This place is top notch!!! The reception was so friendly I didn’t catch her name but she was very sweet. My clinician was awesome too! I highly recommend UniKWax! Im visiting the area and was on the fence if I should or not. It’s more of a comfort level situation for me. Anywho, I scheduled my appointment virtually which is very convenient. My interaction with the receptionist the following morning was warm and welcoming. When I walked in I was greeted and acknowledged. The young lady helped me set up my profile. The establishment is nice and clean. Shanice took care of me. This young lady is amazing. She has a sense of humor and made it the best mommy experience for me. 10/10 recommendation!!!!! Thank you ladies!!!!

This has to be the best wax I have ever received. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting staff. The location was extremely clean & and very hygienic, as everyone gets their own wax. Reggi was a very skilled and gentle esthesitician. I dont know what type of wax is used, but is was so soft and virtually pain-free. I cant begin to recommend Reggi or Uni K Wax Studio enough. My next appointment was booked before I left.

I’ve tried other chain wax places but this is the best imo! The wax they use is surprisingly gentle (as much as hair removal can be haha), the staff is all SO nice & friendly and they offer great packages and deals. I pay for the membership and absolutely give them five out of five stars for the whole experience all the way from booking the appt to enjoying the results.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I have a VERY low pain tolerance, and after having an extremely painful first time Brazilian wax experience at a different salon, I was very, VERY hesitant about doing it again. I’m so glad I decided to give this place a try. The wax they use is seriously a night and day difference from other salons. Liuba was nothing but professional and pleasant, and I will be requesting her every time. I won’t go anywhere else. If you’re hesitant, don’t be - this is the place to go!!!

Every time that I come here, I’m always in and out with great service. I usually have either Monica or Regi, but today, I had Shanice and it was my first time with her, but she was amazing!! She takes her time to make sure she understands your skin type and give you the best service and recommendations that she can! It was truly a pleasure. We found this gem on Google and visited today during our honeymoon vacation. Darlene at the front desk was very helpful and gave clear directions. I was serviced by Meisha, she made me feel very comfortable and did a phenomenal job with my waxing, I barely felt anything. I dont feel sore or tender like I did from my first waxing experience. Shanice serviced my wife, and she was also very pleased with the experience. Everyone is pleasant and upbeat, the ambiance is very relaxed and the experience does not feel rushed either. This will be our go to spot when we are in town.

Stephanie V. Was amazing, she has the hands of an angle. She was super fast and efficient and I was happy with my end result. This was a last minute booking and I could not be more pleased with the service I received. The wax is au natural and you get your own individual pot so no worries about double dipping- unlike other places. Also, pain is very minimal compared to traditional hard wax or sugaring on a scale of one to ten I would say it’s a 3. I would definitely recommend if it’s your first time or you haven’t gone for a wax in a long time.

She’s super sweet, takes her time with you, and makes sure you’re feeling comfortable throughout the service. I don’t know what kind of technique she uses lol but I hardly felt any pain. I absolutely loved it. Not to mention the beautiful young lady at the front desk who was super welcoming with such a great attitude! As far as the customer service, the Fort Lauderdale location in particular has changed so much for the best. Their staff is friendly, cordial and welcoming. I had my session done today with Regis and I am extremely satisfied with her customer service. Regis was very friendly, communication/conversation was great and her professionalism was superb. Her attention to details is excellent. I highly recommend her for your next booking. I wish I can give this location and their staff 10+ stars. Totally deserving of it.

Ive been a customer since 2011 going to the Coral Gables, Ft. Lauderdale, and Weston locations and I havent had any issues with UniKWax at all. UniK hires quality and well-trained individuals. Ive done walk-ins, have gotten new people, and Ive NEVER had any issue. The front desk staff are also super friendly when I ask about possibly popping in or letting them know Im running late.My usuals are Shanice, Monica, and Regis. I move among them depending on their availability. I love that that they all ensure to minimize pain by letting me know when theyre going to pull the wax and when to breathe in/out. Ive gone to a few places and they were just pulling the wax off as though they were a kid unwrapping presents! All of the waxers are also great with conversation as well so there isnt any awkward silence if you dont want that.I will confess that Ive strayed and tried three other waxing places (due to distance and combo specials/groupons), but they just werent up to par. I left those competitors with pain, bumps, and ingrown hairs rather than with smooth skin and a smiling face. So Ive learned my lesson and sticking with UniK!

I live in Chicago and I discovered this place when I was in Florida and seriously I can’t find any other place that is as great as Uni K. They use this amazing wax that’s super gentle on my skin. Not only that but they wax larger sections at the same time, which means less pulling and less pain. The staff is great and super professional. I highly recommend. Also, the Uni K locations in New York are great as well.

I waited for my second visit to leave a review, and this is why..I started my waxing journey in GA at a private waxing establishment and needless to say I fell in love. When I moved to SF they obviously didn’t have the local waxer i was using so I started going to the well known “European wax center”. Shortly after I started services with them I started getting the worst ingrown hairs I have ever experienced (never in my life had a ingrown hair prior to using ESC). I tried different professionals at their many locations and each of them told me it was due to how the waxer was waxing me and breaking my hairs. Ultimately I stopped getting waxed because I couldn’t deal with the bumps/ingrowns. It was embarrassing romantically and even Publicly at the beach. I just started shaving again and the Ingrowns stopped.. I work in the same plaza as Uni K and one of my patients recommended them due to their organic wax and cleanliness. So I walked over one day on break and seen they offered one small free service for new customers. I booked an apt for my full Brazilian and free armpit. Listen, my waxer Stephanie was friendly, gentle, personable, and knowledgeable. I thought it was going to hurt so bad due to me shaving for the last few months - and although it is uncomfortable no matter what I was extremely surprised by how much it DIDNT hurt! It was a lot more gentle than I expected. I could immediately tell a difference after my hair started to grow back, no signs of Ingrowns anywhere and the hair is SO fine! I am finally starting to see the benefits everyone talks about with waxing that I never got to experience , the finer- thinner hair . The smoothness. Everything! I HIGHLY recommend this place and of course Stephanie really knows what she is doing. The front desk staff Darlene was personable and friendly while waiting for my apt. Don’t walk, RUN to book your apt!

Ive been coming here for about 2 1/2 years now and Ive noticed such a HUGE improvement when the new management took over. Honestly there were certain services I never received in the beginning that I now know they are standard. (Small things like a little towel to cover up when the wax specialist opens the door to the ice pack and cooling gel at the end). These are small details but itsimportant to treat the skin and hair in order to avoid ingrown hair and bumps. My wax specialist Monica is AMAZING and the days that she isnt available I am able to book with another staff member that is equally just as qualified as her.

I had an awesome experience at Uni K Wax of Ft.Lauderdale. Everyone is always very nice and the waxers there are great. They are very gentle. I love how I can come in for a service and be out in 15minutes. The wax is really great, its a hard wax and it doesnt rip off skin and its not even painful like other waxes Ive tried. Another thing that I love about this place is the membership that gives you points for every service! Its their way of giving back to their clients. Its awesome!

Awesome service! Least painful wax I’ve done. Did upper arms and shoulders. I have pretty thick course hair so most places I’ve been have been pretty painful but this was super quick and easy

First thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean and zen the place made me feel. I loved the way everything is up to date, you can just check in through an iPad which makes the process super quick and easy. They checked my temperature, which also shows how attentive they are of the pandemic we are currently going through. I went for a Brazilian wax, which honestly I was extremely nervous/scared about but Carolina is a literal ANGEL. She made me feel super comfortable with the whole process and spoke to me all through it. I definitely recommend Carolina to anyone who wants to do it but is a little shy/scared. The check out process was just as easy, everything is done through an iPad. Contactless pay available!
