I never treat myself so I decided to take a risk and book an appointment for a long length haircut. First time going to Dolce Vita Salon in Winter Park. I was completely impressed by Justine. She was such a good vibe. Very informative and professional. Made me feel comfortable that I made my next appointment right then in there. Before and after. The picture doesn’t do it justice but I get so many compliments. Pretty Rockin Roll 🤘🏼

Updated 10/22-it was my turn and Narciso is that guy, he makes it happen ! I LOVE MY HAIR we didn’t think it was gonna be this red since my hair is so black from box dye but he did it !! I’m so amazed how beautiful it came out ❤️🖤Narciso was fantastic! I booked my son an appt which was so easy and I love That they reached out to me to know what he was going for and what he currently looked so they could put him with the right stylist and I was not disappointed, it came out awesome my son is so in love with it . He went in a hot mess and came out looking handsome. In my son’s words “ I feel so much confident “ he won’t stop taking pictures and he will look great for picture day . Can’t wait for my turn now :)

Loved it. The vibes of the salon in Winter Park amazing. I booked my appointment with Narcizo. I have a lot of hair long and damaged, plus I came that day with 6 inches of virgin root full of gray hair. I give him 10 of 10 in cut, highlights, color and a challenging blow-dry.Definitely I recommend his services. Thank you .

I went in for a consultation about what I wanted to do with my hair next and was helped by Jenicka. She was absolutely amazing! After the consultation, she saw that her next appointment cancelled and she was able to get me in right away for the haircut. My hair was so lifeless and dead on the ends before and she added some chunky layers and got rid of a majority of my split ends without sacrificing too much length. She is a great conversationalist and makes you feel at home. I can’t wait to go back. The salon itself is clean and contains a lot of good products. The pricing is a little high but for the experience, I would do it all again. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

I booked this salon on a whim and I’m so glad I did! My appointment was for a medium length hair cut and I selected the first available appointment online when booking. My stylist was Narciso and he was amazing. I went in with the hopes of keeping the same length I had just needed a trim and long layers with shorter pieces framing my face. I shared pictures with the stylist and he was able to deliver exactly what I wanted. He is super experienced and took his time cutting my hair which I appreciate. If you’re looking for an excellent stylist and a cute welcoming salon give them a try.

Booked an appointment with Katherine and could not be more pleased with my experience. Not only was she professional, but she made me feel so comfortable from the minute I sat in the chair. I haven’t been to a stylist in a long time since moving to Florida, as it’s hard to not only find one with professionalism, but also one I am comfortable with to tackle my curls and coils. She did GREAT with my textured hair and truly made sure I was pleased with my experience. I will absolutely be returning.PS: Super cute, clean, and enjoyable environment. Tl;dr: Booked with Nataly for my first curly cut. I got an amazing cut and great advice for styling (I have thick and coarse curly hair). I enjoyed the salon and working with Nataly, and I will definitely return in a few months for a trim! Thanks Dolce Vita and Nataly for the cut and newfound confidence. 🫶🏽I came in for my first “curly cut” after a friend recommended Nataly to me. I’d done my research about curly haircuts and was excited to have my first done. I checked out Nataly’s Instagram (NatalyNewLooks) and saw that she clearly had lots of experience cutting curly hair of different textures, lengths, and curl types, ranging from fine to coarse, thin to thick, and wavy to kinky.So I booked my “first visit” appointment, which was 90 minutes (1.5 hours), including the consultation, cut, and styling. It cost me $125 for the appointment, which is more than I’m used to paying for my barber since I have shorter hair. But let me tell you that it was worth every single penny!Nataly basically gave me a Masterclass on caring for my particular hair, which is thick, coarse, and curly. She helped me determine shape, styled my hair, and gave me recommendations for products and tips for styling at home. She even filled out a card with products and styling advice, which I found both helpful and cute. 🥰Nataly was so friendly and kind and put me at ease (I’m a shy, introverted, anxious person by nature). She not only listened to my vague ramblings about what I wanted and made it happen, but she also gave me valuable haircare advice that is life-changing. Is that a little dramatic??? Maybe. 😂 But as I’ve been on my curly hair journey, I’ve tried so many products (and spent so much money on them) trying to figure out what works for me. I would’ve saved lots of money had I come to Dolce Vita to see Nataly earlier in my curly hair journey.The salon is also gorgeous! And all the staff were super friendly. 😊 For anyone with curly hair, I cannot recommend Nataly highly enough. Since getting my haircut and learning about products and styling, I have not had a single bad hair day—legit not one. And for my curly heads out there, you know that everyday is a whole new adventure when morning comes. 😅The products Nataly suggested were sold at the salon, but I didn’t feel pressured to buy them there. The products were also relatively inexpensive, which was a relief to find out. Dolce Vita price matches competitors, and I found the recommended products at Ulta for $2 less each, so the salon wasn’t charging a massive premium.I will definitely be returning in 3 months for a trim. I’m the type of person that, once I find a stylist that is experienced and that I like, I’ll follow them to a different state for a haircut if necessary. 😌 Nataly is definitely my new go-to stylist. Thanks so much for the haircut and styling advice, and above all, for instilling within me greater confidence about caring for my 3b/3c curly hair!

Went to Ash to get super dreamy hair! Scheduled the consultation and came back a couple weeks later. Everyone at the salon was very sweet and professional. Ash did an amazing job and is very good at walking through the process youre going through with your hair. I went to her because I knew I needed to go to someone with color correction expertise to get me to my hair goals and Im in love with the results!

After my stylist was leaving the salon, I was referred to Michael! And I was NOT disappointed. Michael made me feel like an absolute goddess. They were friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about how to repair my very damaged blonde hair. They were extremely patient with my long hair that had not been cut or colored in over a year. This was by far the best cut and color I have received in my life. I didn’t know which stylist to select so I got paired up with Lauren Van Bleek. I feel like I hit the jackpot because Lauren is fantastic. She is an experienced color specialist that worked at the prestigious Maxine’s in Chicago. She is dedicated to giving her clients the hair color of my dreams. Lauren doesn’t settle for simple foils, she uses techniques to give hair texture and she made sure to make my ends bright. Lauren is fantastic, and I am so glad I found her.

WOW!! Where do I even begin? I’ve gone through a huge transition in my life the past few years and have gone from waist length hair to shoulder length. I’ve struggled immensely in finding the right hair salon to make me feel 100% satisfied with my haircut.I am originally from Michigan and moved to Florida 2 years ago. It’s been tempting to fly back to Michigan, to my hometown salon, every time I need a new cut. Trying to find a place in Florida that I’d be satisfied with proved to be challenging.One day I decided to try out Dolce Vita Salon after I did a lot of research on salons within the area. I highly admire Ruby Rose and really wanted to get a pixie cut like her. And wow! What a great experience from Dolce Vita Salon and Christina H!! She was absolutely amazing! I’m not the kind of person that ever writes reviews. But she did such a great job. She helped texture my hair and even styled it after the cut to make sure it looked like how I wanted it. She took so much care into my look. I am soooo happy with my stylist. I highly recommend this place. Definitely worth the money!!

If you have curly hair you have GOT to see Heather. She is amazing! I got my first Deva cut today and she explained everything about the process. She left me with amazing curls and the confidence to take care of them on my own. It wasnt only Heather that made this the greatest cut and style ever, the salon staff is very welcoming too. The atmosphere is comfortable yet trendy and the washing stations are great, I didnt have to lay all the way down or rest my neck in an uncomfortable position while she washed my hair out! I needed to get my hair done asap so I booked an appointment on their online booking system. At that point I did not mind who would do my hair as everyone in the salon seemed to be very good at what they do (I had looked at their works on various social media sites). I was contacted to let me know that Heather Ford was going to be my stylist and they moved my appointment an hour earlier to be sure that I would get enough time to get my hair done.To get to the point, Heather is AMAZING. She truly cares about the health of my hair. I have had my hair done before (balayage and have gotten VERY light in just 1 session - mind you, I have typical black Asian hair, which due to the bleaching process damaged my hair). She told me straight up that to keep my hair healthy she would not make me go any lighter, which I appreciate because this told me that she isnt interested in just making $$ off of me, but that she wants me to be satisfied AND have healthy, damage-free hair. She took her time and was NOT rushing at all. She is so friendly and really cares for her clients.She was able to get rid of my orange hair (which happens to Asian hair when trying to go lighter) and gave me an amazing neutral/sandy beige color.We will go lighter (but not to the point of damaging my hair), but gradually and in the healthy way!I highly recommend Heather!!!

I see Heather Ford for a DevaCurl Haircut. She is amazing!!! I absolutely recommend her to anyone with curly hair. (She does other beautiful hairstyles, but I can only share about my experience!) It was my first time getting a Deva haircut in July 2017. I wanted to try going to a Deva Hairstylist, because they are more experienced with curly hair. Heather was so nice and patient with me for my first visit. I was nervous since it was my first time trying this cut. She listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job! I went back a second time this week (Oct. 2017), and love it even more! Remember, the full outcome of your hairstyle is when you go home and it is fully dried and bouncy. Heather knows what shes doing, trust her! Also, the salon is beautiful and gives you free coffee/water/drinks while there.

She also gives me little styling hints that are amazing. The salon itself is very minimalist and the location is great. My family will follow Christina H to wherever she goes. She is so great at getting to know you and how you want your hair. She is so easy to talk to and is flexible to get you what you want. The salon is clean and trendy. The WP location is so great with the little park, brewery, and coffee shop next door.

Handled with care !Great Salon, very professional, every stylist has their own booth and modern hairstyling tools. Christina did a good job shaping my out of shape quarantined look. I have fine hair and sensitive scalp and she is the ONLY hairdresser in my entire life who did not tug, pull or hurt in anyway. She was extremely gentle. Took my permission before using a little bit of product before styling. Thanks Christina ! They also gave a little cute bag with sample hair products.

I am VERY skeptical when getting my hair cut. I usually go 18 months to 2 years in between cuts because Im always nervous about trusting someone to cut it! I stumbled upon Dolce Vita and after reading the reviews/looking at their instagram, I decided to make an appointment. I asked for someone who was great with really long & curly hair. I had an appointment with Siobhan and Im SO glad I did! She listened to everything I wanted and eased my mind/anxiety about getting my hair cut. She gave me so many great tips and also wrote down all the products she used on my hair. She didnt push the products on me to purchase (which I appreciate!), but recommended products she thought would do well with my hair type, style, etc. She made me feel very comfortable while at the salon - I will definitely be back when I need my hair cut and Siobhan has a gained a new loyal customer for sure!

I followed Michael Rains from another salon to Dolce Vita Salon in Winter Park because he is an amazing stylist and colorist. He loves his work and pays attention to his clients preferences. He is very versatile and can do probably any style or color you want. When I go, Im there for almost three hours, but the time goes by very quickly because Michael is also very personable and a really nice guy. The interior design of the salon is great and the staff is helpful and friendly. Thankfully, Michael is a lot younger than I am and wont retire anytime soon. Thanks, Michael!

I absolutely love this salon! I’ve gone for several years now and Ashley G. always gives me amazing color and cut. I’ve lived in the area for 5.5 years and it took me a while to find the right salon and stylist but I came here first when my hair was crazy damaged somewhere else and she really helped my hair get back on track. I would recommend this salon to anyone and I feel the pricing is also fair compared to general salon cost for the service provided. Definitely worth a visit!

Jessica is an absolute professional and knows what works for your hair. She got my quarantined hair back in shape. She gives you great tips on what products to use and how to style your wavy hair. Getting a hair cut is always such a traumatic experience for me. I have never been able to find a good stylist... When I moved to Orlando I thought it would be so much easier being a bigger city than Clermont. I am so glad I found this place. I shaved half of my head a year ago and want my long hair back... Based on other peoples reviews, I had a consultation, then cut, color & highlights with Clint. I am really, really happy with how my hair turned out. He took care of some gray that has recently appeared, and gave me peek-a-boo highlights. Now I have the brightness I want, without the harsh line when the highlights grow out. Color treatments at my previous salon always irritated my scalp. But whatever product Clint used didnt bother me at all.Also, in my consultation Clint wrote down what the cost of my service would be. Sure enough, that is exactly what I was charged when I was there, even though I think he spent a bit more time than anticipated. I appreciated the fact that there were no surprise charges at the end of the visit. The only surprise was how great my hair looked (and still does.)

I got my hair colored here for the first time and Jess H was awesome.She listened to what I asked for and it could not have come out any better. I went for a dark black dye with a blue-ish tint to it. Ive tried to have this done at several other salons in the past and it never came out quite right. This was the first time Ive left a salon and felt like they did exactly what I had pictured in my head beforehand. Dolce Vita also uses high quality products (Oribe, Bumble & Bumble, etc) and that makes a huge difference. Would definitely recommend!

Hi Readers!!! I just wanna tell you truly the best colorist/hairstylist I ever had is “STAR” I was so happy with my results. STAR truly cares about the health of your hair and makes sure you like what you see. I was not disappointed at all and I have been disappointed in the past for a long time at other salons that I even got to think at one point that it was maybe my hair not taking the products or something. But obviously I wasn’t that I just needed an expert a professional someone like STAR that cares about the health, color and the happiness your hair can bring you when is done the right way. I first came to her when she was working at another salon and I had completely botched my hair from boxed dye. Just went to Dolce Vita for the first time and I am SO happy I did. A little background: my former stylist in Jacksonville ruined my hair. Like, fried it. I have been terrified of getting my hair done since (that was in October), so I have just been walking around like a hideous beastie. I just moved to the Orlando area and decided to give Dolce Vita a chance. The receptionist (super sweet and accommodating) listened to my traumatic hair story and immediately paired me with Heather. THANK THE HEAVENS FOR HEATHER! Not only did she work me into her busy schedule last notice, she took the time to talk with me about my options. Heather was super direct and realistic about what could and couldn’t be done to my hair. She chose to do a “color melt” on my hair to help blend my natural hair with my bleach damaged hair and to correct the color. And let me tell you, it looks PHENOMENAL. Heather seriously worked a miracle. The cut is also super cute and lightweight.Also, I have naturally dark auburn hair. Nobody has EVER been able to correctly match my natural color, but Heather did. I’m amazed.TL;DR Go see Heather!

I was recommended to Rachel at Dolce Vita Salon in Winter Park by fellow vintage lovers that I found on Instagram while I was searching for someone who could do my hair exactly how I wanted it for my wedding. After having my hair done the first time, I was just absolutely floored!! It was so beautiful! Between the trial and my actual wedding day, I cut off 4 inches of my hair, and Rachel made it WERK. I felt absolutely beautiful. She was so helpful, she even provided us with the product we needed to prep our hair with the night before. She did both me and my wifes hair.
