I love going to the FIRST NON-TOXIC nail salon in Gainesville ! :) Mhika is so welcoming, sweet, and talented! I’ve been seeing her for over a year now. Her space is beautiful as she’s put a lot of time into creating Velvet Aura. It makes me feel very comfortable, especially since it’s one-on-one. I always look forward to our monthly appointments ☺️I love extra & detailed nails, Mhika is so talented and kills it every-time. As someone who did their own manicures for 5 years before I met Mhika, she has more skill and talent than I could ever. I never liked acrylic growing up or the way it affected my nails after. Switching to natural nails with Mhika was the best decision I made for my nail health. Also, my nails have never been healthier! I don’t get extensions anymore thanks to her, I leave with amazing sets and an even better mood each time. I know you see that growth !!! 🤭

Mhika is such a skilled and courteous nail stylist! Just by walking into Velvet Aura you feel relaxed from her plants and complimentary coffee/snacks station. She always takes extra care with her Russian manicure (included FREE of charge with every service), very attentive to details, and the vibes are always immaculate. I also appreciate that her salon is 100% fume free. Ive never had ANY complaints whatsoever, my nails are always beautiful!

Velvet Aura is the only salon I’ll go to in town! Mhika is so amazing at what she does and makes sure her team is on par with the same level of service. The space is so relaxing it’s such a haven compared to other salons where you leave with a headache from the fumes, or just being overwhelmed by the constant door opening. Being appointments-only means you get such a personalized experience and your tech isn’t trying to manage running the store simultaneously. Mhika usually has movies or a show playing, so it’s such a great brain-break from the outside world. Mhika has been my mail tech for at least the past four years, and I literally refuse to see anyone else!

I found out about Mhika from a coworker. If you are looking for intentional manicures with hardy hard gel and amazing designs she is your girl! Every month i look forward to getting my nails done with her especially because of the durability! I am rough with my hands and her technique passes the test! 5 stars!!

I’ve been to @mhikanails three times and she gets better every time. Incredibly talented and innovative in her technique and services. Top quality products and service. My natural nails have never looked better and they actually last so long. The salon vibes are immaculate and she always has a movie or show playing during your service. You are also surrounded by plants so 10/10

I started going to Mhika over 2 years ago when I could not find a nail salon I was happy with. The previous work would never last even up to two weeks. Since not having acrylics my nails have become stronger and been able to grow them out naturally. You also can’t been the refreshment bar and the music or movie/show she plays during your visit

Best manicure ive found in gainesville!! She cares about not only quality of service but health of your nails. one of the only russian manicure options in gainesville that Ive found and its much more affordable in comparison to the other. youre also supporting a local small business. Doesnt get much better than this. As long as I live in Gainesville shes got my business.

Was recommended @Mhikanails by a colleague and lets just say after that first appt., I have been to no one else since! Nice clean environment and if Im lucky, we are watching a Disney classic as I get my nails done so its a win win!

She always killing the game with my nails! Great convos and whatever she’s playing on the tv is so addicting! I couldn’t recommend her enough, she’s professional, kind and incredibly knowledgeable.
