    Lisa was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Responsive, informative, through, kind and all the possible positive things someone could be! She got back to me so fast and was to my house in no time! She checked my whole family and some friends with no hesitation. I hope I donā€™t have to see her again in this circumstance but I will most definitely recommend to anyone in need! Worth EVERY PENNY!

    If I could give a 100 star review, I would in a heartbeat! Gennie was absolutely amazing in every way possible! She was able to go through and remove everything in my 2 year olds hair (less than an hour) and was so patient and compassionate with her!! Her hair is very, very curly and dry, that was no problem for Gennie and she got it all done thoroughly! I have very long hair and Gennie was able to throughly go through mine within in the hour and not miss anything! She also went through my moms hair as preventative care, free of charge! Gennie was so informative and really cares about her clients and giving them the tools to stay lice free! You are even provided with a professional lice comb and an informative video about after care! We made a 2 hour trip to see her and would highly recommend making the trip to anyone else who needs it, with no hesitation! Thank you Gennie from the bottom of our hearts!

    Clearly the best there is and been doing this a loooong time. We have a family of 5 and had to do us all (including one of our kids who had it bad). Total pleasure, very efficient, and wonderful with the kids. We actually had to deal with this years ago in NY and the experience was triple the price and so much less pleasant. Jenny is truly awesome. Makes getting lice ā€œalmostā€ worth it (but not!). Thank you!

    Just took my son to see Gennie and OH MY GOD. She is an absolute miracle worker. After finding out my son had a full infestation, she got EVERYTHING out. She showed us how to prevent future infestations AND informed me that my son has psoriasis on his scalp. I can honestly not recommend more. Would absolutely go back.

    Kayla is the only person who is allowed to comb my daughterā€™s hair because when we I do it she cries. Kayla was the sweetest and was so understanding with my daughter whenever my daughter wanted to give up on the treatment.     Gennie is Amazing! Sheā€™s so knowledgeable and willing to share information that will help you stay lice free. Weā€™ve used her twice and within an hour my kids were lice free. Gennie makes it look so easy but I can assure you after multiple failed attempts at trying to do it myself, itā€™s not easy! Totally worth the $99 to leave it to the professionals and save yourself the time and stress. I will forever refer anyone I know who needs this service to Gennie!

    I came here for help with lice after we tried the over the counter at home stuff, the expensive essential oil one online, the prescription Malathion, AND we spent $400 at Lice Away Tampa two weeks ago (still had lice). No lice now, plus we didnā€™t leave with oil in our hair and bags on our heads, plus the price was a QUARTER of what we paid the other guys! Highly recommend, donā€™t waste time like I did, just come here first.Psst plus the Lice Away Tampa lady is a Scientologist šŸ˜±Edited to add a photo of the comb I got from these guys compared to the knock off we for from the expensive place! She will educate you on how to tell the difference šŸ¤­

    Where to start! Gennie was amazing with both of my girls. I panicked when I realized my daughter had lice after itching like crazy. This was our first time experiencing this and after calling a few places and then finding Gennie at a very reasonable price, we drove the two hours!     If you are panicking because you just found lice and researching professionals, let this review be the one to convince you!! I am a nanny and to my despair found lice for the first time. As a blonde with processed/ damaged hair, I was so worried about even attempting to try the over-the-counter chemicals on my head (which barely work half the time!!) but after this experience I am SO GLAD that I just chose to get professional help.     Kayla was so knowledgeable and reassuring! She actually listened to me and came to our home within a couple hours! In a downpour at that. We enjoyed her company while she did her thing. She left us with the comb which is 10x better than what the store kits give. I wish I would have called them first. We went to Lice Away Today on a Monday and needed her services on that Wednesday!     I made the mistake of going elsewhere instead of going straight to Gennie! I recently got my daughter treated at Lice Away Today. The experience was a bit strange. She did a heat treatment on my daughters hair but then proceeded to only brush out HALF of my daughters head. She then insisted that I didnt necessarily need to brush out my daughters whole head and that shell be okay to go back to school, but who would feel okay with their child walking around with that still in their head? I felt it in my gut that I needed to call someone about this situation and I called Gennie. She gave me so much information that was so needed and eased my fear about the whole situation. She sent me a link for the comb and for the video on how to perform the removal! It was such a blessing to find her. I am so thankful she helped me even though I didnt initially go to her for help. Just amazing!

    Lisa was amazing! I called another company who was outrageously priced & pushy. Lisa explained everything to me, assured me that she could handle the job, and she delivered on everything!     Ms. Jenny is amazing! She was so quick and friendly. Our whole family enjoyed talking with her (and our neighborhood kiddos too). Our little girl is tender headed and she had her hair done so quickly it was painless. She then blow dried our hair and rechecked it with a magnifying glass! Right before she hit here we got up early, washed all our bed stuff, took care of our hair brushes and ties, then vacuumed and we were done in one day! Dont hesitate to call, being done with these nuisances in one day versus weeks or months of struggling with it is worth the low price she charges!     So thankful and grateful! We discovered lice on a Sunday - Easter Sunday - and my friend gave me their number and told me to call and donā€™t treat it myself. I called and left and message and Kayla called me right away and came immediately.. on an Easter Sunday!! I was blown away at her sense of urgency to talk me off the ledge!     Fantastic experience. I received a call from my childā€™s school and knew I had my work cut out for me as I remembered going through this many years ago.     Kayla was a lifesaver. I found out my daughter had lice on Tuesday night.     I called to make an appointment for my daughter but it turned out that I was too far from their office. The person on the phone took the time to listen to the details, make an assessment and provide guidance on what I should do today and going forward as preventive measures. Sent me links to products and instructional video to help, all at no cost. Based on customer service alone, I would highly recommend giving this company a shot!

    If you find yourself in this situation, pay a visit to Gennie!! She saved us and were so grateful. She saw us immediately and taught us so much. We found her after unfortunately spending $500 at another clinic without full success. The other clinic charged us a large amount and the job was left incomplete. (By this I mean, sending us home with nits still in the hair and resulted in us being sent home from school again). Gennie did the job from start to finish and sent us home feeling educated.     I am so happy that I found this company. Gennie did wonders on my daughterā€™s thick, curly, biracial hair. I attempted to treat her hair a few times and I thought I got them all, but I failed. If youā€™re wondering if you should spend the money on a treatment kit or a professional, choose professional. We were there for about an hour. I wish I could take back all the time and money I spent previously on treatment kits and home remedies. Gennie is extremely nice and down to earth.     My daughters school didnt let us know there was a bad case of lice going around so we unfortunately my daughter got it. I spent an entire week trying to get rid of it. I bought Rid, lice shampoo, vinegar, peroxide tea tree oil shampoo...I did it all and I couldnt get the nits out of my daughters hair! I finally lost all patience and decided to seek professional help....I WISH I did this to begin with!! I read reviews on a few places in Tampa and made the decision to choose this company. I texted on the day they were closed and assumed to hear back the next day when they opened. I got a response within an hour. Scheduled an appointment for someone to come to our home the next day. Next day Kayla came to our home. Checked my whole family free of charge. Unfortunately I had lice...not alot so I assume it was just the beginning. My son and husband thankfully didnt. (And before you say they have short hair of course they didnt...my son has long hair.) Kayla treated my hair first then did my daughter who had alot despite all the efforts I did. Mostly nits not lice. Kayla treated us washed our hair, dried it and went through it again with a mega light section by section. Kayla was super thorough and very nice. I highly recommend her or this company. She left us with a ton of information and videos to treat this in the future also. I really wish I did this on the first day. They take FSA/HSA which was a huge win for me! I wouldnt hesitate to call them in the future if God forbid this happens again...but I plan to do what Kayla recommended to not have this happen again!

    My experience was phenomenal. My appointment was made 4 hours before I went. She checked my aunt and she had no lice. She checked me and I had some. It was very quick and she was very nice.     Absolutely wonderful experience. She took us same day I called for an appointment. Did an amazing job removing lice from 3 of us all with long thick hair and at half the cost of the original place I was going to go to originally but decided against because my 3 yr old would not wear a mask for that long to have any treatment done. She gave us lots of good information to prevent future lice, and you go home with the special comb needed to do it, and clean dry hair unlike the other one. Definitely highly recommend her.

    This was such a blessing this experience. She was so kind and reassuring to me. Not only did she comb out my hair and ensure that I was lice and nit free but she taught me how to comb my hair and look for live lice. She gave me the comb to keep and I will use as part of my hair care routine as it is good for dandruff as well! I am so thankful for this experience and would definitely recommend for anyone who believes they have lice. Lice is not something to be ashamed about. I feel so encouraged and relieved!!!     As soon as I knew my teenager had lice i was having flashbacks of when my girls were in preschool and elementary and we dealt with it for months.     I contacted Gennie last week about one of my daughters hair. She was great and was more than accommodating. We live two hours away from Tampa, she made arrangements to meet us for a late afternoon at a place in town. She was great, very detailed. She took care of my one daughter that i have been trying to get it all out. She also checked all of my daughters long hair and we had a great time talking with her. She is a great person and provides a great service for a flat charge. I hope I dont need her service again, but if i do I will definitely contact her again. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

    My daughter went to a new school for summer host & contracted lice almost immediately. I tried different methods from store bought kits to home remedies. I think I spent well over $100. My daughter has super long hair to her butt and her being 5 years old it was too much for me to pick thru each strand. Cutting her hair isnā€™t an option for my culture. I found Genie online and she got me in immediately! Her daughter Kristen did the treating of the hair and she was awesome! So patient with my daughter and very informative to us. I will be forever grateful for their services and their willingness to adapt to my schedule!     Jenny was a lifesaver! I found lice in my daughters hair about a week before we were to leave on summer vacation and was completely stressing over whether or not we should go. I spoke with Jenny and she spent time with me over the phone to gather as much info as she could, as in where she may have gotten it, what to do until she got to our house, etc. She was available to come to our house with 15 hours of calling her. (I called her around 8pm) My daughter was very nervous before Jenny arrived but once she came in and set everything up, my daughter immediately felt comfortable. Jenny has a wonderful personality and she genuinely cares for her clients. She spent nearly 2 hours combing through my daughters head to ensure she removed all the eggs and bugs. Once she finished combing my daughter out, she had her take a shower and then she blew dry my daughters hair and combed through it once it was dry to make sure there were no evidence of any nits or bugs. While my daughter was in the shower, she combed through everyones head in the house to make sure that none of us had gotten it. She did not charge anything extra for that, where as other places charged a minimal fee just to check extra heads. She also educated us on how we could prevent a breakout in the future and provided us with a very informative info packet so that we did not forget anything that she went over with us. I would GLADLY recommend Tampa Lice Company to anyone who has found live bugs and/or eggs in hair. It was worth every penny! And needless to say, we went on our vacation at the end of the week and we are still LICE FREE to this day!

    I called Jennifer because I dealt with a nightmare lice issue several months ago, and found what I thought to be a louse during my bath today. She was honestly one of the nicest people to speak with. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. She politely asked me about my current hair/scalp situation, and requested that I send a picture of the louse. After taking the time to review my pictures, she informed me that it did not look like lice.     I recently had to deal with a case of lice with my family and my husband is gone for a month (military family). I was COMPLETELY overwhelmed with trying to figure out who would help me with my own head of lice (I thought I could get it out of my kids:).     Let me just start by saying, like everyone who ends up with lice in their home, I had doubts that weā€™d ever truly be lice free. I WAS WRONG!     Its long but worth the 3 minutes to read!! So, my THREE YEAR OLD caught lice frim her daycare about 3 weeks ago. I also have a 21 year old daughter who had lice growing up so I know what a nightmare lice is, therefore I decided to immediately call a professional rather than try to take care of it on my own. I called the Lice Away Salon in Tampa & happened to get the owner on the phone. SHE WAS SO RUDE I ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. Long story short, the very next day I had the Hairy Fair come out to my house. She was very nice, knowledgeable & I was confident the issue was taken care of. I was POSITIVE she told me she offered a 30 day guarantee. I kept my daughter out of school the week after just to make sure all the kids at school & the school itself took care of the problem on their end before sending my daughter back. I did everything right!! I checked my daughters hair everyday, used the comb & wrnt through her entire head in small sections everyday for 5 days, washed EVERYTHING in the house, car, linens, treated my head even though I was checked & didnt have it, etc. About 10 days after the treatment I saw my daughter itching her head....I ABOUT DIED.....MORE BUGS & NITS! I called The Hair Fairy who told me that she only guaranteed her service for 7 days....I DEFINITELY did not remember that. I was CERTAIN she said 30 days .I would not have used her if I knew the guranatee was only for 7 days because Im familiar enough with lice to know better. She offered to come back out again but of course for another $100 fee. And being that the service wasnt successful the first time I was not going to use her again. I saw Tampa Lice Removal (the ONLY company with a 5 star rating). I dont know how I overlooked her company my first time around. When I called she wasnt getting good cell reception. About 5 mins later I got a call back from Gennie, who had got in her car & drove somewhere to get better reception & call me back. I explained that at this point it had been abother 7 days of me going through my 3 year olds hair everyday, spending a fortune on the useless over the counter products, trying to get my 3 year old to sit atill long enough for me to go through her hair strand by strand, washing, re-washing EVERYTHING....THE LIST JUST GOES ON & ON. After speaking w/ Gennie for about 20 mins & realizing how much more knowledgeable she was compared to the last company I knew I definitely wanted, AND NEEDED Gennie! GENNIE GUARANTEED ME THAT IF BY SOME CHANCE MY DAUGHTER GETS THEM AGAIN, SHE GUARANTEES HER SERVICE FOR 30 DAYS...BUT WHEN SHE TOLD ME THAT IN ALL THE YEARS SHE HAS BEEN DOING THIS SHE HAS NEVER HAD ANYONE HAVE TO COME BACK TO HER, I FINALLY, FINALLY BREATHED A SIGH OF RELIEF! THIS WOMAN KNOWS HER STUFF! When she went back through my daughters hair, she had special glasses that were magnifying glasses as well as a headband w/ a light on it to ensure she doesnt miss anything. I cannot say enough good things about Gennir & her service. I was BLOWN AWAY!!!!!! My ONLY regret is that I somehow missed seeing her company listed the first time around. Ill be back in 10-14 days time to write another review once I know that we are still lice free....which after the EXTREMELY THOROUGH service she provided today, I am CONFIDENT we will be! I dealt with this lice nightmare for the first time about a month ago and I wanted to pull my hair out, they were in my daughters hair and I was washing everything in the house for over a week.     Super quick 11 minute response time from Gennie to quell the immediate freak out. Christy was at our house within 30 minutes. She was fun and funny. She immediately changed the panick to calm, and put my daughter at ease. This is our third bout with head lice in 12 months and my daughter abhors the metal spiral-tined lice comb raking her scalp. She has long hair and a tender head. Christy did a great job being gentle, but thorough. She told us what she was doing through the whole process. At each of the three places we previously went to for professional lice removal the process has been a little different, except the lice combing. The Tamp Lice Removal process is different from others I have used in that it suggests subsequent comb outs with the lice comb, which I think will help us to stay lice free. I wish other parents at my daughters school would use a professional service like Tampa Lice Removal and understand how important it is to get each and every tiny little nit. If not, then once the nits hatch (in 6-9 days), the louse life cycle starts all over again like a bad Groundhog Day movie. Summary, Tampa Lice Removal was awesome!

    This place is ridiculous!!! I canā€™t even believe how good they are!!!! I am literally in awwww of them!! My daughter has curly hair down past her butt and Kayla went straight to work and was done with her in a little over an hour. When i say she went above and beyond to take care of my daughter i mean it. This is the first time Iā€™ve had to deal with lice and she told me what to do. When i felt like i wasnā€™t winning a mother of the year awards she explained that thereā€™s nothing i could of done.     Absolutely the best! Called on Saturday evening as they were heading to another client and said they would to come to my home after they were finished. This was my first experience with lice and hopefully the last after provided with the correct tools and information. The owner explained everything as it was being done.     This service is invaluable. I would have paid triple the price to get the solution and peace of mind they offer. I also had some doubts that it was too good to be true. They come to you, it is done so quickly, and then the nightmare is over! But, it really did work. We were able to arrange an evening house call that worked with our schedules. Christy was the one who came to help my partner and I, who both have very long, thick, and coarse hair. Neither of us wanted to cut it. It was daunting to us, but Christy took care of it like a pro and had us laughing the whole time. She is very knowledgeable about the topic at hand.     I can not express how relieved I am to have called Gennie today with Tampa Lice Removal!!! I tortured my child for two days by putting expensive, useless, toxic products on her from the drugstore and combing her hair out HOURS :( I only wish I knew of her service when I discovered the lice. She was amazing with my daughter who had extremely long hair and lots of anxiety about the idea of bugs.
