    Thank yoooooou Amparo!!! I LOOOOOVE MY NEW LOOK!! I totally forgot to take a before picture!! Ughh!!! My hair was long waist length looking old.. I love, love,love it! As I wanted. Amparo very nice, professional, active listener lady!! Decades and decades of experience and licensed! Blanca is my girl too lol.. She was off today so I tried a new stylist in the Salon (not that she is new) and no regrets! Amparo also gives you hair tips! Every time I come here never goes wrong 🙂... Great customer service, clean, friendly and professional .. Affordable prices with an excellent outcome. I Highly recommend this Salon.

    Great experience! Went in for coloring (from black to brown). Thelma was very helpful and explained the process before coloring my hair. She was very quick, gentle and professional.

    LOVE IT!!!!! I got highlights and the keratin treatment and Thelma did an amazing job, she is truly an artist! I have (or had ) big puffy/frizzy Dominican hair, and it is so much more manageable now. If I dry it with curlers it comes out smooth and straight, but with a lot of volume as though it had been blow-dried. And when I let it dry naturally, it looks like a tamer/better/calmer version of my natural hair... WAY more improved ( I can even de-tangle it in minutes now without breaking any hair! Something that would have taken hours before!!! ) So easy to wash too, Im really loving my new hair! Thanks Thelma! :)

    Got a fabulous precision cut pixie by Thelma! My usual stylist was out of town and my pixie was starting to look like a mullet! I walk-in and was taken care of right way. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating of my limited Spanish. Wonderful neighborhood feel. A little Hollywood gem!

    Thelmas Hair Design is the best kept hair secret in Hollywood. It is a Dominican hair Salon, and even though I dont speak Spanish, we manage to communicate very well. I have been going here for 6 weeks, and I can see an amazing difference in my hair.My has grown over an inch since I started going there. Carmen is my stylist, and she is amazing. She is very gentle with my thin hair, and I cant wait to see myself by December.I do not miss waiting in the typical black salon while your stylist gave 4 people the same appointment. Im in and out within an hour to an hour and a half.Thanks Thelmas, thanks Carmen!

    Luz spent 5 hours to colour and add highlights, cut and blow-dry. I have very unruly frizzy hair. Result was amazing. Also gave very good haircut to my husband. Not looking for a great hairdresser any more.

    I got my hair relaxed here. It was a great experience and it wasnt overpriced. Even though I couldnt speak any Spanish they treated me really nicely. Miledis was awesome when she did my hair. Having the wall in option really helped in my situation.

    This review is for my last visit to Thelmas Hair Design.I paid a much-needed visit to this business earlier this month. I was in dire need of a haircut 💈. If you like the idea of having a nice lady who has a gentle courtesy trim your hair, and wash it for $20, youll feel right at home 🏡 here!Generally, the folks who work and visit here as customers are quite friendly. On the downside, if you want a short haircut, dont count on it. Thelmas Hair Design is more of a hair-styling place than an actual barber shop. Keep this in mind, especially if youre a guy, like me.Reviewers Edit: If you happen to arrive at this business and you notice their door is locked, but you see customers inside, KNOCK!! As long as youre wearing a mask and willing to have your temperature taken, the staff will gladly grant you access. They serve all nationalities, too!

    I have used Thelmas for many years. Never have I walked out not perfectly satisfied. They do a beautiful job, are friendly and follow exactly how you want your hair. Millie follows my wants even though Im sure sometimes she doesnt think its the correct choice. Had my nails done today and the manicurist did a wonderful job. When I leave there Im always pleased and know I look better than I came in.
