    I’m so glad I found this salon to service my daughter’s hair! From beginning to end the process was smooth and my daughter was pampered with a face mask which was too cute. Michelle hands are blessed because the transformation was amazing. She knows hair and you can tell she’s passionate about her craft. Salon was clean and staff was very professional. Highly recommend and I will be going to her myself!

    I love the vibe of the place. Michelle is very accommodating with scheduling. I had to get ready for a cousins wedding and she fit me in to do my hair before I traveled. I looked good for the wedding. I will definitely come back for my next appointment.

    I’ve been going to Devin Roots for over 20 years with hair stylist & owner Michelle. She is the best hair dresser who when you set an appointment date & time with her she’s punctual & you are actually in the chair at the appointment time you have set. She is the only person that I have let touched my hair, she started my locs & she keeps them healthy and beautiful. Michelle is very professional & knows her craft. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a hair stylist.

    Requested starter locs. Michelle did an amazing job. First hairstylist to wash my hair in a way that made me feel relaxed. Im not tender headed, but I did not feel her in my hair at all- meaning like she wasnt pulling at my hair or making the style tight where my head hurt. This is not an exaggeration, but Ive never fallen asleep before when someone does my hair, and thats all I did when Michelle did my hair. I fell asleep, and she adjusted to my position and was really nice not to mention my falling asleep 🙃Immaculate vibes ✨️

    I adore the owner and this salon. Ive always gotten the look I desired and more every time Ive gone. Ms. Michelle has a wealth of experience, which is evident in her work. As soon as you enter the salon the atmosphere is immediately welcoming. Im really picky about who I let do my hair, but Ill always trust her. Since going to her salon, my hair has not only grown but has gotten stronger and healthier. I would 1000% recommend!

    I had a chance encounter with Michelle I approached her at whole food to ask her about her micro twist she informed me that it was done by her and I was truly Happy to meet my new stylist I was on the Fence with starting my micro lock journey due to travel requirements and hotel expenses to Atlanta but this was faith to meet a local micro twist expertThe most important part for me was to not have a traditional grid and Michelle truly listen and understand what I did not want and was able to create the pattern that I was comfortable withThank you 😃

    I go to Devine roots for all my natural hair needs for my daughter and I. The shop is clean, staff is friendly and the service is always exceptional. I have trusted this salon for years for all my protective style needs such as box braids and corn rows for my daughter. I had a hard time caring for my daughters hair so it broke off, but after taking her here, her hair has finally grown back. I highly recommend this salon for children and adults.

    I never do this but I had to.. Michelle is awesome 👌🏾 once I sat down she broke down in detail about my hair. I love that it wasnt about taking my money and saying its fine. She was really honest and what area I need help.     I’ve followed this salon from their previous location on Sunrise and University. Absolutely love this shop! The ladies are so warm and know their stuff, especially about natural hair. It’s always clean and full of laughs when I go. Got a chance to visit recently, post covid-19 quarantine, and I was impressed with how they keep up with safety regulations! Highly recommend!

    I started my locs at Devine roots 12 years ago. Along the years I myself bleached and put color in my hair, killing my locs. Devine roots restored my locs detoxed them and made them look brand new again. I love my locs and the services that are provided at Devine roots. Great Energy, Great people.
