    I had a lot of reservations about laser because I have darker skin, but my experience here was incredible! I had a lot of coarse hair growth on my face and chin and it was a major source of insecurity for me for years now. Not only did my treatments drastically improve my quality of life, but Suzies shining personality was so comforting to be around during the whole process. I really felt like she cared about me as a person and client and went out of her way to accommodate me. She reassured me about my aforementioned reservations and was also just a blast to chat with! I found the pricing very reasonable and the quality of service outstanding. Couldnt recommend this place enough.

    She is the sweetest, friendliest woman ever AND is AMAZING at her job! I got a laser treatment done to remove some red dots and spots, specifically a very bright red dot on the center on of nose and immediately after my 1 and only appointment, i could already see the results, and within a month ALL the redness was completely gone!! i was in and out so fast, treated so kindly even though i was scared for my first appointment, she even tested the laser on my arm before starting so i could see how painless it is. I’m so much more confident now and could not be more greatful!

The establishment is always clean and the set up Suzy has is brilliant, it makes you feel safe and secure during your treatment.     I was very impressed with the Laser and Skin Care Center of Gainesville. My dermatologist recommended it. Suzy is very professional, attentive and does an excellent job. I had great results after only 5 treatments. I think I will go back once more as she suggested and then will be done.     Back in September I was searching for laser hair removal for underarms and became absolutely appalled st the prices. Other offices wanted $1,300 for 12 treatments and that was with a discount. Somehow I came across a FB post for locals asking for the same thing and someone suggested Suzy. I called and saw she had a special going for 6 treatments. Reasonable pricing and great reviews I went in for my first treatment nervous because I wasnt sure how my pain tolerance would do. Overall, Suzy assured me and explained what I may feel, offered cold packs for numbing as well as talked me through the entire process. 10 minutes later the 1st treatment was complete! I was ecstatic for the almost pain free and quick treatment with amazing results. Today I have finished my 6th and final treatment and Im almost sad because Suzy was amazing and so flexible throughout the entire 6 months! Her customer is above excellent and she is so easy to get along with! I will always recommend Suzy to anyone and everyone. I cant say enough good things about her service and her work!     I have loved my experience at the Laser & Skin Care Center and especially working with Suzie! The free consultation with her was great. She was thorough, knowledgable and able to break things down in a way that was easily understood. Although the removal process can be a little uncomfortable, she takes the time to walk me through the process and makes recommendations to make the experience more pleasant.     This place is amazing!! Suzy offers awesome promotions for her laser hair removal services, helping tremendously with the cost. I starting coming here February 2020, and unfortunately had to wait a few months due to Covid before I could finish my treatment. Suzy was understanding and offered accommodations every step of the way, and now after 7 treatments, my hair is almost completely gone! The results were better than I could have expected, and if I ever get laser on other parts of my body I will definitely come back here! She also has really thorough cleaning procedures, with temperature checks at the door, mask requirements, and sanitization of all surfaces after each customer. Suzy is incredibly welcoming, and talking to her is like talking to a close friend, despite her sessions being super quick.     I had been wanting to get laser hair removal for a long time but kept pushing it off. This year I decided to take the plunge and did a bunch of research on all the local places, comparing prices. Suzy with Laser & Skin Care Center, not only had affordable options, but she allows for good deals on individual sessions whereas other places if you want a decent price you have to buy a package of 6 or 8 sessions when you may not even need them all. Ive done 2 sessions so far on my underarms and bikini line and before I started Suzy walked me through the hair growth process, what to expect, how to care after. The session itself was pretty quick and painless and she provided ice packs and put on a cooling gel afterward and even offered a numbing cream for the next time. Very friendly, made me feel comfortable and made me feel like she actually cares about whats best for my skin - even suggesting to wait to do other areas because my skin is currently tan from the summer months. Whats more, the laser hair removal actually works. I noticed a huge difference after one session - not as drastic the second time, but she mentioned thats to be expected. I definitely intend on getting other areas done and will be getting them done here!

    What an amazing experience I had at the Laser & Skin Care of Gainesville. From the moment I walked in, Suzy greeted me with a smile on her face and made me feel right at home!     THE ABSOLUTE MOST REWARDING EXPERIENCE!!! I have type IV (olive) complexion and I had been struggling with unwanted facial and body hair for years. One of the greatest precautions I read Online before choosing to do laser hair removal was, “make sure you find someone who knows what they are doing”. I was especially concerned with the problems associated with my skin type, but after speaking with Suzy who thoroughly answered all of my questions and concerns and who shared that she has been confidently treating thousands of patients of all skin types for over 10 years, I knew I was in good hands. Every visit has been such a pleasurable experience and more importantly the results are AMAZING.     Going to the Laser & Skin Care Center of Gainesville was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Im so mad at myself for not doing this years ago. The results are amazing and Im almost a year out from my last treatment. Ive heard horror stories from friends who went to other places, but I had a fantastic experience. Suzy has all of the latest equipment to make the process as painless and effective as possible.     This is THE place to go if you want to look fabulous! I met with Julia recently. After spending some time asking me what areas were most important to me and what my expectations were she came up with a plan.     I did laser on my chin and my armpits and it was amazing. I used to be so insecure over my chin and always had to cover it up with makeup before I left the house. In one of the before photos, i’m wearing a full face of makeup and you can still see the dark patches. After just four sessions, my hair is completely different in both my chin and my armpits and my dark patches are practically gone. I have always dealt with really dark coarse hair and I don’t even think about it anymore. She explains everything when you go in there and knows what she is doing!!!

    My husband and I went to the laser skin and care center of Gainesville today. We saw Julia for our botox. We own a salon in Gainesville and have been to many skin care places and by far Julia has been the gentlest and nicest person we have met in the business. Shes very gentle and very affordable. Suzy is also there for any of your skin care needs for facials and chemical pills which we will be back for ASAP. Again I tell everyone go see Julia if you want your botox done.     I was really nervous to get lasered for the first time but somehow Suzy makes the session fly by and Ive never had lasting irritation which says something fabulous about how well she knows her stuff. A coworker of mine was getting lasered somewhere else and showed me her massive discoloration all on her jawline which the people from her place told her was normal but Ive never had any problems like that here. Also my results have been fantastic, I will never go anywhere else!

    I cant speak highly enough about Laser&Skin Care Center, which I recently visited twice while visiting Gainesville. First, Robina Shapiro was extremely knowledgeable about what my skin needed (dermaplane and cool lifting), and both procedures together made an immediate impact on the texture of my skin. I really appreciated the fact that she isnt pushy about products but recommended 2 that have already made a difference in the few weeks that I used them. Shes the consummate professional and its obvious she cares deeply about helping her clients.. Later I saw Dr. Carmichael for injections...what a delightful man. He is so careful and considerate, and the results were fabulous. To boot, I found their prices extremely reasonable as compared to others in the region. Ill be back for sure!

    Im so glad I decided to come here! I have a very low pain tolerance and was nervous I wouldnt be able to handle laser hair removal. Suzy was extremely sweet and great at making me feel calm. This place blew others out of the water when I learned that they apply skin numbing cream prior to treatment so that the pain is reduced tremendously! I could barely feel the laser and feel silly for being nervous for so long! Go here, you will not regret it!

    Julias work is quite simply phenomenal. As an artist and healthcare professional myself, I recognize both her professionalism and attention to detail. I arrived at the Laser & Skin Care Center of Gainesville one evening when my regular skin care professional (from another office in town )could not be seen. A little nervous, I planned on requesting that Julia only do a minor touch up- some Botox. I figured, it would hold me over until I could go back to who I was comfortable with to receive filler. I watched as Julia closely studied my face. In her, I recognized the eye of a true artist carefully measuring and creating her vision. She, like my prior physician, noticed the rather extreme asymmetry of my face. But, unlike the physician I had been seeing, she was willing to correct it! Julia, I feel, went out on a limb in suggesting that she only put filler on the right side of my face as it would then create symmetry with the left. What a suggestion! What insight! Sure, for a moment I felt a slight hesitation due to the fact that I had grown accustomed to hearing other skin care professionals simply say, The two sides of your face are so completely different, and they would leave it at that… I trusted Julias vision that day, and she is now the only woman I will let sculpt and beautify the face that I show to the world. I trust her explicitly. I enjoy her as a person. I feel that she genuinely cares about my well-being. She makes me laugh, and I feel confident she will always deliver and exceed my expectations.
