    This is an amazing barbershop. The owner, Pablo, is extremely skilled and focused on excellence in customer service and technical skill excellence . This business is honest, sincere, and treats everyone like family . The know all of their customers and names and will make you feel very welcome. The shop is also bilingual and can absolutely accommodate those who speak either English or Spanish, and also one of the barbers speaks fluent Italian, the gentleman named “Luca “. Luca does my haircuts and has been doing them for over a year now and he is one of the very best barbers I have had with regard to both skill set, consistency in style and service. This shop will listen carefully to what you want exactly so that you leave feeling very happy with your haircut and never disappointed. I’ve also had my eyebrows trimmed and they will include shaving them back of the neck and a hot towel treatment .They accommodate all ages and are fairly easy to find, located in a shopping center near Bayview and Commercial Blvd. The classic barbershop red and white tower is outside to make it easy to find too. The shop is kept meticulous clean, and here you will find an obvious sense of pride in what they do and how the shop is kept and how customers are treated, always with respect. They are true professionals. They also offer complimentary Cuban coffee, water, Coca Cola, diet soda and I have seen a specific variety of beer in the refrigerator. They also have a very tempting glass container of chocolates like Milky Way bars, Snickers and such. I look forward to that as well as the coffee, you just need to ask for the coffee is it has not already been made and offered which they do very regularly . Their pricing is competitive for the excellence you are getting and they have a punch card loyalty program such that after a certain number of haircuts, you get one free, and that helps one manage cost while demonstrating loyalty to the shop, which I am happy to do. I give them 5 out of 5 stars . I offered to write this review, and did not need to be asked as I’m always very happy with them. Julian .

    This is an amazing barbershop. The owner, Pablo takes enormous pride in excellence at both the technical skill set and client service level and makes the same true of all the barbers in the shop. They can accommodate you if you speak English or Spanish r both as the barbers are all bilingual. In addition, one of the barbers, who, I use, Luca, speaks fluent Italian as well. The shop is meticulously maintained and Pablo opened this shop in the latter part of last year. He also owns and operates a shop on A1A where he offers the same degree of excellence. These barbers are true professionals and will treat you with respect and are excellent listeners so that you leave very happy with the haircut you have and will really appreciate just how skilled they are. They are very engaging and make conversation easily as service is a priority as well as skill set. The shop as per the photos I have attached is kept meticulous clean and there is a clear sense of pride that the owner and his employees all have. They treat their clients as if family and remember names and make building a relationship and rapport with clients a priority . I have used Luca for over a year and he does an exceedingly great job at cutting and styling hair and has a natural talent for doing it. All of the barbers at both locations make this effort and I have my preference just as all clients do. I have never been unhappy with the service at Step Up Barbershop or skill set from a technical point of view. Treating clients who present to the shop with respect is a priority too. They also offer complimentary Cuban coffee, water, diet Coca Cola, regular Coca Cola and I believe beer as well in their kiosk style refrigerator. Whatever you like, all you have to do is ask n. They also offer chocolates I personally look forward to, have very comfortable seating and a beautiful fish tank and spotlessly clean and polished environment. They are also priced competitively given the extreme degree of excellence in skill they provide. They are true and ultra professionals. They also offer a loyalty program to help with cost by offering a free haircut, if I recall, one in ten, that make it even more attractive and affordable than it already is for what you are getting in skill and services. I easily give this shop 5 out of 5 stars. Julian.

He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered expert advice to ensure I achieved the perfect look.     I’m down here on vacation and was in need of a haircut and knew just where to go. Step up barbershop would be my go to if I didn’t live in Connecticut. Their standards for attention to detail are set so high I don’t think I’ll ever find another barber that will match them. Step up barbershop has my business every time I’m in town.

    Seriously talented group of barbers here. Really nice set up too. My husband went when it first opened and loved it. Now he goes every two weeks. My son even got his first cut here and they did such a great job. Would highly recommend.

    Luca was my barber during my visit. I went in without really knowing what I wanted to do with my hair. He really spent his time with me to figure out what’s would look best and took his time to make it look great. Highly recommend stopping by for a cut, the shop is awesome! Great music and vibes is always a plus.
