    The last time I went to a hair salon, which was quite a long time ago, it was not the best experience, so I was a bit nervous and didnt know what to expect. I read a lot of reviews and did some research looking into the many different salon options around Tallahassee. I chose Chelseas because they had received great ratings and have been around for a long time. They also seemed to have better pricing and more availability than some of the others I saw. I booked an appointment with Janet for a full head of highlights. Upon entering, it seemed very nice and clean. I was greeted warmly, checked in, and offered a beverage by a lovely lady at the front desk. I only waited a few minutes before Janet came to greet me. I very quickly felt at ease and good about the choice I made. She was awesome, friendly and personable. I showed her some pictures of what I wanted and she listened and gave me some input and then worked some magic. I was so happy and pleased with the results! She did an amazing job. The vibe of the establishment was great, and all of the staff seemed friendly. I can see why it is rated so highly. The whole experience was wonderful and I plan on going back in the future.

    Regarding massage, if you are a diabetic and are particularly sensitive and suffer from neuropathies, the technicians are acutely aware of is issue and have techniques that very nicely work around the problems of peripheral neuropathy. I highly recommend them. Additionally, the various products they offer are of rather high quality and, I believe, are 100% vegan.

    I had such a nice experience here. The place is large and very well maintained. I checked in before my appointment. They offered a beverage while I wait and also on my way out. I was seen at my appt time. My hairdresser Shaylynn was very sweet and did a fabulous job. This was my first time here and I received the new women’s hair cut for $35. Parking lot is on the side and wraps around back. There are seats outside to wait at as well. Overall very happy with this place!

    Sadly, I have to say I have never had a service at Chelsea Salon and Spa until now! From the moment you walk in you are greeted and welcomed like you have been there a million times. The staff were so friendly! I had scheduled a facial with Desiree! Let me tell you, she was the sweetest and so accommodating! I’m currently expecting and she made sure I was comfortable before getting started and went over the process before hand to see if I would like to alter anything! I definitely will be back!- side note: The salons area for massages and facials is so peaceful and relaxing. You would think it would be loud from the hair salon portion of the business but it is not. You forget there is even a hair salon. It’s like a separate oasis!

    Such a great experience getting my hair done! Everyone was extremely nice and Cori did an amazing job on my hair. The color is super vibrant and my hair feels nice and soft even after going through a lightening process. 10/10 recommend!

    I had my third massage from Tavares a few days ago and it’s amazing every time! The pressure is perfect and he’s very communicative as to what he’s feeling in the problem areas. My brain is usually wired and I have trouble falling asleep at night on my own, but during his Stress fix massages, I fall asleep every time! This man has healing hands! Book him!!!

    It was my first time at Chelsea’s after having bad hair cut experiences at other salons in Tallahassee. I took a chance trying someone new, Miranda. But she absolutely did amazing. She made me feel comfortable with her the minute I sat in her chair and listened to what I wanted and offered her expertise. The shampoo was also a a great experience.     Ive been coming to Chelseas for almost 4 years and Ive never been disappointed. Blake is my stylist and she is very talented and rises to any challenge I throw at her. We have been through different colors and lengths and I can say my hair has never been healthier. Ive had my brows tinted and waxed, and makeup and hair done for events and all of the services have exceeded expectations. I tell everyone to go to Chelseas.

    Chelseas Salon and Spa is the most welcoming and enjoyable spa Ive ever stepped foot in. I have been pampered with hair color, hair cuts, styling, pedicures, manicures, facials, and massages from a wide range of their employees. They have always gone ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations. I recently had a 90 massage and let me tell you what - this girl went to work, she gave it everything she had and really focused in on my problem areas. I didnt even realize how tight my upper back was until the day after the massage, I literally felt as if I had weight taken off of me. I look forward to getting another massage when my body feels as though it needs some attention again (thanks to the massage, Im still feeling great 3 weeks later).In addition, I have LONG, THICK hair that goes down to my waistline. I have to admit that I dont get it cut and colored as much as I should but my schedule is very very complicated. However, EVERY SINGLE TIME, I receive the perfect cut and flawless all-over color and I walk out of Chelseas with Victorias Secret effortlessly beautiful hair.I simply look forward to going into Chelseas Salon and Spa, the management is wonderful - theyve been more than helpful on MANY occasions with requests of mine. They are extremely respectful and truly value their clients and their business.     The staff was extremely welcoming and personable. The salon owner came over and introduced herself while I was getting my haircut. They have a tiered payment plan based on the stylists experience and I love it!!!! The best haircut I have ever received was by Miss Sylvia. She brought my hair back to life! It has so much volume and she really enhanced my wavy texture with her cut. I had a lot of hair and was cutting off more than 8 inches. Miss Sylvia took the time to cut long strands that could be donated, I have always wanted to donate my hair. A dream come true! I will definitely be back for my annual haircut!     I had an amazing experience at this salon yesterday! I got highlights put in my hair and Blake did my hair. She was super nice and listened to me when I was talking about what I wanted and my hair came out exactly like I wanted and more. She also offered me coffee and made the most amazing coffee for me. I had concerns about the shampoo and conditioner I was using and she helped me find a good shampoo and conditioner for my hair and picked out some travel size bottles so that I could test it out before I fully committed to the shampoo and conditioner. Thank you so much Blake for making my experience at Chelsea Salon such a great one!!

    Cori is PHENOMENAL! I wish I could give her 10 stars! I have gotten my hair done twice by her and both results have been flawless. She knows what to do, even if I don’t have a clue on what I want. I have tried a few different salons around Tallahassee, and this one is it! I love the fact that I can book online for ANY service, and I love the fact that it’s a full service salon/spa. The staff has always been super welcoming/very nice. Love this place!!

    I’ve had countless bad experiences with new stylists, so I was extremely nervous coming here for the first time. However, my experience with Cori was nothing short of perfect.     I had an appointment Saturday morning with Blake for a haircut. I was super nervous about someone new cutting my hair, but shortly after sitting in the chair I knew I was in good hands! She did an amazing job. I showed her the picture and she cut my hair exactly how I wanted! She also blew out my hair really nicely and gave me tips for when I’m doing it myself at home. I really appreciated that. I scheduled my next appointment with her and I’m excited to have a long term hair stylist!

    Ive been searching for an excellent hair stylist. I have long curly hair, which can be a bit overwhelming to some. I called Chelseas and the receptionist recommended Jennifer. She mentioned that Jennifers experience includes having been an Aveda teacher.My appointment was yesterday and Im very impressed. Jennifer accommodated my schedule by arriving an hour early. She went over the options for my price range. She did a marvelous job highlighting my hair. The cut and style are incredible. Her personality was friendly and easy-going. (Im more the quiet type and prefer to be relaxed when getting my hair styled). Overall, this is the best hair experience and style Ive had in a few years. I LOVE the way my hair looks (and so does my husband). :)A note regarding Chelseas...the atmosphere is very professional, friendly and relaxing.

    Destiny is so wonderful! She is very kind, patient, and understands boundaries. She was the first person to ever give me a Brazilian wax and I’ve stuck with her every since. She understands you may be nervous or shy so she steps out the room so you can get undressed which I loved. She’s very friendly, works quickly, and have compassion for all her clients. If you want to ever get a wax I recommend Destiny, she’s definitely a 10/10.

    My experience at Chelseas has never been anything but fabulous. Dianna does my hair and she is awesome. I am a hairstylist in a small salon in Georgia and I decided to start getting my hair done here because I missed being a customer. They did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in the door till the moment you leave the customer service is top notch. I have never been unsatisfied with my hair. I have also had my eyebrows threaded by Sobia and she did a fantastic job. I have never had a negative experience at Chelseas and would question anyone who says they did. Everyone is very nice and approachable. You get a 5 star service but with a hometown atmosphere.

    I have been seen by a handful of employees on the spa side who have all been wonderful and I would definitely see again, but I tend to prefer Kaylyn for facials and mani/pedis. Kaylyn makes me feel like a goddess, and she’s so so kind. I feel like she’s giving me energy and good vibes when I’m with her.I’ve only seen Amber for hair. She was the reason I came to salon, I was recommended to her as someone that knows how to handle thick long hair. She’s so great. And one thing I love about Amber is it’s never forced. If I’m quiet, she’s quiet. If I’m chatty, she’s chatty. She never makes you talk the whole time, or fills the time the useless talking. She’s really quiet zen and has a sassy sense of humor.The support staff are all very sweet and accommodating.100% recommend this salon.

    I’ve been to 4 other salons in Tallahassee and Cori is the absolute best!! This was my first time visiting this salon and I was NERVOUS. As soon as I met Cori, I instantly felt at ease. She listened to absolutely everything I had to say, what I liked and didn’t like about my current hair, what I was looking for in my next look, and even asked for pictures. She paid attention to every detail I said and made sure she took the time to explain whenever I asked questions. Cori was sweet and talkative when I wanted to chat, but she also made me feel like I could relax and close my eyes at any point during the appointment (which I loved!) she was efficient without making me feel rushed at all, and my hair came out better than I ever imagined. My appointment with Cori was $50 cheaper than my last place, took less time, and looks SO MUCH BETTER. Cori will be my go to stylist in tallahassee! Thank you for giving me an amazing experience!

    Belinda is a great hairdresser. Seen her twice now and she listens to her customers as well as a great personality.     I just got a hair cut about 2 weeks ago from Cori Norton and I’m in love with my short hair! She cut about 9 inches of hair, I was very nervous because I have never had short hair.     Yesterday, I had the Chelsea Ultimate day spa experience as a birthday gift from my husband. It was AMAZING! They really spent so much time focusing on my relaxtion and made me feel special. All of my services were great, but the facial was my favorite. When you enter the spa you are transported to a tranquil paradise. Thank you to my massage therapist, Desiree who did my facial and mani/pedi, and MJ who did my hair, you ladies were great! I have to brag on Desiree, she really helped with my ingrowns while doing my pedi and was very knowledgeable. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend this! Its not just a spa day, but an experience!

    Just had another massage today! The ultimate massage done by Alana was fantastic. I am not a spa guy and usually only get a massage, but the ultimate is like a body treatment AND a massage. Alana added years to my life today!So glad I made my way back to Chelsea... high end service and some of the best massage professionals in town... Jasmine delivered an amazing 90 minute swedish massage and I feel like a million bucks!

    I cannot say enough about Chelsea salon and Spa. Everyone I have dealt with has been friendly, focused and talented. It reminds me of the spas in NYC and San Francisco and Atlanta. I am so glad I finally checked them out and now they are my full service salon and spa. Employees seem to really enjoy their jobs and that says a lot about the manager and the owner. Kudos!!

    I needed an emergency stress-relief pedicure, and Kaylyn at Chelsea delivered. Chelseas pedicures are more expensive, but theyre also much more luxurious and enjoyable than anything Ive experienced at any other salon. I felt like royalty the moment I entered the building. Kaylyn did a great job and was so sweet. Im definitely coming back in the future.

    I having been coming to this salon for a few years now and I am always greeted promptly in the midst of the bustling atmosphere. They take all precautions in regards to COVID-19 by checking temperatures at entry, requiring masks, and providing masks if you don’t have one.     I took my daughter to Chelseas for her 16th Birthday salon day. From the time we walked in we felt we were among friends. We were there for several hours. They were professional, warm, personable, and patient. Sue went out of her way to provide my daughter with a fun and memorable experience. Desiree and Rachel did a beautiful job on her nails and hair. Summer loved the attention, cucumber water (YUMMY!!) and birthday cupcake! Thanks again! :)

Alana is a intuitive therapist that really listens to my issues and focuses to give me relief of my areas needed in addition to her techniques of therapeutic massage provided .     Ever since I suffered some health issues years ago my scalp and hair has never been the same. I suffer from extremely dry scalp. I came here because a friend recommended the scalp detox treatment and I have NO regrets! I saw Cori and she is such an easy person to talk to. I felt like I had known her for years.     A fresh new talent at Chelsea Salon & Spa. I walked in a tired Mom with a bad balayage. I walked in to the chic and sophisticated Chelsea and was right away introduced to Blake my stylist. She was very knowledgeable, upbeat and funny as she worked her magic ie; Color Correction , full head color as well as highlights and a fresh new hair cut. I feel 10 years younger!!     I went into Chelsea as a new customer because I had heard really great things about the place. I scheduled an appointment for a full (extreme) highlight and was very happy with my stylist (Chelsea) - she was SUPER sweet and nice, and I probably will only have her color my hair from now on.NOW, with that being said, the only reason I rated the quality of the salon as a 2/3 instead of 3/3 is because Chelsea unfortunately missed a spot right by my part near the back that was really obvious and showed my roots. When I brought it to her attention she basically said that no one would be able to tell and that I could just part my hair differently so that the spot wouldnt be seen - she never offered to fix it, or to give me a discount on the service for her mistake. Normally I would not make a big deal out of it (I was a new customer, I sincerely enjoyed her as a stylist, I had scheduled a follow up appointment anyway, and it wasnt like she turned my hair pink) HOWEVER, my appointment was the day before a major modeling photo shoot I had to attend - which I told her all about during the appointment - and after I received the pictures back from the photographer, I saw that the spot she missed was SUPER obvious and detracted from the quality of the photos (it cost me almost $300 to do this photo shoot). My follow up appointment at Chelsea is scheduled for Monday; I havent decided yet if Im going to make a complaint when/if I go, but I feel that after paying over $130 JUST for a highlight that they should at least do SOMETHING to make up for the mistake.Finally, I would like to reiterate that this was only my first time experience at the salon; I will most likely decide to go back and see the same stylist just because the salon itself is absolutely beautiful, the prices are decent, and as I mentioned before, the stylist who did my highlights was absolutely amazing (except when it came to me pointing out her mistake).

    A friend of mine recommended Chelsea Salon and specifically Neesha when I needed some hair therapy! Neesha fixed my color, a bad cut, and brought life back to my hair. I have been back to her again since then, and she gave me a fresh new cut with beautiful color. Highly recommend her - shes amazing! Ive also been to Chelsea for a gel manicure and had two great experiences with Deseree! Shes friendly and knowledgable, and she gave me two great manicures!
