    Katelyn is the best! She always does a wonderful job with whatever nail art/type I want to do and she’s quick and efficient! I just moved to the area about 8 months ago and this is the best nail salon I’ve been to. It’s pricier than I usually pay but worth it!

    I haven’t got my nails done in probably 15 years! I went in feeling very nervous about the outcome. And Amy was FANTASTIC!!!! She took my Inspo picture and NAILed IT!!!! 10/10. I will be returning. Highly recommend. The salon was very clean and tidy. Everything was organized and in order. It was a very smooth sign in process and checkout was seamless.

    Feeling so much better after getting my nails done :) Regular gel manicure. I didnt catch the nail techs name but she was super nice and worked fast yet paid very close attention to detail even if it was a simple solid color. No push for designs or acrylics like other places. Will be coming back in a few weeks. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

    Mia is wonderful, so talented and friendly. I followed her to this brand-new location. The place is supper clean and calming. It was very busy for a Tuesday night. All of the technicians are freindly and fast. Everyone looked very happy.The entire staff is amazing.

    Tony did an excellent job with my nails. He worked quickly and professionally, and the pedicure massage was incredibly relaxing. After standing all day at work, I needed to pamper myself after this long week.

    Absolutely amazing, I am very picky about my nails. I came here three weeks ago and they were amazing. However, when it was time to fill them I decided to go to a place closer to work in Gainesville. A decision I promptly regretted. I came back to 1981 a few days later, and they fixed me right up. THESE NAILS ARE PERFECT. They werent even upset with me trying a different place, just took me back with open arms. Thank you so much, I will never go anywhere else!!!!

    I have been there twice! Both times I saw Tom the owner and he does a amazing job! They will keep my business. They also did my daughters and I was super happy with the results! They were super friendly to her too.

    Tom did my acrylics and he made sure each NAIL WAS PERFECT!!!! I went back because this place is amazing. I had my toes done as well! This cat eye is insanely beautiful! So happy with the service and the fact that they are new was that much better! Tom is amazing!

    This was my first time here. I was a “walk-in” and the place was packed. I picked my color and was in and out of there in less than an hour. Don was my nail tech (pedicure) and he was AWESOME! Professional, thorough, and my feet look amazing. Best pedicure since my arrival in Florida 1 1/2 yrs ago! I will definitely be returning and requesting Don!

    I really gambled on this nail appt. Read some reviews, picked the picture of nails I liked the most and then requested that nail tech (Mia) but she wasnt in today so instead I let them choose who was doing my nails. I got Amy. Its clear that shes been doing this for several years. She was very fast and very good. I changed my mind about what polish I wanted a couple times before we got to that step but she just wanted me to be happy, no problem. Ended up not getting polish and got a chrome powder and top coat instead. Was in and out in an hour. I love the results and will definitely be back to this gorgeous salon!

    This is my favorite salon, the staff isamazing and they aim to please. I walk out feeling very pampered and confident with my beautiful nails ready to be seen. If you have the chance I would definitely come in, you will not be disappointed.

    The absolute best place and people. My techs name was Jasmine. She was phenomenal! I came in for a polish change and wax and I was blown away by the entire establishment and staff. The overall cleanliness of the salon as well as the equipment and tech they have is amazing! This is definitely the place to be and Jasmine is the girl you need!

    My Mani/Pedi with JULIE was wonderful. She is a master at her art. She was kind, knowledgeable and very relaxing during my procedure. I recommend her to any customer. I am a very satisfied customer.

    First time I went, I wouldve rated it a 3 out of 5It was clean, they were nice and not too badly priced for what I wanted. I told a Friend about where I went and she recommended Tony. I went again today and as a Walk in was taken by Tony and he did a WONDERFUL job! He didnt say no to anything I wanted and took his time in making sure I was happy with what he was doing and talked to me The whole time!     I just moved here from NH and had to find a new nail salon. Im so happy I picked 1981 salon. My nail tech, Tiffany, is amazing. Today was my second visit and once again I am so happy. I like an almond shape to my nails and they are perfectly shaped and beautiful. I dont usually get any designs on my nails, but Tiffany suggested it on my last visit and I loved it, so I went with one again today. I have already scheduled my next appointment.

    New to town and was looking for a new nail place. Tried another where I made an appt, arrived on time and walked out 20 minutes later. Totally great experience at 1981. They took me on time. Completed a full set (acrylic) French manicure and a basic pedicure in two hours. Super efficient and clean. Tiffany was wonderful. Thank you. Highly recommend.

    First time going! Wanted to spoiled myself for once and thought why not give this place a chance. I’m so glad I did. The place is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. I had Tiffany for my nails and pedicure. She’s such a sweetheart and patient with me. I’m deaf hard of hearing so it was kinda hard for me to understand her but she made sure I understood before going forward. I truly appreciate it. She did wonderful work on my nails and toes! Thank you! ☺️

    Have been coming here since they opened. The pricing and hospitality is very nice. Variety of colors and services. There’s something for everyone. Luna is my go to person but they all are wonderful in this establishment. Relaxing and soothing just what we all need. Thank you Luna I love my fall harvest nails🎃🌸

    I went to 1981 Nail Salon to do my nail. The salon is very nice and clean. Lily did a wonderful job with my nails. Lily is a people person and a good listener, she always do a beautiful design with my nails. The staff always welcome you with a smile and they are very polite. The atmosphere is relaxing. I highly recomend 1981 Nail Salon. Keep the good work.

    This was my first time going to this nail salon. Recommended by a friend. Jessica did an amazing job with my nails. She took her time and listened. I didn’t feel rush like I would with other salons that I have tried in Ocala. Jasmine did an amazing job with my daughter’s nails as well. Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks again ladies.

    Cute a classy new salon to the area! Very clean and sterile pedicure bowls with disposable liners and jets. New files and buffers used. Huge selection for polish colors and reasonable prices. I had a relaxing pedicure done by Jasmine and a Fill with gel with Jessica. Both girls did a fantastic job! Im so glad I found this new place and its only 10min from home. I think this may be my new regular place.

    Today was my 1st visit, and I will definitely go back. There were several pedicure options to choose from. My technician (Maria) was thorough in cuticle detailing and the different products used felt luxurious. After leaving another nail salon that I went to loyally for the past 19 years due to a decline in service, this was a great choice for my next nail salon.

    Been going since the business opened. Everyone is always welcoming . Mia does my nails she is fantastic . I usually get an organic pedicure and dip with nail art. They are certainly in line price wise with other places and they do their best to make sure you are pleased.

    I’m very happy with my pedicure I received today. I got an upgraded pedicure and my feet feel so smooth and relaxed, the paint looks great as well. Very clean, friendly and welcoming staff, and close to home. The price is comparable to other higher quality nail spas in the area ; I’ll definitely be coming back .

    I found this salon from a Facebook ad and so happy I did! I had just moved here from New York and had not found a salon I was happy with, gave 1981 a try when they opened in Ocala and I am beyond happy!!! I had Tony today and he is amazing 5 stars isn’t enough! I like all the people there but Tony will be my new guy for sure!! Thank you and good luck I hope your here forever! I moved to Citrus Springs now and still drive over 1/2 hour for their amazing service and recommend them when I receive a compliment on my nails!!

    Best modern nail place that I could find in Ocala and CC. I asked for coffin french tip and got EXACTLY what I asked for. It cost me $70. The salon has a relaxed aesthetic and the atmosphere is chill. Love this place. Will be back!

    Great Place! Been coming since it opened and has not disappointed me at all! I love the fact that no matter what type of manicure I wanted they’ve always taken my cuticles out most places only do so when they request a regular manicure not acrylic, gel, dip, silk wrap etc. And if the price increased from quoted it’s probably because either they needed to remove the acrylic, polish, gel etc there is an added price for that if it’s passed the fill time period! I highly recommend this nail salon/Spa. Love you guys!

    Its a nice place. Very polite people. I do my pedicure there and its always nice.They ask you a lot of time about other services and when you answer they reply with the same question. I think it is a language barrier or business strategy I have not figured out yet. But still a pleasant place very relaxing.

    First time at the shop. I didn’t have an appointment so I had to wait awhile. The paint job was a little choppy but overall not bad. I’ll go back and try another nail tech.
