I had the most enjoyable and positive experience at Great Looks Salon! Mary was absolutely lovely and so experienced. She did a beautiful job giving me a classic long-layered cut and blow-dry. Not only did I walk out feeling transformed, with bounce and movement in my hair, but my spirit was uplifted as well! I happened to also meet Jody, and she was equally warm and welcoming. I had been looking for a hair stylist since I moved to Florida (which was awhile back) and finally decided on trying out Great Looks Hair Spa. I am glad I waited, Jody was terrific! I self-bleach-&-tone my roots so my hair was super damaged and the ends really scraggly since my hair is baby fine. I brought a couple of pictures and Jody was honest in saying - very nicely - that one just wouldnt probably work (wishful thinking on my part!) I went with the other one and it turned out fabulous! Jody really understood what I was looking for and took the time to explain great tips for keeping my hair looking great after I left. I purchased the products she recommended and they have kept my style fresh and my hair healthy. I am going back for a cut very soon!

I had my first hair service today with Jody and Rachael, and they’re both wonderful and kindhearted people! I really enjoyed my time there. I’ve been looking for a salon ever since I moved to Ft. Lauderdale and I’m SO happy I found Great Looks Salon. Jody gave me the most thorough haircut I’ve ever had. She’s very meticulous and took her time with me. She really listens to you and she’s extremely knowledgeable about hair, and even recommended some products suited for me that I purchased. You can tell she truly loves her job, and it shows in how she treats her clients. I love how my hair turned out and I’m very satisfied with my experience overall. I’ve known Jody my entire life. Not only is she a kind human being, but an artist when it comes to the world of hair. I have 3 b/c curls, and I don’t trust anyone with them. It’s a known fact that bleaching hair, (especially curly) is incredibly damaging. Not only is my hair the healthiest it’s ever been, but the most beautiful. Besides her skills, her personality is striking, and it’s impossible not to fall in love with her. Not only will you be pleased with your hair, but you will walk out of the salon feeling like a million bucks. Don’t pass on the opportunity to see this woman!!! She’s a magician

So it had been a couple years since I went back to Jody at great looks, I have to tell you she nailed it again with my hair, my hair hasnt felt this good in a long time the cut and the color with highlights look absolutely gorgeous I get so many compliments and Josie was awesome as well Im going back next month for the Brazilian blowout I cant wait for that. You need to go to this salon you will be pleased and the salon with everyone working there are a lot of fun I had the best time and thank you for being there and taking care of my hair couldnt be happier.

I am so grateful with the ladies at this salon! I went in before Christmas because I HAD to fix some horrible highlights in my hair. Ever since I walked in, Leandra was the most sweetest, understanding, and professional hairstylist. She was really interested in getting to know what I wanted, so she could be sure that I was going to be happy with my results. She took her time doing my hair and gave me a beautiful balayage which I absolutely LOVE!!!! She even gave me tips on how to take better care of my hair. I really couldn’t be more grateful! Wow - that’s all I can say! I could not have picked a better salon to go through a hair transformation with. First, Jody was super responsive on Yelp, and helped walk me through my questions and concerns before my in-person consultation. When I went in for my actual appointment, I was assisted by both Jody and Leandra, who are both experts! They really took their time with my hair, and made sure I was comfortable. As far as protections for COVID, they required everyone to wear a mask, everything is constantly cleaned and sanitized, and I was sitting across the salon from any other customers. I would recommend this salon a THOUSAND times! Definitely book an appointment!

Great service and experience at Great Looks! I came in as a new client and left feeling like a regular. Jodi and Ellie were so welcoming and friendly. I chose this salon because they are certified in DevaCurl cuts for curly hair. Ellie was terrific as we discussed my hair and expectations, then she started the cutting process...curl by curl, hair by hair. She took her time and made sure its what I wanted. Shannon does my nails. I have elevated her to goddess status! I went to her with severely damaged nails from an inept salon; the acrylic was awful. (Shannon has pictures). She repaired them beautifully. Due to my schedule, I wasnt able to get back for a fill until five weeks after my initial appointment . I did not have a bit of lifting on any nail. She is truly talented!

I went into Great Looks with my hair a mess! I briefly consulted with Jody and Nino, showed them the cut I was interested in, and Nino got right to work. He listened and followed what I asked for and did an amazing job at fixing my hair. Everyone I met was super friendly and inviting and Sun gave the best wash I ever had. I am very picky when it comes to hair stylist and salons. Today, I got a great hair cut exactly like I wanted and an amazing hair treatment, my hair was reborn! Jody is a true professional, very intuitive to cusotmers needs plus she mastered her trade. The whole team is great, particulary Soon who gave me the best hair shampoo&massage I have ever had here! I must add I am used to real quality of hairdressers from Europe and Asia, and finding a great salon here in Fort Lauderdale was like winning the lotto, Im not kidding. I have gone through 6 salons in 2 years. This is the only place I can say they know what they are doing, and they are amazing! From entrance to exit you get attention to detail, and an amazing hair cut tops it all! I warmly recommend Great Looks Hair Spa to everyone! I am so grateful I found them. You guys rock!

She directed me to Nino and I was apprehensive at first but I was very happy with my cut, and he was very sweet! I would recommend this salon to anyone wanting a great cut! I found this salon by accident. To my surprise it was the best accidental find:) I went in for a wash and blow out with Jodi. She did a fantastic job and treated me wonderful. As she was looking at my hair she noticed my color, which I was not thrilled about either. I have very dark brown hair with blond highlights. I cant tell you how much money I have spent with stylist claiming they know how to do Blond highlights on dark hair. I have been every color: Brassy, Orange, Greenish blond, Greyish Blond, Yellow Hello Sunkist Blond. I wanted a creamy soft blond. Couldnt seem to find find it till I found Great Looks Hair Spa. I now have Creamy Blond Highlights and at a reasonable price!!!!!!! Not to mention my hair was NOT breaking or damaged when I left. This place knows what their doing with hair! Buy the products she recommends. They are very reasonably priced. The best prices I have seen without sacrificing on the quality.O.k. so lets talk about the Shampoo girl. The wonderful lady massaged me so good I was drooling and falling asleep in the shampoo bowl. Never in my life have I been so relaxed in one of those sinks.This place made me feel like I was family and I was so relaxed the whole time. I would recommend this place to everyone!Forever a client!!!!

Ive been coming here over a year now to see ellie shes my stylist the best one ive ever have i do modeling all over south florida so my look has to be on point. I come every 2 weeks and sometimes every week if i can, i will only let ellie touch my hair if im on vacation i wont touch it till i come back and see her. Shes very nice me and her are to the point where i dont even need to tell her what to do and were always experimenting with different styles and highlights. both jodi and ellie are the nicest people ive met at any hair salon they genuinely enjoy being there and enjoy the customers. You feel like your at home when your with them. I will never stop coming here and seeing ellie shes the best!

Paige has been styling my hair for a while and she gave me a fantastic new cut yesterday of which I love. I would recommend Paige for any of your styling needs. She is a great stylist and loves what she does and it shows.
