    Carly was AMAZING! First time having my hair done in 2+ years and I’ve never been happier! My hair is still super healthy!! She’s extremely personal and such a fun spirit! She added in some of her personal creativity and I loved it!! She is beyond good at what she does! I felt so welcomed throughout the whole salon! Truly an amazing community there!! Can not wait to go back!!

    It was my first time with Heather and I am very pleased with the results. I just got a roots retouch because that was what I needed the most, but I’m going back in two weeks to get my highlights done. 😍 Beautiful Customer Service, gorgeous facility which it’s very important for me because it makes me feel Important.Heather is very sweet and professional, and she made sure that I explained to her exactly what I wanted. She seems very knowledgeable and I can’t wait to go back for my highlights.Also, at Gaboa Salon they have a very friendly staff. This place is located in the heart of downtown Clearwater and I feel like it’s a hidden gem.     I had an amazing experience getting my hair cut and beard trimmed by Jameel at the salon. The atmosphere was clean, bright, and friendly. Jameel was a craftsman the way he listened to what I desired and worked to make my vision become a reality. He was fun and energetic while he cut my hair and trimmed my beard.     This salon is a hidden gem. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. Autumn did an amazing job on my color and Olivia worked wonders on my brows. I also really appreciated the guidance I received because sometimes I dont know what always suites me. Cant wait to go back.

    Heather!!! You saved my sanity and my hair. Ive been coloring my hair since I was 15, 60 now. Several times Id have it professionally colored and felt like I was wasting my money, because it wasnt better then when I did my own hair, until I met Heather. I had just gotten through 2 hurricanes, flooded house and was beyond stressed and exhausted. I was in desperate need of coloring my hair, but absolutely did not feel like doing it myself. I called Salon Gaboa and they told me to come in for an afternoon appointment with Heather. Was I nervous, yesss!!! I walked in and was warmly greeted by Heather and her lovely smile. Heather was exactly what I needed, she was kind, patient, great listeners as to what I wanted in my hair color and she was confident. She just had this way about her, that completely put me at ease. Heather gave me the best color Ive ever had!!! It was perfect!!! I now feel like its worth having my hair professionally colored. I will definitely be having Heather color my from now on. Ive also been cutting my own hair for 5 years and maybe Ill let Heather cut my hair too. Baby steps!! Thank you Heather for making my hair look amazing, during an extremely stress time in my life.     I had never gone to this salon before and absolutely LOVED IT! I got my hair cut and colored by Alex and she was incredible. Before she even touched my hair, she took the time to let me explain exactly what my vision was and asked questions so she understood. I could not recommend Alex or Salon Gaboa more. When I got to see the final product I was so happy, it was exactly what I wanted and more. I don’t live in Tampa, but wish I did so I could come back again and again. This was the best cut and color I’ve ever had. Thank you Alex and Salon Gaboa!!!

    Autumn was fabulous! Her enthusiasm for working with her clients was truly special. Her genuine excitement about how she could help me was very uncommon. I was way past due for a cut and color and because of had to do my own a few times, she had some fixing to do too lol. I was super happy with the experience. I found my girl!

    Autumn is phenomenal!!! I absolutely loved the salon and the ladies are amazing! Sarah’s energy was so much fun! Olivia does amazing facials and I also got my eyebrows tinted and I’m in love!!! Absolutely obsessed with this salon and will be recommending them to everyone!!! I’ll be back! 10/10 hands down!

    Bridget, Laney, Annie and Christine did a fantastic job of welcoming me. Christine styled my hair just the way I like it. I was a walk-in, but Ill be back again. You get a $25 gift when you refer a friend and the friend gets $20 off their service. The salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Can’t edit to “Closed” for some reason.

    I did a very poor job of explaining what I was looking for in a style. My hair can be straight or curly, depending on how it is cut and styled. Cassie understood better than I could explain, and my hairstyle turned out perfectly. I was also getting a lot of hair trimmed off and thought she could go shorter and thank goodness she did not. As it dried, it shrunk up about three more inches, because the curls were shrinking the length as my hair dried. Thank you so much! N

    I called them in desperation to have my hair colored prior to an unexpected funeral. The Salon was so accommodating and so helpful!Autumn cut colored and highlighted my hair. She was fantastic and the office manager was incredibly professional and Sweet I would highly recommend the salon.

    I am visiting from the Boston area and really needed a haircut. All the staff was so friendly and kind. Sarah took me in and made my hair look amazing!!! I have layers and curtain bangs, but never know how to express exactly what I want, and she did a fantastic job asking the right questions to understand/help decide what kind of curtain bangs and what I wanted out of the layers. I love her hair cutting technique that makes the ends look more natural and tapered instead of blunt chopped edges at the end. She also blow dried it so perfectly (usually after hair cuts I go and redo my own hair because I don’t like how flat they make it — she gave me volume, shine, slight beachy waves and bounce) One of the best haircuts of my life. I cannot say enough good things!

    I love Sarah. Shes the best. She always does whats best for my hair. She tells me if my hair can handle it or if its not a good idea, she suggests alternatives and is super helpful. Everyone is nice, but shes my girl.

    Gaboa Salon is a lovely salon! Its one of the cleanest, friendliest, client-oriented salons I have ever visited! I used this salon while wintering for two months in Clearwater three years ago and again this past February. Lisa was my stylist and I couldnt be happier with her style and cut as well as color. She worked very hard to cover a stubborn cowlick that few stylists have had success with. She listened intently to what I wanted and didnt fail to deliver. Bridget who owns this salon is very friendly and accommodating. She has excellent help in Peyton who runs the front desk and lends extraordinary help in seeing to the needs of both stylists and clients. As well, Lilly is a delightful gal who also works the front desk and handles appointments. The only thing that would make me happier is if this salon were located in my hometown.

    Jackie gave me a deep cleaning and a hydrating facial. Also, a hand and neck massage. Everything was fantastic. She was terrific i left with my skin flowing and very relaxed . I cant wait to go back

    I’ve been coming to Salon Gaboa for several years now.I’ve had a few misses with hair cuts and color but after trying other salons I’ve given it another chance.I will now only get my hair color done by Autumn and haircut by Dan. Highly recommend them both!

    Ellie always finds time to tint and shape my eyebrows when Im in the salon for my regular color/cut appointment. Shes always willing to adapt between the two stylist I use for my hair and I appreciate it so much. Very polite and professional and I would recommend anyone to visit Salon Gaboa Aveda and check it out.I love not only how I look but most important how I feel when I leave.

    Dan is one of the best hairstylists I have ever been to. He took my chemically damaged hair and made me feel like a normal person again with one haircut. I am thrilled to have found a hairstylist that I can look forward to going to time and time again. Everyone was so incredibly nice in the salon from the moment I walked into the door until I left. The salon is very professional and cool, but not at all intimidating or stuck up. I would give the salon even more stars if I could.

    Great little hair salon. Everyone is super friendly and they will do whatever they can to make you happy. In addition, this salon owner is very caring and does her best to make her salon stand out from the rest. I came in a little concerned bc of my hair and left happy.     I went in to get a haircut from master stylist Dan and omg one of the best experiences of my life!! I haven’t gotten a professional haircut in probably 10 years and went in with a few reference photos to get an idea of what i wanted. The consultation itself got me beyond excited to see what my haircut was going to be. I chopped about 18 inches off my hair and have never been so happy with the results. AMAZINGGGG OVERALL EXPERIENCE. Everyone in the salon was beyond friendly and so sweet. Will definitely be going back. Would recommend this salon to any person in the area HANDS DOWN.

    Salon Gaboa has been my go to salon for many years. All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the salon is very clean. Valmira has been my usual stylist for quite some time now and she always does a great job. I love how she does the cut exactly how I want it done. Also recently did highlights for me and they turned out great. Would definitely recommend to a friend

    So where do you start with compliments for the best service experience from the moment you walk in the door to the time you get in your car. My appointment was at 1630 an I walked in at 1600 and they greeted me so pleasantly with a cup of tea. My stylist was Jimmy who was an absolute charm. He was so easy to talk with and was very interactive with his knowledge and suggestions on how to manage and maintain your hair. All of the girls in there were absolutely amazing. I walked in on my day off /vacation and looked half homeless but yet they still made me feel like a 1%er when offering services and their conversations with you. If you are tired of searching for a beautiful local salon or just want to treat yourself to a new place and group of outgoing individuals, I HIGHLY suggest stopping by Salon Gaboa.Thank you Team and I cannot wait to get my highlights in a couple weeks!

    It was such a pleasure getting my hair done at Salon Gaboa with Christine! I came in initially for a haircut and hair dusting, with the hopes of her having a slot available to possibly try for the first time the Keratin Treatment. I was fortunate to be able to get the treatment. Christine answered all my questions and was very helpful. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a very enjoyable experience.     Would highly recommend anyone going here!!!! A friend and I came to the area for business and wanted to get our hair done. We had limited time and Paul went above and beyond to get us in and make sure we had a fabulous experience!! We couldnt be happier! The staff is beyond nice and very helpful. Everyone we spoke to went above and beyond! I got my hair done by Chantelle and would send anyone and everyone to see her! She did a great job and was so much fun!     Had an amazing experience here! I was advised not to perm my hair by Lisa because I had previous lightener in my hair. Alex then proceeded to cut my hair, do a deep conditioning treatment and then styled my hair. It came out amazing! Highly recommended

    Me and my significant other went here for a women and mens hair cut. I was scheduled with Brandy while my boyfriend was with Jenna. We both agreed that this was a wonderful experience. I went in with extreme anxiety from a previous salon. Brandy was kind, understanding, and she took the time to walk me through her process. Jenna did a great job with my partners hair, and gave him a modern, classy cut. In the end, we both walked out with smiles and great styles that flattered us. I will definitely be returning here.

    I’ve been a customer of Salon Gaboa for years, and it’s the best salon I’ve ever used. Their stylists and nail techs are total professionals.Before I started going to Salon Gaboa, I asked my assistant at the time, who was herself a hair stylist, to find a really good stylist for me in Clearwater. She was extremely particular about hair cutting technique, having been a stylist at the Vidal Sassoon salon in London. She looked and looked, and couldn’t find a local stylist that was up to her standards.Then someone recommended Salon Gaboa to me. So I suggested that my assistant go over and see what she thought of their stylists. She did just that, and watched both Ben and Vasco cutting hair. She came back and told me they both had great technique and were both totally expert stylists!Ben had the first available appointment, so I went to see him. He’s been doing my hair ever since. I really don’t think you can find a better stylist than Ben or Vasco.I also go to Pembe for pedicures, and she’s just as professional at doing nails as the others are at doing hair. Her polish never comes off, even if I have to push an appointment out much longer than usual. And my nails are always perfect after she does them.But one of the most important things to me is the friendly atmosphere of this salon. They treat their clients more like friends than like customers. I don’t have a lot of time to spend socializing. So when I’m at a salon for a hair appointment lasting a couple of hours, or getting a pedicure for an hour, I want to spend that time with a friend, not someone who just mechanically performs services. That’s the great thing about Salon Gaboa – the owners, Ben, Vasco and Pembe, are the nicest people you could ever meet. Once you’ve been their customers for any length of time, you’ll feel like they’re family. I always look forward to spending time with them.That’s about as good as it gets, but I almost forgot – they also have the best coffee around!:) Julie

    CARING ABOUT YOUR SAFETY AND HEALTH ... With Covid 19 and at age 77, I was concerned about getting a haircut. But ... Gaboa is it. Beyond its so lovely decor and staff, they went the extra mile. Staff and clients wore masks and had their temps taken plus to ensure proper social distancing, appointments were booked appropriately. Thank you all at Gaboa.

    I love this salon, nobody else can do my hair because its very long and thick. But are they still open because Ive called several times for a couple weeks and no receptionist is picking up. And it takes 2-3 days for a call back. You guys can add a scheduling plugin to your Facebook page cour free and it would give ppl the chance to book online because its been about 2mos. now because I forget and then I remember and wait on a call back or never leave a message. Please tell me youre still open! I called today at 9am all the way to close just a bit ago.
