10/10!! i always have a pleasant experience when i come here. jessica did an amazing job on my pedicure design, was able to match it perfectly with my nails and was very patient with me when i wasn’t happy with the french tip base color. forever recommending here. she also did a flawless acrylic application on my chipped toenail. she added just enough and blended it seamlessly with my natural nail. i love it

I was looking to get a makeover so I could glow-up for 2025. Lashes and nails. So I chose this salon because you can book online and I like that way because you can see when you’re booking and screenshot it. I got a good impression with my first appointment from the general atmosphere. People were nice, music was pretty great.Originally I booked an appointment to get my nails AND lashes done, but the lash tech called out, so I rescheduled. So I got my nails done: acrylics with pink gel polish, nothing too crazy. Those turned out really well! I think the guy who did my nails was called John. He offered me a free bottle of lotion or cuticle oil when we got done, which I’m not sure if it was a promotion, but that was pretty nice. The lotion smelled pretty great!Later that week, I came in again to get my lash extensions done for the first time ever. I had a visual idea on what I wanted, but no way of explaining it, so I showed the lash tech a picture of what I had in mind. She did an excellent job! Also it was cheaper than I expected. Again, I was offered lotion or cuticle oil, which I wasn’t sure was a promotion, but I still thought that was a nice touch. On top of that, I got several coupons for future services. I wish I got this lady’s name, she did such a good job with my lashes. I hope these lashes stay on for as long as possible.I feel so beautiful because I went here!! They really did such a good job with my nails and lashes; I get people checking me out (in a good way) everywhere I go. I am certain to make this place MY regular place for lashes and nails. I truly can’t wait to come back.

UPDATE! PLEASE READThe owner called me immediately and offered to fix my nails. She said that she would have one her best technicians provide me service. So I went back the following day and I am happy to say that my nails look amazing! 🤩With that said, I highly recommend Tom for nails ( he did both me and my daughter’s nails and they look stunning) and I also recommend Katy for pedicures. I appreciate them taking ownership and making this right 🩷.They obviously have people working here with no license!!! Both my nails and eyebrows are jacked up and I paid $208.00! As you can see, what I wanted was very basic. Based on the picture, I bet you can tell what color I had in my nails before the polish change…. And this shouldn’t be the case. I don’t want to even start on my eyebrows….. I learned that the lady who did my eyebrows, isn’t licensed. Also, I had a 9:30AM appointment, I didn’t get seen until about 10:15. Which also meant that I had to pay more for parking. I would not recommend!

I don’t even know where to start! They were phenomenal! I called trying to make an appointment 30 minutes before close & was eagerly taken in. Upon arrival, I was treated as a regular customer, David was so professional and kind. Also, very patient and helpful. He made sure that I was absolutely satisfied with my set every step of the way, from length/shape/color & design! I trust the entire team is the same. And I can’t forget had great Conversations . The inside was gorgeous and people are so versatile there. Any style you want, they can do. That one random visit sold me to be a loyal customer. Must visit for sure!Oh & a plus & a diamond about this nail salon, they give a 2 week period of fixes or damage repair to your nails from your most recent appt. 💅 .Can’t beat that 😆

$50 spa pedicure was worth every penny of self-care. Great leg massage with hot stone, paraffin, moisturizing butter, hot towel wrap.Really hygienic with tub wraps and new tools.This place is huge and has lots of colors. Call to book, don’t rely on the inaccurate web appt software. Many people just walked in.I did have to go back because the original paint was meh, but they made it all good.Free garage parking or no meters on weekend. Watch out for traffic on game days.

This place is everything you want in a nail salon.. they all are very professional. They speak English very well. They have their Certification certificates posted like they’re supposed to!, And just above and beyond… You show them a picture of what you want and they’re like I got you, boo lol. And there not terribly priced. This is now my new favorite place to go to get my nails done!

My daughter found Violet nails a few weeks ago and I was in love with her nails! Today my sister and I went and both received an amazing pedicure and full set. David did mine and Tracey did my sisters. David was so friendly and service was top notch! It took some time for me to find a good place and I have found my new salon for all our needs. Violet even gave us cuticle oil as a gift because she noticed how dry my cuticles were due to my line of work. I highly recommend Violet nail and David. They even guarantee their work for 2 weeks, if anything pulls up or design jewel fall off they replace for no charge. Check them out you will not be disappointed!!!!

I came in today to get a full set with Violet. She was very nice and could do any design that you want! They had free drinks and candy and even charged my phone for me! I went to Violet nails as an emergency situation of sorts. I was in Tallahassee to see my daughter who was there on business over the holidays. She pointed out Violet nails to me because she had gone there on the Tuesday prior. AND of course her nails looked amazing.So, during my brief visit I had jammed my thumb against something and lifted the nail off my nail from the cuticle through the length of my nail to the tip of thumb. So for 2 days it was wrapped inna band aid so it wouldnt get worse. I arrived at Violet nails and they took me immediately. The Nail tech ( cant remember his name) was awesome. He dremeled the nail down and then using his fine percision skills cut the acrylic, saving the good portion which included the full length of my nail growth to the tip of the acrylic nail. He refilled and filled and OMG shaped all of my nails Perfectly.So, long story short. If youre in Tallahassee and need your nails done, Violet Nails gets my Prime Time run the ladder, take it to the house pick 6..!!!!

Nice to finally find someone that does a great job doing nails!! Violet did an absolutely amazing with my nails. Most nail places seem to just do them as quick as possible and my nails lose their shape when they slap the polish on so thick but Violet really did great. Highly suggest and definitely will be back! First time customer and loved the experienced. Ben was very friendly and did a good job on my toes. I only wished they were filed a little bit more but that doesn’t make me give them less stars. They deserve more than 5stars. Ben and violet both was trying to finish me and a few ladies. This is hands down the best nail salon I have been to in Tallahassee, and I have tried A LOT. I will never go anywhere else in town, Violet is a true GEM and is amazing at everything she does at the salon. Not to mention she is the sweetest person. Genuinely the best nail salon experience I have ever gotten! I I first went to Violet in the beginning of the fall semester in August and was attended to very quickly by the staff, and I got serviced by David. Ever since that first visit, I have been going to him for anything I need. He is genuinely the best I have ever had; he’s funny, friendly, communicates very well and is very precise with his work. He also makes sure that you love your nails every step of the way, and any questions you have he will kindly answer them. Every acrylic set I have gotten has lasted me over a month if I couldn’t find the time to go get them done, but anytime I need to get my nails done or need a quick fix, David immediately comes through and fits me in. I’m very indecisive when it comes to picking a color for my nails, and he puts up with it (as annoying as it can be) helping me pick colors and showing me how they look on the nails so I can really decide. I have also gotten my eyebrows waxed there and they’re amazing at that as well. Overall, best nail salon in Tallahassee, the service is unlike any other!

She is so sweet and amazing with her work and always makes room for her loyal clients which comes in handy for someone that has a habit of asking for last min appointments lol. I feel welcomed and relaxed with the personnel who work here. Everyone is very kind and they accept walk ins. Talented with design and my set usually lasts me 3 weeks no cracks or breaks. (I work with computers and paint) I recommend x100.

Great experience here at Violet Nail Salon. As a new student in Tallahassee, I was worried about finding a reliable nail salon. However, VNS is my new favorite place! She answered my questions and I booked an appointment for 9:30am the next day. They were getting ready to close when I called and I was able to get in that fast. I went into Violet Nails at the suggestion of a friend. I got a pedicure and a dip manicure. I came in with acrylic nails that I wanted soaked off. They actually took the time to soak them, unlike other places that Ive been to where they will crack and rip my nails off. Violet did my dip nails and they are amazing. She is a perfectionist and it shows in her work. Along with being a great nail artist, she is an amazing person to be around. She is funny and nice and caring. I was really worried that my nails would be ruined under the acrylics and I would have have them chopped off and super short. Violet was able to keep my nails long and healthy. Honestly, Ive never had dip power done so well and my natural nails shaped how I want them. For my whole service it was only $75, which to me is an amazing deal seeing as how much care went into my nails. I will absolutely be coming back to see Violet.

My technician, Chelsea, really took pride in her work and would sometimes stop to ensure all the nails were perfectly rounded and exactly the same. You could tell she really knew what she was doing. I came to Violets due to the high rating on google and because I wanted my nails done by an experienced technician. Overall, the service was pretty good. There are two reasons I gave 4 stars instead of 5: for the first maybe 30-40 minutes of my appointment, the technicians were talking with each other and at some points even talking over me, across the salon, etc. Im pretty used to having small talk while getting my nails done so the silence between my technician and myself was kind of awkward. Once she started applying the gel we started to say a few words and towards the end I felt that maybe she had warmed up to me, but at that point I was leaving so it didnt even matter. The second reason is at the end, for the small hand massage that usually accompanies when you get your nails done, my right hand was given such a great massage and I was looking forward to the same techniques for my left because it really loosened up my wrist. However, the left was given a fraction of the time of the right, and not at all equal in terms of what was done. Probably because at that point my nails were done drying and the appointment was basically over. Somewhat disappointed but I will have a friend mimic the technique she did on my right arm because it felt amazing!Overall, if youre looking for skill this is the place to go. My nails came out flawless and at the end of the day thats what really counts!!
