    My initial thoughts during my first visit was the presentation of the environment and staff was inviting. Socializing and Acknowledging patients went beyond the norm of check into the kiosk and someone will call you. Myself and others engaged in dialogue. 5 stars for creating such a positive welcoming. Also, I observed staff reassuring a patient that there love one is doing fine. Being triaged and meeting the doctor was short and effective. Eye to eye contact, responded to each story that led up to my skin concerns. Identified underlining issue and created a solution. For my skin and causes. This skin Institute definitely did NOT FEEL LIKE MARKETING niche to sell skin products. They got my 5 stars.

One of my concerns was justified, but Colby put my mind at ease with a best for me path moving forward. She takes the time to get to know her patients, and does a wonderful job explaining things to clients and her trainees.No matter what the results or findings are, I always feel Im in capable hands during my visit. The exams are thorough, the feedback reassuring and the conversation relaxing. The facility itself is always very clean and well maintained, and the staff is friendly, caring and well organized.

The young lady at the front desk was very kind about my mistake and asked the Nurse Practitioner Brooklyn if see could see me (which she did).     Midstate Skin the Deerwood office is amazing. The staff is always friendly, office is so clean,always has refreshments in the waiting room area and make you feel right at home. I see Sierra once a year appt or whenever I need to be seen. They checked me over to make sure that I dont have anything that looks abnormal and they do a very thorough job looking. If anything needs to be removed its painless they do an amazing job taking care of their patients. I would highly recommend them for whatever you need to have done.

    I would like to say that going to the Doctor is not something that I look forward to. As soon as you walk in the door the anxiety goes away, you are immediately greeted by friendly people. Doctor Cauthen is a world class Dermatologist, she helped me with a problem that no other Doctor had been able to diagnose in 20 years. Another important thing is that Midstate Skin only hires the best people. My last appointments were with young woman named Brooklyn. She and her assistant (I apologize for not remembering her name) were helpful, kind, understanding and very good at what they do. The were nothing short of exemplary. I couldnt be happier

    This was my first visit to Midstate, so I had no idea what to expect. The 2 women at the front desk greeted me warmly and explained how I was to sign in. I then sat down with my crossword puzzle, expecting to wait since I was early for my appointment. I wasnt seated 5 minutes when I was called back by a very friendly and professional Assistant. She explained what would take place, and she made it a comfortable atmosphere for me. Not long after that the Physician came in the room, introduced herself, and proceeded to ask me questions. She immediately started working on my problem areas, and it was over in no time. I left there feeling very happy that I had my new Dermatologist, and my satisfaction level was off the charts.

    Ive been doing Laser Hair Removal with Anna and OMG! LIFE CHANGING!!! I have super thick dark hair on my legs and Ive only done 2 treatments and my hair rarely grows back! A couple pieces here and there evert 2 weeks! I use to have to shave everyday. Its a quick, painless treatment. The laser with the cooling effect feels like an ice cube sliding up and down my leg. I had major surgery on my face with Dr. Blossom and the scar is almost invisible. They caught my husbands melanoma early and eradicated it too. We are never going anywhere else!

    I had laser hair removal done on my armpits yesterday, by aesthetician Anna.The new laser is AMAZING!!!!! 🤩 Hardly felt it! I told Anna “I could do this all day!” 😅 LolThe previous laser was a little more, how do I say “intense” 😬 Still got the job done though!But seriously, I highly recommend Midstate’s Laser Hair Removal. I will definitely be doing it again!!They offer lots of different Aesthetic Treatments, cosmetics, skin care products, and more!! If you haven’t yet, you should check them out!! I’m not at all biased, I mean, sure I work there 😉 but I was a patient at MSSI before I started working there. They cleared up my stubborn acne prone skin! So thankful to MSSI for that. It was not easy having acne and such sensitive skin majority of my life. I had acne for 19 years! Even had cystic acne for a time. Then Midstate changed everything for me. Still blessed with sensitive skin 🙄 but now I have it under control! ❤️

    I rate the staff five stars. Thorough and professional.Unfortunately I would not give the organization five stars only because their reminder texts are too numerous. One is enough, perhaps two if the appointment was made a year before.I contacted them about reducing the frequency of these texts but learned they offer only all or none. I will tolerate the overzealous texting only because they are that good at what they do.

    I reached out to Midstate with a unique issue regarding my SI joints. I wanted to test Emsella and Emsculpt to see if strengthening my core would help with the instability of my joints and reduce my pain. They let me test the machines free of charge for two sessions. Ultimately, I did feel like just after two sessions I could do some core exercises easier but unfortunately I didnt experience any pain relief in my joints. They were super nice for letting me try this and I would recommend these machines for their intended purposes. I will definitely be returning to Midstate for other skin needs!

    Perhaps the most impressive experience I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office. Very friendly staff, minimal paperwork, and I was seen very efficiently by a PA. The whole visit took perhaps 15 minutes and that included a skin biopsy.If you want a dermatology group that will see you quickly but not feel rushed, I highly recommend Mid State. Although I use sunblock and wear a gator, I still occasionally develop a mild form of skin cancer and pre-cancers. I am comfortable in the knowledge that I can depend on Midstate Skin Institute to do an examination of my skin every six months and to take whatever steps are necessary to prevent or remove any further skin cancers.     I spent 4 summers as a lifeguard and aquatics instructor, when in my teens. I know Dermatologists. The staff at Midstate, in general and Dr Cauthen in particular, are first-class. Dr Cauthen has a great sense of humor which keeps things light. She is knowledgeable, caring and talented. You would be pleased to have her attend you.
