    I’ve been going here for almost 2 years now. I have never found a nail salon I’ve ever loved until I found this place. It’s family owned, great friendly service. The nail techs are not pushy on designs you don’t want but are honest & give suggestions on what would look good for your skin tone etc. ultimately they let it be your decision. They are also very talented! I’ve attached a few pics. I get the soft builder gel on my natural nails and my nails have never been stronger, it last me usually 4 weeks/5, no lifting or chipping! I highly recommend them if you live in the area, or if you’re new to the area and need a quality nail salon!

    I had the absolute pleasure of getting a French Pedi and Gel X Mani from Sonda & Jenny, and they did a fantastic job! Both were super sweet, patient, and incredibly informative throughout the entire process. I had a lot of questions, and they answered each one with kindness and professionalism. Ive never felt so pleased with my money spent—my nails look amazing, and the whole experience was wonderful. I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment!

    I’ve been getting my nails done by Sonda for over 15 years and have been at this salon with her since she opened. This should tell you how much I like her work. She is always keeping up with the latest product, colors & trends. I’ve seen the work the other gals do too and it’s all quality stuff. I highly recommend this salon…parking is free too…bonus.

    First time at this nail salon and had to come on here to write a review! Jenny did an amazing job on my nails – they turned out PERFECT! This is by far the best dip French + chrome manicure I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back!

    Julie always does a great job, so happy with my mani and can’t wait to come back for my regular appointment! One of the ladies brings her dog, Pebble, and she is so cute. Definitely recommend this place- they are so clean and my nails always last 3+ weeks! A stand out from the other salons I’ve tried in Tampa.

    Love coming here! The owner is so sweet. I finally found my nail lady! Her attention to detail is top notch and my nails last a loonngggg time. I get acrylic fill in with gel polish and their pricing is average for Tampa.

    I wanted to go to Clae nail salon across the street on a Sunday around 3:45. But they only do appointments, and I would have to wait 45 min.They suggested that I go across the street to Channelside. I was nervous they would do a rush job, seeing as their OPEN light was off, and was crowded and old, definitely not luxe like Clae. But I received perfect service.

    This salon is very nice and well cared for. Every time I’ve been there the owners beautiful smiling face is around helping out and cleaning. My sister and I called around a few places due to a time crunch before we arrived to see who could get us in and of course, Channelside nails took great care of us. The owner told us to come right over and set us up in their relaxing & clean massage chairs. My sis had a workout to be at 6:30 so they made she was well pampered and on her way with time to spare. They’re really a great salon! I’m a tough critic but this one is amazing.

    Accepted my walk in 15 minutes before I walked in! Very calm and quiet environment. Fast and efficient manicure! I love when my nails are not too thick, these are perfect.

    It is in a very nice part of town . My friend and I are African American and very large , we were scared they would be rude . But they were super nice and very accommodating . I got a full set pink and white on my feet and nails . Diamond was perfect and fast , and Jamie was very good as well . I would recommend this place , and I will be back !

    Definitely love this place,if you are in Tampa in need those nails to laid, Go to Channelside Nail Salon! They always have time and they are there to do service You. Nice area as well. Parking is ok it 3 US dollars if you use the garage, still trying to figure out most convenient way to access the establishment but for the most part they have decent prices for the services they provide

    The customer service is outstanding each time I visit. Ive gone to other nail salons however they have not shown me the spectacular treatment ChannelSide Nail Salon does. I do pamper days one or two times out of the month and each time is so wonderful. Try them out you wont regret it what so ever.

    Extremely happy with my experience with hybrid gel nails and will definitely be back. Great attention to detail to make sure all of my cuticles were trimmed prior to painting and curing.

    It was my first time to get Magnetic Nails done over my regular Acrylic base. Their staff are very sweet and knowledgeable about their techniques as well as English. I strongly recommend here to my friends and I would come back soon!!!

    Will not be returning. I am not a review girl but I needed to share this. I went to this nail salon for my first time and was given so much attitude, I didn’t feel welcome and they charged me 80 dollars for a fill. Also I sat down after someone and she didn’t change the towel or anything (very dirty inside) which really grossed me out. I then proceeded to go back a second time because I wanted to give it another try. 4 days later my acrylic nail popped off so I went after work and walked in. I shared that my nail fell off and she was so rude about it, rolling her eyes, saying “who did it?” And I said “I am pretty sure you did” then told me “it’s gonna cost $10 for me to do it” in a rude voice. She finishes it and I get up and it is soaking wet, I said “is this dry?” And she said “well no u just got up before I told u to” then I look down an it is soooo crooked. Awful customer service, how are u gonna charge 10$ for one nail that popped off opening my lunchbox that U put on. So unprofessional- I would not go here unless you want to pay wayyyy more than the service that is provided and be disrespected!

    Was in Tampa on vacation and looked for a place close to where we were staying to get mani/pedis with my mom. This came up with good ratings and was very close. Also opens early. I called ahead but they accept walk-ins too. Very clean place with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

    We are visiting from out of town before we leave for our cruise 🚢 and they were able to accommodate my daughter and I last minute! We got gel pedicure and a special kind of nails 💅🏽 that looks like a full set but better for your nails! We loved them and had a wonderful time! Highly recommended!

    I visited today for the first time and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I normally have very brittle and short nails so the owner suggested the new hybrid gel nails and I’ve never had such beautiful acrylics. I was also in a bit of a rush so they did my full set and pedicure at the same time which was so nice! I will definitely be back.

    I am very pleased with my first appointment. The service was super fast. I booked for dip/manicure and pedicure w/ gel polish. I received a manicure and pedicure at the same time which is genius; instead of spending 2 hours, I only spent 1 hour. Well worth the money and your time. 👌😀

    I absolutely LOVE coming here. The service and the staff is always so so sweet and engaging. It makes me feel at home compared to other salons. The service is quick and well-done and not too pricey like others in Tampa. I have definitely gone around to try to find my favorite nail salon near downtown Tampa and this one is at the top of my list! I enjoy going here and the quality experiences I always have!!

    Gel Manicure was done quickly, efficiently, and beautifully. I got a deluxe gel pedicure as well and I could not recommend a service more!!! Shins are feeling smooth and hydrated, while the bottoms of my feet are just as smooth. Perfection is the standard here !! Love this place :)

    If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I started coming here because it was convenient and within walking distance. I continued coming here because they do a PHENOMENAL job. I have to keep up with my manicures because I keep my nails long and they require regular attention; that said, I am very very picky with how they are cared for. Genuinely 100% I have never received a better, more attentive and detailed manicure than with Lily. I refuse to go anywhere else. I am moving out of Channelside and will still drive back biweekly for my manicures. This place is professional and kind, and they take their time with all of their appointments (my manicures take like 75 minutes, it’s amazing) Typically nail salons rush you in and out so they can get more people in the chairs, and it results in sloppy work that chips and needs to be redone in a week. Not here! In November, Lily did a shellac that lasted FOUR WEEKS, no chips, no peel, perfect looking with just nail outgrowth as proof of how long it had been. Best part? They charge very average prices for their services.Bottom line: best nail salon in Tampa. Don’t waste time or money going anywhere else.

    Came here on a whim with a friend, they were able to get us both in with short notice. A few other folks were there when we arrived but we were helped and seated right away. The whole place was clean and everyone was really nice. I went for the $45 pedi option that came with the stone massage and it was SO NICE! My feet and calves felt so nice and relaxed and the polish was applied perfectly. Very satisfied and will happily return

    Great experience overall! Very accommodating. I told her the water was not hot enough she emptied the water and made it hotter. The lady next to me was doing work on her laptop and they offered her a wooden stand or something to rest her laptop on so that it was at eye level. I thought that was awesome. My ingrowns were removed carefully and efficiently and she even treated them after and was sure to pull the skin back while polishing to assure it did not get inside. That was greatly appreciated because no one has done that thus far. It’s the little things for me lol. The finished product was beautiful. No lumps in the polish and a nice clean finish. Aesthetically, the place is beautiful and a relaxing environment. They were courteous and great customer service over the phone and in person and that goes a long way for me! If you’re lucky enough you’ll even get a chance to see their adorable Pomsky!🥰

    When I say it’s literally been YEARS since I have had someone care about getting the shape right on my nails (coffin), it’s literally been YEARS. Jenny did my nails yesterday and took the time and care every technician should take to make sure that all of my nails were an even length and an excellent shape. Couldn’t be happier with my service. I am new to the area and she will be my regular nail technician. I know, I know, it’s just nails. But seriously... finding someone who truly cares about their work is hard to find without spending an arm and a leg. I’ve been to probably 6 different salons in the St Pete/Tampa area and I have been displeased with my service every single time either because the price was so astronomical along with a “meh” service or the service was just down right awful with a wonky shape to my nails. I remember specifically going to 2 salons in downtown St Pete- one was Le Nail where I spent 150 on two pedicures that were NOT worth the price and the other was Paint Nail Bar where my entire full set fell off in less than a week (maybe it’s because they only do “natural” nails and don’t use electric files, idk. But she told me they’d last 3 weeks. What a joke). Thank you Jenny again for doing an excellent job on my nails. I’m so incredibly pleased if I haven’t mentioned it a bunch of times in this review already. Be back in 2 weeks!

The entire staff was super friendly, the clientele was eclectic, and the price was perfectly appropriate. I live in St. Pete but will be driving up to Tampa every two weeks from now on because I loved this nail salon so much!

    Wednesday night was my second time visiting this salon. I made an appointment for a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. Victoria did an outstanding job on my pedicure. I am also very happy with my dip set, however, have realized that some nail lengths on each hand are not the same. For instance, my thumb nails are different lengths.My biggest suggestion would be to make an appointment for this salon! They were extremely busy and had to turn away multiple walk-in customers during my appointment.

    I absolutely love Sonda and Julie! They do a great job with my dip powder nails. Sonda is the owner and is so accommodating. Her shop has more colors than any nail salon I’ve ever seen before - including glitters, glow in the dark, and seasonal options... and she keeps buying more!! It’s incredible how many colors there are. It might take you a few minutes to pick one LOL. But the selection is absolutely amazing. I’ve seen other people get complex nail designs like marble, characters and themes. All of them came out impeccable. The salon is super clean and well maintained.

    Ask for Diamond (shes from Cuba). She gave me the most meticulous manicure and dip of my life. I am super picky and have stormed out if many nail salons in my life. But Diamind at Channelside really cares about the quality of her work. First, she soaked off my old dip without any wear or tear to my nails (it slid right off). When she re-did them, she sculpted them delicately with a thin shell (not thick--they look totally natural, but very sturdy)--again, without ANY DAMAGE or drilling to my nails. Then she did a meticulous polish job. The manicure was also flawless, trimming the cuticles. Many other nail techs do a quick, okay job or poor job, but she was outstanding. And then she gave me a perfect brow wax.

    This is the only place in Tampa Bay I go to my nails done. I initially started going because of the convenience of a nail salon right in Grand Central. However, I have continued to go because the quality of services offered is second to none.The salon is very clean and comfortable. The owner (Shonda) is always there to greet customers and get last minute appointments or walk-ins serviced as soon as possible. When I’m short on time they can do my gel mani and gel pedi simultaneously, which saves me tremendous amounts of time and doesn’t compromise the quality of the mani or pedi at all- a service I have not encountered at other salons. They use quality products, the lacquers never appear old, and they always have the newest OPI colors (in addition to several other brands) available to choose from.The staff is friendly and everyone there is exceptional at what they do. No matter who does my mani or pedi - I know my nails are going to look exactly how I want them to when I leave. I prefer the SNS dip manicure and I truly can say that every time my manicure is flawless and still looks fresh weeks later.I no longer live in Grand Central but now make a 45 min commute to Channelside Nails for all my mani/pedi needs because the quality of the services they provide simply cannot be found elsewhere.

    Was visiting in town for a big test and decided to stop in for a quick pedi to relax despite all the negative reviews. My friend and I were both very pleased and felt the staff was nice and professional. We didn’t feel rushed and brushed off. The place isn’t the nicest or most relaxing ambiance but for a last minute pedi, I give 5 stars! It met my expectations and I’m satisfied.

    Very clean inside and very sweet employees.The worst part was parking and finding the place. And I hated the color... So I ended up paying $140 for a dipp and a gel pedicure... Which is ridiculous but even when I told the woman I did not like the color , she just continued to upsell her product. I doubt I will go back.

    Channelside Nail Salon is the best - very efficient, fast and everyone is so sweet. Minh personally does my pedi and mani - she is so awesome and so fun to talk to.
