Miss Karla flipped my nail world upside down and I couldn’t thank her enough! Not only was she a fantastic educator when it came to technique and making sure I had every bit of knowledge i’d need, but she constantly pushed me to better myself in ways I never thought i’d be able to achieve. There were plenty of times when I doubted myself through out the process but she never allowed that to go on for long. I don’t think i’d be half the nail technician I am now without her encouragement in my love for creativity in nail art and her extensive knowledge. Whether it was a question relating to the actual application process or the business end of things, Miss Karla was always there to lend a helping hand. If you’re lucky enough to get her as your teacher, you’re in for a wonderful time getting your education!

I took the Nail Technician Course and it has been the best 2 1/2 months of my life. All the staff is very welcoming. Ms Delilah was very informative when meeting with her about the course. Mrs Morales is an amazing teacher and pushed me to do my best even when I didn’t know I could. She is very well spoken and gives a lot of 1on1 examples. Being here I found another family, you become close with the classmates and teachers. Everyone helps each other no matter how long you’ve been practicing. I did wish the owners should’ve replaced or fixed the pedicure chairs so I and many students could practice and progress in our pedicure skills better. Besides that I loved the experience and this has been the quickest process in getting my nail license. Thank you! 😊@binksnailz

Not matter what you are going through, this school will be right next to you no matter what. I’ve had many thing to on. And they were nothing but understanding and helpful. I thank them for that! I am a graduate of the Florida Beauty Academy. The distance was not a problem for me to train and achieve my goals. I live in Jacksonville and every Monday I travel to receive the nail technician class in Spanish. This class is face-to-face on Mondays and Tuesdays. The teacher Karla was paramount in my performance because she was in charge of making me want to return to class every week without fail. Professor Karla, in addition to having great human qualities, is an excellent professional and a teacher at what she does. If you really want to learn new theories and techniques, she is the one to guide you! Now I have my own nail studio and I am so grateful to have the best teacher and the best friend! She is always willing to listen and help you with whatever you ask, in addition to always having an answer for everything. It is an excellent resource for the school.As for the school itself, it definitely needs to be remodeled in every way. From the bathrooms, the exteriors and interiors. The facilities should be more secure... I hope they can remodel because the first impression counts. Also, I recommend that graduations can be held for girls, they should consider it.

This school is amazing! I went to several open house schools before selecting this one. Several things immediately jumped out at me that I loved. The class size is great for one on ones. The student to teacher ratio for the nail tech side is perfect. Ms. Morales was amazing during the open house tour I did. She was very welcoming and gave me great pointers just from the tour alone. I signed up that very day! I knew I found my school and need not look further! Fast forward to my first day I was surprised with none other than with Ms. Morales being MY TEACHER!! I was super stoked! She is very organized and has an itinerary for the entire day, and sticks to it! I got a lot of hands on teaching along with one on ones when I needed it most. The entirety of my curriculum Ms. Morales was nothing but amazing, detailed, patient, and super helpful when I was having a difficult time grasping certain concepts. Today is my final day as a student and it’s such a bittersweet moment. She is not your average teacher, she becomes a close friend! I have had the most fun, good times, laughs and some frustrating days ( with myself) in this journey and to graduate feels wrong leaving Ms. Morales and my classmates behind. I am excited to start the next stage in my career but I will MOST DEFINITELY be returning here and there to visit Ms. Morales! At FAB, Florida Academy of Beauty, you arrive as a student and leave as family! I will recommend you making this school!!!!

I am currently enrolled in this school and it was by far the best decision! The teacher Mrs. Morales is helpful but does not hover, which I LOVE! She allows you to make your mistakes but will 100% come over and help you if/when you need it, as long as you communicate with her your needs. Ms. Lilly from esthetics and Ms. Delilah are also wonderful! The students are eclectic and encouraging! Im going to be sad once I leave. Ive never been one to want to stay in school but, here I am soaking up all the information l can! Just know that this school is SELF DRIVEN! So as much as you put in is what you will get back!

Mrs. Null is the sweetest teacher ever. I have learned so much from her during my time at this school. She takes her time with everyone and makes sure that everyone understands, she will do a one-on-one to make sure you understand. I was unsure about doing an extraction but Mrs. Null talked me through and helped me so much. Truly, she is a blessing to this school. I have told so many people about Mrs. Null and they all want to sign up to be in her class. My daughter came in to help me with my services for class and she had such a great experience she wants to sign up for the program as well. I truly enjoyed my experience here at Florida academy of beauty and I strongly recommend this school to anyone interested in finding a quality beauty school program to enroll in.The program is very flexible & has online education opportunities that worked really well with my constantly changing work schedule . The program also covered a multitude of topics and services to help adequately prepare you to work in the esthetics field .I had the pleasure of being enrolled in the Wednesday/Thursday esthetics program taught by Ms.lily. Ms.lily is knowledgeable, professional , caring and very patient . She kept the lessons interesting & also taught the material in a way that made it easy to comprehend and retain .She also is someone that I would describe as “easily approachable “ . I felt comfortable coming to her for any and every question I had or if I needed additional information on any topic she had covered that I didn’t quite understand.I was completely new to the beauty industry when I first enrolled but now that it’s time for graduation I have the education , skills and confidence to flourish in my new career. Great experience, loved Ms.Morales she really cares about the success of her students Not just professionally but personally. Makes the class feel like a comfortable place to learn whole having a lot of fun. We went on field trips to the supply store, which was really helpful because those places can be very intimidating just starting out. We play games to help us pass the final and she makes sure you always have the support you need to pass.

Im enrolled in the full specialist program, and just finished the esthetics portion. It was the best decision I have made! I went to Aveda Institute previously and it was an absolute nightmare. In addition to FAB being significantly more affordable than Aveda, the classes are flexible, you are not pressured to sell product, youre not forced to take clients you dont want to work with, the instructors are professional, and the students are very encouraging of one another.
