    Iā€™ve been getting my back and shoulders waxed at this location since 2018. My tech has always been Marilyn. Sheā€™s always professional, funny and very meticulous. The front office staff is always very friendly and helpful! The business is always clean and organized. I highly recommend UniK Wax Miami Lakes!

    I had a recent visit with my wax lady ALINA! She is the best. Ive tried several ladies here and not to discredited them, but Alina has been the best.She is friendly, polite and very patient. She makes the experience very comfortable. I recommend her 100%.

    Niurka is great! Both my mom and myself have been coming to this location for over a decade. We wax our bikini, upper lip and eyebrows here. The member rewards are also great if you are a monthly or frequent visitor! Make sure to use your phone number after every visit or your card if you frequently visit the center.

    I have been getting my wax done for years! My waxer marilin is the best, she been my waxer since my first wax. The girls in the front desk are awesome, I have called for last minute appointments or last minute changes and they are always able to help me and squeeze me in. they even call you if there has been last minute cancellation to check if you want to come in earlier. I 100% recommend and have your service done with Marilin, sheā€™s the best!!

    Joanna is amazing! She so nice she has lots of experience. She is super quick. I was done within 15 -20 minutes for a full bikini wax front and back and Im a bigger woman.     My go to lady was Kivelis unfortunately since she left i was reading online looking for someone as good or better and i came across Marilynā€™s name a couple of times so I decided to go with her and it was the best decision ever!     Very friendly front desk staff. The lady who performed the service did a great job at making me feel comfortable and talked me through everything. She also gave me some tips for future self care and services. The office and room itself was very clean and organized. The only minor thing is that it did smell like pee a little. But it went away after a while. I would recommend and Iā€™ll be visiting in the future.

    I havent had my brows waxed in about 15 years and it looked it! Shaping them with brow razors is a nightmare so before our summer vacation, I decided to ask people on the app Nextdoor for recommendations and someone recommended Yeni at Uni K Wax in Miami Lakes. I found their website and set up an appointment.The office is very clean and the staff are all super friendly. I didnt have to wait very long (less than 5 minutes) to be seen.Yeni is fantastic!! She shaped my brows so beautifully and was very sweet. Its been about a month so I decided to go back and keep going back regularly. I just made another appointment to get my brows cleaned up. The location is nice and pretty close to where I live. Im just so happy I found a place that I feel comfortable after all these years.Definitely make an appointment and ask for Yeni!

    Had a great experience! I have been waxing my own legs for about a year and was just so tired of how long it took me and how much pain, so i decided to let a professional take the reins! I have VERY sensitive skin but Marilin knew exactly what to do! Cant say it was painless because letā€™s face it itā€™s waxing, but the level of pain and discomfort I felt was relatively short and honestly less than when I did it myself. Def worth it! The location is clean and the staff of very nice. As a plus size woman Iā€™m always very self conscious about my body, but they made me feel welcome and didnā€™t bat an eye! The first thing I loved about Uni K Wax was that it was all-natural hypoallergenic waxing service. When I was choosing a location I noticed that Miami Lakes had the best reviews and from there chose Marilynn. I have been going to her ever since ( itā€™s almost been 9 months! ) I absolutely love my service every single time!! She does my eyebrows perfect too! She is so detail oriented and is always asking how iā€™m doing. I recommend all my friends to this location and her! I have never had an issue with appointments or rescheduling. 20/10 Overall would recommend to everyone.

The technician was very caring and considerate of my daughters feelings. She didnt cry, proud Momma moment! She received a free treatment because it was her first visit. That was nice as well. I must also commend the management, she explained prior to beginning that their may be a slight language barrier however enough was done and said with great understanding. Once done, I did have translated to our technician that I appreciated her skills and bedside manner. Very professional and extremely clean facility. Give them a chance. We did and It was worth it! (Unibrow and mustache removal treatment)

    Very clean, was here before COVID-19 as well and the quality hasnt dropped at all. Staff is very polite and friendly, and you dont wait more than 5 min for your appointment. I did not take off any stars, because they do have excellent quality of work... just keep in mind that no matter how carefully and clearly you book a specific service, remember to again tell the wax person before they start exactly what you booked so they dont do the wrong service by accident. It was not intentional, and they were sorry and it was all amicably resolved. They were very professional and I appreciate their effort to find a way to make it right. I will return to this location and I do recommend them.

    This Uni K Wax location is my new favorite! The staff is warm and welcoming, the facility is extremely clean, and the visit was quick and easy. Paraben free wax makes me happy. My technician, Joanna, was incredibly sweet, considerate, and patient with me even though its been months since Ive had this service and acted like a baby lol. 10 out of 10 for both her and the lovely receptionist whos name I unfortunately do not recall.     Everyone here was extremely nice. They are following social distancing procedures even taking ur temperature when you walk in and with 6ft stickers on the floors.     Ive been getting serviced here since 2009, where I started just doing my eyebrows. Since then, Ive pretty much done the majority of the services they offer, and I have never left disappointed. I usually come as a walk-in and get serviced by whoever is available. I can honestly say, they are all very professional, knowledgeable in their craft and equally friendly. I would say prices are reasonable, considering the areas theyre waxing, the quality of the wax and the actual service. You can always catch the location being cleaned at random, which is definitely something that puts my mind to rest.

    Had my first appointment here today at 3:30pm. The receptionist was very friendly and checked me in promptly. Didnt wait for more than 5 minutes before Suleny called my name and started the appointment. I was very nervious to get this done as im very insecure about my body and i tought it would be very painful, but I have to say that Suleny made me feel very confortable. She is the only reason I didnt rate them a 5 star bad employee and very out of her place with the way she talks about other patients who have done services their.
