The care team at Riverchase Dermatology Fort Myers West are nothing short of awesome. I had to go there for a procedure. The doctor, medical assistants, check in/check out staff that I encountered were all fabulous. They were kind, knowledgeable and very efficient. The office is very clean and modern looking. Plenty of parking and easy getting in and out of. My doctor took the time to explain everything prior to and after my procedure. They really could not have been any kinder than they were. Definitely highly recommend!!

Dr lee excised a basal cell from the top center of my scalp. It was done professionally with great skill and attention. A phys. asst. came in to close up the wound and he too was very skillful. I suffered no discomfort at any time. This is was an excellent procedure and would highly recommend Riverchase Dermatology to all.

I switched to this dermatology practice three years ago and I am so glad I did. They are a thousand times better than my previous provider. They never make you feel rushed or talk down to you. Was seen on time, front desk made for a pleasant entry. Dr Lee and nurse Michelle were very professional, jovial and explained my procedure. Due to the tiny size of my procedure I was given the option of a single stitch or letting it heal on it’s own, I went with the no stitch route. Five stars for sure.

I had a cyst removed by Dr. Patterson and the procedure could not have gone more smoothly. Before starting, he assessed and marked the area. Shortly after the local anesthetic was administered by his physician assistant, Dr. Patterson first tested the area to ensure I could not feel any sharp pain. He then proceeded to make an incision around the cyst to remove the entire cyst wall and contents. Dr. Patterson repeatedly asked if I was experiencing any pain or discomfort. Since I am on Warfarin (blood thinner), Dr. Patterson’s physician assistant was superbly positioned to capture my blood on gauze pads while the initial incision was made. Dr. Patterson had to incorporate the use of a laser to seal blood vessels to reduce bleeding. Before using, he stated that I would be smelling an odor like burnt hair. After removing the cyst and its associated sack, Dr. Patterson examined the area one last time, then proceeded to suture the incision. His calm personal demeanor made this cyst removal stress free. Lastly, his physician assistant gently cleaned up around the wound area and applied several bandages. She then provided care instructions and escorted me to the front desk to schedule my surgical follow-up appointment. I highly recommend Riverchase for all your skin care treatment.

I had MOHS surgery atRiverchase. It was a pencil eraser size area on the bridge of my nose of all places 🥴 I can’t say that I wasn’t a little worried about how I might look following the procedure. But the doctors and nurses were amazing and did a fantastic job all around. Dr. Rory stitched me up and I literally can’t even tell where the stitches and incision were. I hope I don’t have to go back there again but if I have to I wouldn’t hesitate to see them again.

I will start this by saying that I very honestly do not like going to the dermatologist. I grew up in FL and have a light complexion so I know its necessary! It was found that I had a lesion that required mohs. It was on my face so I was very nervous. Dr. Lee and his technician were PHENOMENAL! He explained things in a way that I could understand. He was very thorough and compassionate with my anxiety. I would recommend him and Riverchase over and over again. I will be a patient for life and also will be better about my yearly checks. I have been a client of Riverchase Dermatology since moving north from Naples two years ago. Dr. Mark Kagan is my dermatology inspector monitoring the results of five years as a lifeguard, rendering in the sun slathered with iodine placed baby oil (sun replants were unknown to us back then - as was skin cancer.I had a growth begin on my face on September 2, and I was confused about having my first blackhead growing pimple since about 13. It began to grow. I got in to see Dr. Jagan on September 13th (I’m now superstitious!!). He knocked, entered the room, looked and said, @I know what this is but we’ll take a specimen and have it analyzed. Numbing, slicing, bandaging all went fine and off I went. I called for the pathology report on the 19th and heard the results on the 29th. I took some photographs and sent the likeness of an Alison taking up residence in my cheek!Two hours later I was contacted by staff at Riverchase advising me I could be seen on Monday at 10:00 am, Sept 23rd. I had an immunotherapy session schedule at 9:30 that day. They countered with Tuesday the 24th at 10:00 am. I accepted.I arrived at the office on Gladiolus at 9:45. Pre-registered, I was shown to a room at 10:00, by Marissa who explained Mohs and what would happen this day. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Lee came in and examined the growth. He explained what the process involved and answered questions I easily understood. Had a couple of questions that were immediately and precisely answered. Marissa was charged with prepping and numbing me and she, too is very knowledgeable answering questions and coming as she proceeded. She returned with Dr. Lee who refreshed me on the process. I didn’t feel a thing and he concentrated on doing his job to perfection and answering questions I had and numbing a part that did not seem would be part but was. He completed his magic and, at my request, he showed me the tissues (3 rounds of cutting and removing), answering questions and on one said, “That is the cancer (yellow, dexterous) and showed me the last tissue removed as proof of cancerous tissue expunged. Cool!He left for the lab. Marissa cleaned me, my pride and my wound up.Some time later, Rory arrived and introduced himsekf and explained his role of checking again to reconfirm and then begin the process of closing up the wound. He, too, answered questions and when his work was complete, he bid me adieu and Marissa again cleaned all and bandaged the now masterfully closed and sutured site.All three had explained my duties I must do as I care for the successful management of the closed wound. I’m departed fully believing I know precisely what to do to get this healed without agitating any stitches. I’m bound to carry out their instructions and return to Riverchase for stitches removal and final examination of the handiwork on October, 2024.Thanks Riverchase Dermatology! The experience from the lobby to the departure for home was a total superb experience!

The doctor I saw was wonderful, but the front desk needs to be more willing to help patients with special needs. I’d like to tell the front desk to remember that I am one of the patients that pays their salaries and I have the freedom to go elsewhete. I will not return to this practice for future care. I have outlined my particular experience belowI was a new patient with impaired vision and asked the women working there if she could type in the patient information for me on the iPad or print out a form that I could fill out instead. My promise is mt depth perception is off, and therefore, for every three letters I type I make two mistakes. Neither the front desk clerk nor the technician wete willing to help and therefore I didn’t fill out the form.

Nicole made sure I understood what the procedure entailed and how I would likely feel while the light was doing its work. She is through, spends time explaining what she is doing, explains what she finds in terms you can understand, she has an incredible bed/chair side manner. I feel a head covering should’ve been provided but I did use my own baseball hat. Otherwise, 5 star service!

The incision was far less invasive than expected, with minimal discomfort, and the healing is progressing well. She explained the entire procedure my husband was to receive in language he and I could understand and put my husband at ease.
