What a great clinic! Very friendly and efficient. The staff are hard working and really hustle to keep patients moving. I am traveling in the area, and as a one-time first-visit patient, they treated me great. I was able to get in and receive the procedure that I needed in a single visit. Ashley Miller, PA is such a professional! She has outstanding communication skills and talked to me throughout the procedure to explain what she was doing. Highly recommended.

Been going to this practice for over a year now and have always had very positive experiences! My husband and I both see Ashley Miller and she is always really great. I had brain surgery last year and had multiple severe skin reactions due to pain medications, stress, immune responses, etc and Ashley always got me right in and would try to squeeze me in when the rashes were very very painful and bad. She always showed a lot of kindness and empathy for my situation, and tried her best to help me through a very difficult time in my life when I felt self conscious and gross. We since have gotten my skin better under control, and I’m starting to feel more like myself every day. Hopefully soon, I will be back to where I was before the surgery complications, and I know I will with her help. Thank you Ashley!!!

Very kind, professional staff. I highly recommend PA Ashely Miller. She worked efficiently and explained everything she was doing and answered all of my questions. She didnt dictate to the MA in the room like I wasnt there. Her style is more conversational, so you feel like an actual person not a chart number. Truly kind and compassionate care from Ashley and the MAs. 10/10 would recommend for medical and cosmetic dermatology.

This practice is awesome! I went in for a consultation with Ms. Ashley Miller PA-C and was really impressed with the overall professionalism and functionality of the office. Every staff member I encountered greeted me with a warm welcome and didnt just try to rush my time slot. Ashley explained my treatment plan step by step and really took the time to answer all of my questions into depth which I felt was refreshing as I could tell the office was very busy. The MA handling my chart was also very well trained in explaining my next steps and leading me to checkout. I would recommend this office and any healthcare provider here to anyone as I feel very well cared for !

I had a great experience at Gainesville Dermatology, I came to get an American version Of my Swedish creams. Nurse Nyla greeted me with kindness and politeness. She was really helpful with getting all my descriptions to my Doctor. She was also very friendly and just overall made my experience very smooth and comfortable.I met with Dr Aulisio who came in quickly to examine me. My experiences at Gainesville Dermatology (GD) have been outstanding! From the front office staff, who are always pleasant, making initial appointment scheduling and post appointment check -out a breeze, to the various skincare services provided by a great team. Most recently, I’ve been seen by Lauren-Licensed Aesthetician and Body Contouring Specialist. Lauren is exceptional; not only is she extremely knowledgeable/thorough, but very pleasant to collaborate with, as she listens to your skincare goals, and creates a recommended treatment plan of action, in efforts to help you obtain your most optimal skin. Also, if you’re serious about beginning/maintaining a healthy skincare regimen (which includes partnering with an aesthetician/or derm) this office offers reasonably priced monthly VIP programs, which come with perks and discounted services; and all services seem to be provided in a relaxing calm setting. Highly recommend GD!!

I have been a patient of Gainesville Dermatology for well over 20 years. My skin surgeon has performed so many skin surgeries on me that I have lost count. In each case, the outcome has been exceptional. Skin surgery is not something one looks forward to but with the caring, supportive and friendly environment that he provides I always come away with, “Gee, that really wasn’t so bad.”Nyla, his nurse, has a very kind and caring demeanor in addition to excellent communication skills. When you leave, she makes sure you know what is in your take-home packet and asks if you have any questions about handling your after care. She is truly patient-oriented.They are a team. They are very skilled at what they do, provide a friendly, supportive and comfortable environment and the end result is an excellent surgical outcome. I highly recommend.

My first visit was nothing but pleasant! Quick to get you back and you dont feel rushed. The front desk staff is amazing. My short period of sitting up front, I overheard 4 different patients giving them a hard time over stuff that was their own fault!!!! Being 15 minutes late for an appointment or coming on the wrong day is not the front desk fault. Especially since they do contact you reminding you of your appointment. The front desk staff handled the situations wonderfully. Please know some of us appreciate you!!!!!

This place is absolutely incredible. The front staff is so very welcoming, patient, and kind. Then the medical assistant, Rachel, walked me back to my room. She was very pleasant and nice, and made me feel so comfortable (coming to the dermatologist is quite frightening for me as I have a family history of skin cancer and have a skin condition myself).I only waited for 10 min, and then Dr. Aulisio came to see me. He took his time to get to know me and did the MOST THOROUGH skin check Ive ever received. He was professional, kind, and I felt he truly cared about my health and well being. I have never met a more knowledgeable and professional dermatologist.I HIGHLY recommend going here! I have NEVER had a bad experience. Hands down, the best clinic in the state of FL.

Have seen Dr Anthony Aulisio numerous times as well as husband and friends. Wonderful physician, very thorough, helpful, communication excellent. Has caught basal cell and other dangerous cancer spots. A true life saver! Also staff , Rachel helping today. Kind and understanding. Putting patients needs first! Hats off to all. Office run very efficiently, just a few min waiting time in lobby.

Most of the negative reviews, I believe, are from either inpatient people or just people that are hard to please. I had a great experience as a new patient. I was taken care of and left very satisfied. The staff were a bit stressed today because they got bombarded with calls, but just a few small jokes kinda cheered everyone up. They are cheaper than other dermatologists in town (for people like me that dont have insurance). Im very appreciative!

She explained everything that she was doing and was very gentle with the injections. My husband has had several skin cancer surgeries here with Dr Aulisio. He is a great Dr with an awesome personality. He makes you feel comfortable and explains everything he is doing. His assistant Rachel is great. She made my husband less nervous before surgery, had everything ready for Dr Aulisio, and took great care of him afterward. The experience went smoothly and without any problems. We only waited for five minutes before being taken in for appt which is a lot less than most Drs. Thank you for such great care.

I saw Dr. Keith Whitmer for a skin check. I wound up having a biopsy and subsequent Mohs surgery. Dr. Whitmer was knowledgeable, personable, thorough and efficient. He took the time to answer all my questions, and was empathetic to my apprehension. This was my first experience with dermatology services, let alone skin cancer. Dr. Whitmer’s care helped me understand the process. In fact, everyone I encountered on staff was professional, helpful, and appeared to be focused on patient care.

I have seen Danielle Ratchford twice now for Micropen treatments for my acne scarring. I have had a great experience each visit. She is great! She listens and cares and takes as much time as you need to make sure you have all your questions and concerns answered.She even came in on her day off to see me because I wasnt able to come in on her work days because of my husbands work schedule and our 2 children. I will definitely be back for more skin treatments ;)

This place is suburb! Theyre super nice, intelligent, understanding, and work with your schedule. Alison is just great. I feel like everyone here truly cares about the patients. I have had the pleasure of being seen by some of their doctors and PAs and I have always felt that they are giving me 100% genuine care. They are all very knowledgable about their speciality, there is never one question of mine that goes unanswered. If I ever need a refill, I get it right away and if I ever need to be seen for a follow-up the providers are great about getting you in! Definitely recommend this practice to any adults, college students, or children!

I first went to Gainesville Dermatology in February of 2019 after months of struggling with Adult Onset Acne. I tried every topical skincare regime I could get my hands on! Nothing would work and I felt at a loss. Finally I made an appointment at Gainesville Dermatology. The staff was extremely nice! Ashley Miller listened to my worries and assured me nothing was wrong with me, I was just suffering from hormonal acne. She prescribed me some pills to balance my hormones and two topical creams. My acne cleared up in a MONTH! Thank you Ashley for giving me my confidence and face back. I highly recommend Gainesville Dermatology!!!!

They don’t try to push unnecessary products on you and are willing to work with what you already have (a plus when you’re a broke college student!). Dr. Canova is a wonderful dermatologist who really looks out for her patients and does her best to help them with their skin needs.
