    My mother-in-law Clara Garcia had a wonderful experience at Dr. Bowmans office. She appreciated that she was treated with kindness and respect. The doctor and his staff explained exactly what the procedures entailed. The explanations would help her relax and made her less fearful. The appointments were always as scheduled, no excess waiting. The end result of reconstructive surgery was phenomenal.Thank you Dr. Bowman and his wonderful staff.

    The staff at the Bowman Institute was absolutely the most professional, informative, hospitable i, we my husband has experienced in the medical field, not only are they respectful of the patients they are respectful of each other. The manners headed off with Dr Bowman and trickles down and becomes instilled in EVERY employee. My experience was a 10 but they only gave 5 stars.     I recently had a squamous cell skin cancer initially diagnosed by my primary dermatologist. He referred me to Dr. Bowman who I was already familiar with having had a number of my own patients go to him for a more extensive resection with Mohs surgery. I found their office and staff to be very professional and courteous. Dr. Bowman took his time with me and explained exactly what he planned to do. I was very happy with my experience there and would highly recommend him for more complex skin surgical treatment.

    Dr. Bowman is an excellent surgeon he explained in detail what I may expect upon his initial surgical procedure. He gave me a no nonsense approach of what to expect and was thorough in every phase of my procedure. His assistants were very professional as they helped during the surgery. I was scheduled like clockwork for a follow up and how to care for the surgical area.My family members have gone to Dr. Bowman over the years and I would not go anywhere else to have dermatological skin problems or have anyone check for potential skin cancer but his practice. I am confident he does all that can be done to treat the problem to cure it. He truly cares about his patients.

    Excellence Mohs surgery and following wound care. Dr. Paul Bowman has performed three surgeries for me on sun damaged skin on my cheek, nose, and recently my left hand. The surgeries were painless and done in a sterile operating room. There is no evidence of the surgery or scarring. The results were perfect. I highly recommend the practice.

    Had Mohs surgery on my nose. 76, have had numerous skin cancers including stage 4 melanoma. Never have I been in any surgery center like this. First get this clear Dr Bowman is incredible both for his surgery skills and an office/surgery center beyond any medical facility I have experienced. Soon as you walk in stress disappears. The aquariums and pictures etc are incredible. Go to one of the patient rooms and the music and tvs with sea life, from sea turtles to seals put you in a different world. Will cut this short, the surgery room etc is something out of the future. Sit in a very comfortable chair, next thing you know it becomes the surgery bed. A wall moves and you hear the air and protective vacuum seal. Many more positives, dont go anywhere else. I am healed, the skin graph , stitches all healed. My primary doctor said she cant tell I ever had surgery.

    You cannot find a more professional, caring, friendly doctor and staff than this group of medical people! He was my dermatologist when he came to Plant City, Florida where I lived. When the time was right for him to open his own practice, he moved to Tampa, Florida to his beautiful Seascape office. I followed him when I had another skin issue. I am 89 years old and he has treated me and several of our girls and many, many friends. We have received the best care and still choose to drive on I-4 when we need him!! I am recovering from MOS surgery as I write this and scheduled for more in October. This is the dermatologist you need if/when you have skin problems!! Hildred Cliburn

    I had a really bad experience with a Doctor in Inverness, Florida. I had Melanoma on my left cheek. When it was all over I was left with a bad scar. Someone told me to go see Dr. Paul Bowman because he could repair my face and he did. But he also found two more spots one on each cheek. He operated on me again he has magical hands when both were complete you can’t even tell he had cut me . I highly recommend him.

    I was very impressed with The Bowman Institute. The offices are very nice, the staff is wonderful and Dr. Bowman did a great job. The pre-surgery evaluation meeting was very thorough and answered all my questions. The surgery itself was relatively comfortable and professionally executed. The staff was very attentive. If you have to have skin cancer surgery, Mohs is the way to go.

    Both my husband and I had excellent experiences with Dr. Bowman and his staff. We were both diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma - his on his nose and mine on my scalp. We were referred to Dr. Bowman for Mohs surgery and both our experiences were excellent from beginning to end. Dr. Bowman is very professional yet extremely personable. He explained the process every step of the way and answered any questions we had. The entire staff was also very kind and professional and made us feel very comfortable. Dr. Bowman does amazing work - Im only 5 days post surgery and I can barely see where my incision was made! I highly recommend The Bowman Institute.

    I just had my third MOHS procedure by Dr. Bowman. As a medical doctor I am very observant of how the patients are treated. Every employee from the friendly receptionist to several nurses and assistants were very kind, considerate and compassionate. Dr. Bowman a true physician. He treats every patient like a friend and his surgical skills are exceptional. As a physician I have recommended countless patients to him and have heard no complaints. At no time did I experience pain or discomfort.

    When I got diagnosed with DFSP I was terrified. I was calling around to see if I could get in somewhere soon and This office is an absolute masterclass of patient care. From Tara and the front to all the nurses to the surgical techs. Dr. Bowman is incredibly nice and understanding. His chairside manner is next to none.     My recent treatment at the Bowman Institute is one of the best healthcare experiences I’ve had in over a decade. As a well-traveled individual, I have been all over the world and can say that this facility is exceptional compare to the many others Ive been to.     I have had two procedures at The Bowman Institute and was completely satisfied with both. The staff is polite, professional and well trained. You can spend a full day there and while I was tired and grouchy at 5:00PM the staff remained attentive and friendly, taking care to ensure that I was properly bandaged and given detailed home care instruction. Definitely recommend them.

    I searched out Dr. Bowman and have no regrets. I had Mohs surgery at another derm. 2 years ago and it left a dime size white spot on the top of my head after healing. When I got another Basil-right in the middle of my forehead. I was concerned. Surgery was 2 mos. ago and everyone I talk to says they wouldnt have known it was there if I didnt point it out. I couldnt be happier and highly recommend him and his staff, who by the way were extremely capable and friendly. PS - I drove 45 minutes to go there and will be going back regularly. Worth every mile.

    FANTASTIC Doctor and staff!!! Being in procedures can be stressful..especially if one is unfamiliar with health field. This is the one place that actually explains WHAT will be done prior to doing it. I have had broken bones, surgeries... Most others start working before explaining the procedure and discomfort which may be involved. Dr Bowman and staff are VERY thoughtful and kind, explaining everything ahead of time. Dr. Bowman is an ARTIST at what he does..i have NO scar! He is AMAZING! Staff is as well. The Bowman Institute has my highest recommendations!     I have never been treated or felt more confident in a doctor or staff than at The Bowman Institute. Paul Bowman is the most thorough and meticulous practioner I have ever seen. He is a very gifted dermatologist and cancer specialist. The staff are well trained and professional. He is one of the last not joining a group so as to provide what he feels is the standard of care that he can control, not some group business model. I cannot recommend a doctor or facility more than this office. If you have or want to be diagnosed expertly along with a treatment plan, than this is the doctor. The facility is state of the art and the care is expert.

    I highly encourage you to contact the Bowman institute if you need skin checks, or even surgery due to cancer. He has been my Dr. for years and it has always been so great. Several years ago, had skin cancer on my face. He did a fantastic job of removing it that years later you still cant see the scar! Since then I go once a year for a skin check. It is very thorough and informative procedures, quick and easy! Everyone is friendly and professional.

    The Bowman Institute is an amazing medical facility. The doctor and his staff are incredibly smart, caring and thorough. I have been there many times and always have great results. I have referred many friends and family members to them as well. The facility is beautiful too, relaxing salt water fish tanks and videos everywhere to relax you as you are examined and treated for skin issues. Their prices are reasonable as well.     Great results which is most important thing IMO. Dr Bowmans 9 years of post graduate training plus years of experience paid off for me!! Great staff, super supportive and very kind, which is next most important thing for me. Its not yet been two weeks, and you can barely see that there was any work at all. Overall superior experience--only drawback was surgery 2 days before hurricane so somewhat restricted in getting ready for it on my farm. Thanks everyone.

    Dr. Bowman is an extremely qualified and caring surgeon! I had to have Mohs surgery on my nose. Everyone I came in contact with was caring and explained each step of the process. You can’t even tell that I had surgery.The office is really nice with two huge aquariums filled with colorful fish and various sea life. My husband and I both go regularly for health checks and never have to wait long and are always treated extremely well. Unusually patient friendly ❤️

    Ive been a patient of Dr. Bowmans for 15 plus years. Great place to get treatment for skin cancer -- I should know, as Ive had dozens of them. He is a genius at wound closure; after a week or two, you never even know there was a tumor removal. Recommend highly and without reservation.

    The nurse, Sarah is just wonderful! Shes very professional and knowledgeable. She has such a great bedside manner!     OMG what a great experience. Who can say that when you have to go to the DR to remove a cancer? Excellent staff from the moment you enter the facility.They take care of all your needs and are seriously concerned for your well being. Dr Bowman is great. Professional. Very knowledgeable. After the surgery I was concerned about the scar that may be left on my face. Dr Bowmans skill level was evident when the bandages were removed and there was no sign of a scar. Perfect.     My husband and I have been going to Dr. Bowman for a couple of years. We literaly have all of our family going to him and that is how we found about him and the great work he does. The family consist of 2 brothers, 1 sister, their spouses and all our children. There has always been nothing but compliments for Dr. Bowman and his staff.     Ive been a patient here for several years and have been well cared for. The clinic is staffed by caring professionals. Dr Bowman recently did surgery on my nose to excise a Basel cell tumor. He previously performed surgery on my forehead for a large Basel cell tumor. It required 4 sessions with extensive tumor tissue removed. Cosmetically, the outcome was amazing, with virtually no noticeable scarring.

    Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Having Mohs surgery is a bit scary the first time and they make sure you know what they are doing every step of the way. From a results perspective, my surgery required the equivalent of about 20 stitches on my face and i had ZERO scarring. Cant argue with that!!!

    Ive had a couple of skin cancer procedures by Dr. Bowman prior to moving about 90 minutes from Tampa approximately two years ago. With my history I made a point to have regular exams by a local Dermatologist, but when I had a concern with the skin condition in one of the previous treatment sites I decided to return to Dr. Bowman for his review. During his exam he noted that the skin condition was nothing to worry about. Dr. Bowman proceeded to examine my neck and back and found a suspicious mark on my neck. He immediately did a biopsy which turned out to be melanoma. How could my local Dermatologist miss that during my previous exams. Im very thankful that I decided to go back to Dr. Bowman for my exams and treatment.

    I certainly feel blessed that I was recommended to go to Dr. Bowman, at The Bowman Institute. I was very hesitant when I learned I may have to spend six or more hours at his office to have the Mohs procedure, to remove skin cancer on my face. I must say they made me feel so comfortable, they offered me drinks, peanut butter crackers cookies I don’t remember what else, and I could leave if I wanted to as long as I was back when they called me to proceed with the procedure, I don’t know what I was expecting, except when I left there in the afternoon I was a little shook up to see that I had such a long incision right in the center of my cheek. I kept thinking what an awful scar I’m going to have on my face, .Let me tell you I was so wrong. Every day when I changed the bandage and cleaned it, it looked better, and now you cannot even tell where the procedure was. As I said I feel so blessed. And while Dr. Bowman is doing this procedure he’s talking to you the entire time making you feel very comfortable. His entire staff is excellent, from the time you walk in the door, they check you in, until the time you leave.
