots of restaurants. The beach is a short walk away. You can catch the Bay Runner to historic downtown or the beach.

  • Review 25 (2022-12-13 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful area for couples, families, or friends. Parking is kind of a nightmare, but worth the hassle. Several shops and bars in the area. I loved the holiday decor and the giant movie screen. When I was there the Santa Clause was playing.

  • Review 26 (2023-02-10 - Rating: 5)

Always a beautiful area to walk around. I often stop here in between customers when I’m down this way to take a quick stretch break and window shop. There are a few “touristy”’spots but for the most part it’s high end stores, nice(r) restaurants and a few ice cream/sweet spots. They have a daiquiri bar/restaurant and one other “local” spot that’s affordable for a sit down meal — also a pizza place. I recently noticed an arcade has opened too. Starbucks on location for your coffee fix.The actual circle itself holds a beautiful park with some great tributes and plaques for various things. Fun to walk around and read about some history to the area. There’s also a bunch of statues to take a peek at. There use to be more cypress trees in the main park but storms recently have taken them out. Lots of benches though for relaxing.Looks like the local trolley does a few pitstops here. Parking is semi limited unless you don’t mind walking. Reasonably priced. Recommend downloading the PARKMOBILE app to make your life easier.

  • Review 27 (2024-04-19 - Rating: 5)

We are repeat visitors to Sarasota and often enjoy the upscale shopping (and window shopping) in St. Armands Circle. Many unique boutique shops to find casual and fancy clothing, art, travel trinkets, and upscale gift items. Some unique places to purchase treats like ice cream, candy, and specialty desserts. Assorted restaurants with reasonable prices and savory flavors. Recommend making reservations in advance for places like The Columbia or other popular sit-down eateries. Free shaded parking ramp off the main traffic circle, and paid on-street parking on every block. Neighborhood is well maintained. Just walking through the area is pleasant, with flowers and greenery adorning almost every shop front. A delightful experience!

  • Review 28 (2024-05-06 - Rating: 5)

Our favorite place to walk around and shop! Restaurants are pretty good as well with different varieties. I especially like the Lily Pulitzer store.

  • Review 29 (2024-06-06 - Rating: 5)

Multiple businesses cover the circle and flank the four quadrants. The walk around this vibrant and happening place gives a great vibe. The Colombian restaurant is on this Circle.

  • Review 30 (2023-11-21 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 31 (2024-12-25 - Rating: 4)

Beautiful spot. Unfortunately, several stores are still closed and rebuilding from the hurricane that hit. Crab and fin for dinner was fantastic. 3rd day being reopened. Top notch. Go check it out.

The best of Florida living. Great shopping, restaurants, people watching and us one of the reasons we love to live in Florida. Come explore for yourself.

  • Review 33 (2021-12-08 - Rating: 5)

Great vibes, plenty of amazing restaurants, shops and gift shops. Always busy and with the reason! It’s really nice to walk around St Armands Circle area as there is always something that may attract you and make you spend some extra time around. And Lido beach is just down the street. Definitely one of the most popular and busiest places in Sarasota. 🌈🍀

The staff at all of the establishments are extremely helpful and accommodating. Theres free 3 hour parking around the circle. Theres no parking structure. The entire area is handicapped accessible. The grounds are meticulously maintained and beautiful.

St Armands Circle has a great atmosphere. There are plenty of local shops and boutiques to choose from. Not to mention, an AMAZING selection of yummy restaurants to choose from. I personally like the blue dolphin for breakfast. Great location for photographers also because there’s a lot of pretty walls, backgrounds and flowers. I also like to run here in the mornings. It’s quiet and peaceful. Check this place out if you are in Sarasota!!!

Had an early dinner at the Columbia Restaurant. Was a great experience. This is very much a tourist area. A bit on the crowded side. Parking can be a challenge but worth the effort. Tons of stores and shops selling just about anything you want. I would definitely go back again.

  • Review 48 (2023-09-19 - Rating: 5)

We were unable to spend as much time as we liked as we were on a time crunch. But as always, we had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the circles beauty, the small talk with strangers, and found a few new places that we will be going back visit. Added bonus was coming across a top-notch classic pictured below.

  • Review 49 (2024-07-15 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 50 (2024-07-29 - Rating: 4)

St. Armands circle, is a delightful blend of upscale shopping, dining, and lots of multi cultural experiences set in a beautifully landscaped, and kind of a Mediterranean-inspired area. This circle features a diverse array of boutique shops, some art galleries, both painting and glass sculptures, as well as restaurants offering multi cultural cuisines, in my opinion, making it a great destination for both leisurely strolls and special evenings out. The Circles year-round events and its proximity to the beach add to its charm, making it a must-visit for anyone in the area looking for a unique and enjoyable outing, or some time to kill getting ice cream while walking around enjoying the scenery

  • Review 51 (2024-08-25 - Rating: 5)

Awesome arcade. Excellent place to spend a few hours. Pinball machines, skee ball and all kinds of other video games. 20 bucks gets you in door for as long as you like. They also have a bar

Love the huge circle of shops. Plenty to eat and drink. All the crafty and cute stuff, souvenirs, touristy stuff, but also a few really nice ones with really nice owners. Local buisness district on longboat key is amazing.

  • Review 54 (2023-10-30 - Rating: 5)

A lovely place to walk around, to shop, to meet friends for a coffee, to eat the best waffles ever and you can check out the beach which is very close! 😃

  • Review 55 (2024-08-27 - Rating: 4)

Lots of great boutiques with unique items. Most shops are welcoming and not at all snobby. We have had different experiences each time we’ve visited. The first time we had bags and bags of purchases. The second time, we didn’t buy anything but enjoyed looking around. Cha Cha coconuts is a fun lunch spot! Try the 1/2 Tony’s salad with a 1/2 Cuban sandwich! You won’t be sorry! The mini donut shop is also yummy for a treat and a cold bottled water to fuel your shopping adventure.

  • Review 56 (2025-01-16 - Rating: 5)

The stores and people are coming back in. I have to go give the store owners at Saint Armands a lot of credit they’ve done a great job reopening

  • Review 57 (2024-08-01 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful scenery and many shopping choices to choose from as well at restaurants! All of the stores we went to had the friendliest employees! The only downside was that we went on Sunday and there were some shops which were closed that we would have liked to visit. Overall a must see in Sarasota!

  • Review 58 (2024-07-29 - Rating: 5)

St Armand’s Circle has so much to offer! Lots of cute, unique shops-clothes, jewelry, souvenirs, plus snacks-Macrons, Ben and Jerry’s, Meaneys Mini Donuts, restaurants and more. There’s even an arcade that my family has enjoyed for several years. My daughter and I always love walking into the local shops. So many of the people working have such interesting stories to share. This year, a lady working was from Sweden and we enjoyed chatting with her about the differences in weather :)The last couple years, we hit up the Daiquiri Deck for lunch. Parking on the circle-we’ve never had an issue…it is street parking with a QR code to pay for parking. Definitely worth the trip into shop and sightsee!

  • Review 59 (2022-07-24 - Rating: 4)

  • Review 63 (2022-11-27 - Rating: 5)

We had an exceptional day today until these gray clouds came in and its pouring as we speak dangerous lightning and thunder but its all good we made it to get our cold brew Starbucks just in time... The free trolley shuttle is taking us back to our resort beachside.Update: dont want to tell you how many decades Ive been coming here but its always mostly wonderful memories. It looks like another typical year less families spending time at this beach and I recommend if youre going to splurge for your children and the so-called tourist trap in the ice cream section speaking from experience dont walk to the beach itll drip all over the place sit down at one of the lovely tables and bond with your family. And make sure you share those $9 specialty cones on social media lol

  • Review 64 (2024-07-05 - Rating: 5)

Bought some items for our home and a few extras to give as gifts to family.

Its a circle of an eclectic array of shops and food. Its a very small circle so you can do it in a day but if you want to sample to food varieties, take several. The shops are primarily upscale and pricey but decent quality. Its a tourist mecca.

Its definitely worth the time to visit St. Armands Circle as a tourist. The shopping district is well designed around a giant roundabout and flanked with plenty of parking.

  • Review 99 (2024-07-16 - Rating: 5)

Very charming with a bunch of little boutique stores and restaurants. It’s a 5 minute walk from the beach and the beach is very nice. If you like that feeling of being in an upscale area this is the place to go.

  • Review 100 (2024-07-28 - Rating: 5)

The place was awesome! The wait staff was great and very courteous! Would highly recommend the jerked chicken taco or the shrimp taco! Plus the cheese cake is to die for!!

  • Review 101 (2017-03-12 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful place for travelers to stop. There is off street parking or on the street. Unlike other towns who meter downtown street parking, they encourage you to stay. Eat, drink and shop here. The food cannot be beat. The shops are quality top notch and the people are very friendly. My wife spent 2 1/2 hours in the stores after we had lunch and I visited the Ringling Mansion and circus museum near by. When I returned to pick her up she had Five large bags of purchases from shopping. Owwhh ! my credit card!

  • Review 107 (2022-11-26 - Rating: 5)

Parking can be difficult, but there are a lot of nice little shops and restaurants. There are a lot of statues lining the middle of the circle. And the Ringling circle of tributes. This area has a very interesting history. We were here for Thanksgiving week and there were Christmas activities up and running for the kids (Merry-go-round, train, bounce house, snow globe, ice skating).

  • Review 108 (2022-10-09 - Rating: 4)

Cool vibe. Many businesses were closed in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, but still about 50%/were running. No damage, but many folks must have evacuated wisely.

  • Review 109 (2023-08-05 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 114 (2017-07-02 - Rating: 5)

One of my very favorite places to visit. High-end Shops, restaurants, bistros all on a circle. Kind of terrible on street parking but worth the effort. Theres also a shuttle to drop you off if needed. Close to Lido, Siesta, Bird, Bradenton, Coquina, Homes, Longboat Key & Anna Maria beaches. There are different Marinas and Yacht club. Close to Hotels, motels, vacationing rentals. Near down town Sarasota And Mote Marine museum. Go and downs the day :-)

Some of the best wandering around you will do. The boutiques are delightful, the food is fantastic. The people watching is enjoyable too. Parking might take a minute, but it will be worth it. You are bound to find the perfect Floridian souvenir as you browse the shops. And you will not be disappointed no matter where you choose to sit down to eat. Always choose the patio, and always stop at kilwins for ice cream before you leave.

St Armands was hit hard by the last 2 hurricanes hard. Only a few restaurants were open.. Statues in the middle were still standing. All the stores are in renovation right now. The stores will be up and running soon.

Nice little circle to walk around. Enough to stay busy for a bit. We had breakfast (Starbucks and Madison Cafe) along with dinner at Daiquiri Deck. Even stopped and sat next to one of the many restaurants and listened to a wonderful guitarist sing and play. Just wish I had enough space in my belly for Ben and Jerry’s one of those nights.

Its a beautiful place to walk after a meal or to walk after a dessert or ice cream. Its not far from the beach but its very done up and a lot of fancy shops and beautiful window dressing. There are some incredible statues with lots of History and youll usually have a couple live Street performers in some type of art music. In the middle they have kind of a park in the middle of the circular roundabout and every once in a while theyll do an exotic car show there. Where if theres only five cars in the world of a certain model, certainly someone in Sarasota owns one.Lots of gray, eateries, shopping experiences, and even an excellent place for souvenirs to take home if youre visiting.
