I love Rattlers edge. Preach barber brings so much life into the shop, hes friendly, funny, I can easily connect to him as a person. And as a barber, in comparison, his skills are in my opinion second to none, hes only been cutting for a year or so, and yet you would think hes been a barber his whole life. I discovered and Ive been going to this barber shop since 2008 as a freshman in college. To this day while Im in Tallahassee I still choose this barber shop above all and beyond. The barbers there are genuine, they get to know you and they remember you every time. The service is great and I am pleased every time I leave the shop. I recommend this barber shop for those in town and for all students on the campus. The barbers there will learn you, learn your hair patterns and they will remember you each time you visit. Its very personal, very homey and I enjoy the experience every time. Ive tried other barbers around the city and theyre just trying to make a buck. They dont learn you, they dont know you, they dont remember you and quite frankly theyre not as skilled. Im pleased to go to the Rattlers Edge every time.

The rattlers edge has been my haircut home for about 8 1/2 years. I first came when i was a freshman in college. I have now graduated and been out of school for 4 years and these wonderful people still cut my hair. I have absolutely no complaints because they take care of their customers. Very professional and kindhearted people. The environment is very healthy and i don’t plan on going to another barber anytime soon. I love this place.

I would say that Rattler’s edge is one of the top barbershops if not the BEST in Tallahassee! Not only does the barber there give you an awesome haircut he’s attentive to what you would like done to your own hair and he lets you know how you can improve or take care of your hair. There’s a hair store attached to the barbershop so there’s plenty of products you can purchase to maintain and keep your hair healthy. The shop is very punctual and professional when dealing with customers. There’s always great conversation to have and a nice station playing to please all audiences. Lastly what I find great about the place is they have a website where you can book your appointment and time slots. While you’re there make sure you check out the different haircut deals to get consistent cuts!

I’ve been going to Rattlers Edge for years since 2013 to be exact, and I’ve received nothing but a clean haircut and excellent service every time. Johann works hard to make sure his clients are well taken care of and out in a timely fashion. They also have a beauty supply shop right next door, so it’s really convenient to get a cut and grab some shampoo or a brush for your needs. I highly recommend this barbershop if you need a cut or any hair services.

I love this place! I have 3c/4a hair and it has been really hard for me to find a place where the employees know what they are doing. UNTIL I found this place, Johann is amazing! He is very professional, he does not rush things, he actually takes time when doing your hair and you can have a very nice conversion with him while he is doing your hair. Going to Rattler’s Edge Hair Salon is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. A couple of months ago, I went to a barber that someone referred thinking that I was about to get a fresh new look only to receive the worst haircut I’ve ever had or seen. Rattlers edge Is officially my new hair home! Ive been there to get my hair done 3-4 times so far and have been satisfied EVERY time. Johann is a great hair stylist that takes his time with your hair. I usually get my hair relaxed, styled and cut. He doesnt rush or slaps the relaxer on your hair to get you in and out the door. No, he takes his time to make sure he applys the relaxer on the safest/healthiest way possible. Which is crucial for my sensitive scalp. This is the first time ever my scalp wasnt completely distraught from the use of a relaxer. No Burns, no anything. Just satisfaction! I am too happy, LOL. This place is a keeper.
