Angela is the best stylist I have been to. It reminded me of the older days when you got a full experience from the stylist instead Id how many salons today have someone else wash and style.Angela was on time waiting for me right at our appointment.Her consultation was really great as she understood what I was looking for.She washed my hair and her massage, temp, informing me of products used was excellent and everything you could want.Her technique showed someone who was educated on technique.I asked for blended layers with face framing and she did an EXCELLENT job.Her blowout was perfection.I left in awe over my service, experience and price! Well done!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone looking to be blown away 😀

Visiting Shear Joy was an incredible experience! I will begin Chemo soon and today they helped me pick out a wig through the Wigs & Wishes Foundation! Although chemo and imminent hair loss is daunting (at best), EVERYONE at Shear Joy worked together to make me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in, to picking out and trying a wig for sizing! They were knowledgeable, spent as much time as I needed, offered their advice and treated me with love and compassion! This beautiful salon is full of amazing ladies who truly care about their clients and show them love and joy from the moment you enter the salon until the moment you leave! ❤️ Thank you Shear Joy, I really needed this beautiful experience today and I look forward to seeing you soon!

Shear Joy is my one stop shop for everything! From hair cut and color, to hair extensions, to acrylic nails with customized nail art, to eyebrow micro blading and facials, and amazing products, look no further for an incredible experience! Called and spoke with Kim who listened to me then set me up with Angela. Good match! Very professional and personable. Most of all knows her art. I was one of those clients that asked her what she thought would be good for me. After some discussion she got an idea of my wishes. Very pleased with results. Will return. Also bought some product of which I inquired about, no one tried to make me buy. Will give more about product when I have used it. The atmosphere is also very bright and friendly.

Mia was absolutely amazing! I just moved to the Tampa area and was dreading finding a new hair stylist after having the same one in Orlando for 5 years. Devyn Wallingford is my hair stylist for life. I e been seeing her for over 5 months now and she is truly helping to bring life into my straight, fine hair. I love the grey coverage with multi tones. For the first time ever, I love my hair! The long layers she has been constructing, along with the more natural hair products have made my hair more shiny and soft.I love the salon. It is friendly environment snd the shampoo stations are wonderful. The supports for your neck as well as Devyn’s magical hands make me so relaxed for the day! I have been coming to Shear Joy Salon for years now. The salon is clean and cutely decorated with snack and drink options for clients.I used to see Josie who does awesome work, but when my work schedule changed and didn’t align with her availability, she recommended Sam.I’ve seen Sam 5+ times in the last 2 years & she does an amazing job! I usually get a balayage/touch up, hair cut, and blow dry. Sam is knowledgeable and does an excellent job with the color and cut. I like that we chat to catch up but I don’t feel pressure to keep the conversation going (like I have felt at other salons) for the hours it takes to do my hair. It’s always a relaxing experience & I leave feeling like a million bucks.

Josie is the only hair stylist I will ever go to! I started going to Josie many years ago and have never been disappointed not even once! She is consistently improving her skills by always staying up to date on product, technique, style and always makes it a point to inform me about whatever changes she’s making. Josie also takes care of my hair by recommending product that fits not only my personal needs but she is always respectful in finding a product that does what I need while also working with my budget to find the perfect product. Today I went FROM coloring my hair a light brown with blonde highlights after having this look for 20+ years TO my natural silvery gray color to celebrate our retirement and new life.It was not a simple process. The color had to be removed from my hair through a tedious and massive foil technique taking about 1.5 hours, as well as multiple toners and conditioners applied to achieve my color and protect my hair from damage, and all the while Mandy was checking and rechecking the color development. The whole process took 4.5 hours. I had no idea.Mandy Williams, the salon owner and master stylist, changed my hair color for me and she is the only person who I would trust to make such a dramatic change in my appearance. It looks terrific! It will be simple, easy to take care of, and a less expensive alternative for my retirement lifestyle. Mandy even calculated multiple methods to charge me for her services to give me the price that was the greatest value for me. I would highly recommend Shear Joy Hair Salon in Safety Harbor, Mandy Williams, and her staff who undergo a rigorous training program to work there. Mandy Williams has been my stylist for 10 years and is one of the most talented and professional people in the industry.

I haven’t had a haircut for about a year. I was scared to go to a random salon. One of my friends recommended Sheer Joy. Courtney did my haircut and I loved it. She was friendly and made me feel so comfortable. She gave me advice on what haircut would suit me best based on my length and texture. I loved it! I will be back to get my balayage and a keratin treatment. Can’t wait to see Courtney again.

Dear Shear Joy Salon,This was my first time in your Salon, and to say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. 🧡🍁From Chelseas warm greeting to your Apprentice (forgive me, I didnt hear her name) seating me at Angelas station while letting me know, Angela was finishing up with a Customer. All in all, it was a pleasant visit.Angela was Friendly, thorough, and shared helpful advice on dealing with my problematic hair, sadly turned red from rusty well water. A new experience for me!She applied a Redken Clarifying Shsmpoo and while it didnt lift alot of rust red from my hair, it did lighten the current shade considerably.While Im on a tight budget due to my health decline, I will definitely return as I can afford to.Thank you for becoming my first salon visit since moving to Clearwater, FL.,and my first pampering gift to myself since my losing my Home in CA.Today was a blessing and a positive first step after putting myself on hold for a long time. Im grateful.

I brought my 3 daughters in today for hair cuts. They each have different hair types and wanted different styles. Lindsay took her time and gave them each a beautiful cut and style. She was thorough, attentive and kind, and my girls all love their new styles! Today was our first time in, but it won’t be our last. Loved our experience. Thank you, Lindsay!!

Nicole was AMAZING! my first time at the hair salon and from the time I walked into the door to Nicole’s chair I felt like it was the perfect salon for me. The customer service was exceptional, friendly and professional. You can tell Nicole is seasoned. She examined my blonde to the “T” and did everything she could to provide the allotted time to do my hair. I initially was going to do a toner and cut but instead felt confident going with a partial, toner and cut. I feel refreshed and will definitely be going back. Thanks again! Thank you to Josie Starke at Shear Joy Hair Salon for my amazing hair! I have been going to Shear Joy since it opened and its a wonderful salon. Everyone works as a team and the vibe has good energy. Josie is my stylist and she knows what I like and just what my hair needs. She keeps records of all my prior formulas every time she does my hair. I am very particular when it comes to my hair and she goes above and beyond. I highly recommend trying this Salon. They do hair, nails, lashes, and permanent makeup. Its the best!

Sam was super attentive to what I wanted in the color session while being sure to preserve my natural curls! She even recommended the best upkeep for the balayage, and showed me which products would be best for me while I wait for touch ups. She’s so just super kind, we’re able to have such good conversations while she works on my hair! It feels more like a visit to a friend than being treated like anyone off the street - she’s such a great stylist because she’s intentional with her time!

So happy I found Shear Joy. First time getting my hair done and Angelina did an awesome job. The stylist that i originally booked with ended up leaving and Angelina was able to squeeze me into her busy schedule, which I definitely appreciated
