    I had an incredible experience at Affinity Hair Academy! The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and truly invested in helping every student succeed.     I cannot thank Ingrid enough for the extension since the day I walked in, it has been phenomenal experience with the students and the teachers. I had asked about extensions and around the timing frame that I wanted to get them . The process was super easy. And can not forget the cost!! Definitely cost efficient. I went with half instead of full. I’m now about 3 1/2 months in going soon to get them fixed soon since there is an extensive amount of growth.

    My experience as a Cosmetology student at Affinity Hair AcademySo I transferred from another school before starting at affinity, since my first school was such a horrible experience and I was learning nothing. I started at affinity very frustrated with how little I knew, and eager to learn more. That being said, I can genuinely say that I learned so much with my time with them.They’re really great with going at your own pace, so if you’re a slow learner or you catch on fast, they fit to your learning style. Now, they will push you very hard, giving you a lot of clients back to back which can be a lot to handle. That being said, if you communicate when you need a break or change of pace, they always listen. Personally, if I’m going to spend a lot of time and money at a school, I would rather get pushed harder than breezing through the hours then graduating feeling unprepared.I can honestly say I’ve now graduated feeling more prepared for the beauty industry than most stylists do- and I don’t take that for granted. I’m very grateful to my teachers Ryo and Cano and of course the owner Ingrid for teaching me to the best of their ability. To anyone out there looking to enroll in cosmetology school, I would recommend this school if you are a hard worker and ready to learn!

    Id like to start of by saying how much of an amazing experience I had at Affinity Hair Academy!!! I was a student there and the amount of Knowledge I gained from the teachers there is outstanding! Im proud to say that I just passed my state exam and I couldnt have done it without Affinity Hair Academy!     Amazing atmosphere!! I came here for the first time to get highlights and I have been to other hair school services and have been unhappy. But this place has me always coming back! They absolutely know how to listen to what you want and give you exactly what you are visioning. Good job!     I love it here! My teachers are the best teachers I have ever had. I have learned so much from the teachers at this school. I love the experience they give. They stand right by you through services step by step and refused to let us fail. They work very hard and are very dedicated. From the time we enter the place til the time we go home. I would recommend everybody that wants to do cosmetology, barbering, nails, esthetics, etc. explore this school first before going anywhere else.

    Eileen was so attentive and patient with my hair. I have very long hair and has been damaged at other hair salons. She listened from the beginning, gave the best wash i have ever had at a salon and left my hair silky smooth. I am hesitant to go to salons but i am glad i decided to go to this place. The prices were great as well! Thank you, ladies!! Im definitely a returning customer!

    It was my daughter’s and I first time in Affinity School and the experience was amazing. The staff welcomes you with a big smile and friendly atmosphere. Yomaris was our hairdresser and she did an amazing job with my partial highlights and my daughter’s baliage. We are very satisfied with the service and professionalism. This will be our place for our future hair services and I will definitely recommend it! Thank you!

    I was very pleased with my new do! The students were very attentive and careful in applying the highlighter and listened to my every need. They young lady who did the style was spot on just from looking at a picture I got off of Google. Will definitely be going on a regular basis.

    Affinity accepted me as a transfer student with open arms. From out of state ,and in state. I’ve had a really long journey(20months), plenty of bumps in the road. And they gave me the comfort to know, at their school they will do what it takes to get students graduated, no matter the situation.     Me and my daughter went today for first time . They treat us like loyalty and not only that she was soo happy with her hair for me that is priceless, also I went just to do re touch and I ended getting full highlights with Sumita , she took her time and make sure that my hair was perfect, then Yohanka blow dry my hair and I left happy and satisfy. I was impressed with the team work . I made another appointment to bring this time my mom. Totally recommend give them the chance.

    I came to Orlando for my brothers wedding. My daughter was the flower girl. I called and made an appointment for her, my son and myself to get a haircut and style. When I got there they were ready and even worked in my other son for a haircut and style. They were very professional and did a great job! My only complaint is that they are a bit pricey, but I blame myself for that for not asking about prices before they did the work. If I knew they were gonna charge $30 for a boys haircut, I may have looked elsewehere for them. But overall a great experience. I would recommend them.

    I went there with a mess of hair that was damaged fried and dead and when I left my hair had life in it again. It was super silky smooth and soft. I would 10/10 recommend and I will DEFINITELY continue going to them for my regular hair care.

    I just got hair cut two days ago and my experience was the best. I had been growing out my hair since I was young and never gave it more than a trim. I decided to get it cut because as a mixed 16yr old- I need to learn to take care of my own hair. The school took me in as a walk in and had their stylist Ryo did my hair. Other places flinched at my curly hair but Affinity knew what to do. The stylist was super nice and comforted me as he chopped 15 inches off my head. I came out looking great and learning alot.

    I really had my doubts if Kenisha could do my hair or not as she asked for instructions from her teacher. But after I got the Keratin treatment and she flat Ironed my hair my hair due lasted three weeks! I went there three weeks ago i have washed my hair several times since the treatment and my hair still looks good. I will be back! Thanks Mike for reffering me here.

    Yoanka is an excellent nail teacher. She really cares about you and your education. She is more concerned with your ability to succeed in the workforce after you’ve graduated and have your license. It is a great family like environment. Everyone wants you to succeed. If you want to be prepared and succeed as a nail technician, Affinity Hair Academy would be a great choice.

    I had my manicure done by Diana and I wanted as natural as possible and she listened and aware that my cuticle are sensitive and she was gentle. She try to be accommodating in her broken English. Definitely will return again!

    These are the only people who never dissapoint. I commute far and will stop by any convenient salon on the way or even a haircuttery or something; is usually a mistake or a slight meh. I always come out of Affinity looking soo good whether for a regular cut or theyve fix some disaster another salon did. I think everyone should come here.

    Im extremely pleased with the service I received today here. I googled hair salons near the mall and I found this one with good reviews. I came in requesting to change my style( first time ever really going short so I was a little nervous) and they were so kind and patient with me.     After looking for several academies to study cosmetology, when I arrived here at affinity hair academy I liked it and decided to start with them. They have teachers in both languages ​​and they are very good. My instructor Cano in Spanish and Rio in English were also very diligent in the students learning. The owner Ingrid was undoubtedly a mentor for me, she gave me very good advice on how to do the work and taught me many techniques. Definitely recommended! I had a good experience and learned many things not only about cosmetology but also how to work in customer service, work ethics and teamwork!
