The first photo is what my hair normally looks like after blow drying, and the second is after my japanese hair straightening treatment with sandy! it took about 4 hours and she explained each step for me! sandy was unbelievably professional but also incredibly personable! she truly is exceptional at what she does and i am over the moon happy with the results (also the hair looking lighter is purely from the lighting in the car! the process did not make my hair actually lighter)

I am so thrilled I finally found someone who can do Japanese straightening here in Florida. I used to only get it done whenever I go visit home in the Philippines. And Sandy is a pro. Sandy is amazing!! Not only did she do a great job on my hair she went a step above and used THREE different levels to avoid damaging my recently at home (I know) colored hair. I highly recommend Sandy. This was my first time getting a Japanese hair straightening and I just love the result. Sandy did an amazing job. I have long hairs and It took about 4 hours or maybe a little over that and she didnt even take a little break, kept working on my hairs until the process was completed. I love how detailed and knowledgeable Sandy is. She trimmed off my damaged hairs, checked the strength of my hairs and used an appropriate concentration of solution that best suited my hairs. Around this time last year I got the Japanese hair straightening! Sandy was amazing and the results (even a year later) have been awesome. Oak Ridge Hair Design is S-Tier! The salon has a welcoming atmosphere, a clean studio with an at home sense of energy. The wonderful cosmetologist Sandy Kapp was of excellent service to me. Sandys presence and conversation from when I entered the salon to exiting was blissful, a warm, caring, bonus mother energy. We did the Japanese Straightening treatment, a phenomenal experience. Sandys work is top notch, she operates gracefully with finesse, is precise with every section of hair and is patient through the process, a true artist at her finest. My hair looks and feels magnificent, truly. Sandy is my cosmetologist! My family and loved ones as well others that seen me were filled with excitement, so amazed! Some of things said were, you look like a Final Fantasy character!, A real life anime!, J-Pop + K-Pop star! to say the few and the list goes on. I used Oak Ridge Hair Design as they advertised doing japanese hair straightening in Orlando - i usually go to new york city to get it done, but cannot right now due to the pandemic. i found Sandy on google and read amazing reviews about her - and they were 100% accurate! she did a great job on my hair and i love the end product! plus she was super friendly and i enjoyed talking to her throughout the process. the price is extremely fair and well worth it. i highly recommend Sandy and look forward to using her services again in the future!

Very happy with the results of my Japanese Hair Straightening! My hair is frizz free and shiny! I used to have to spend so much time blow drying my hair with a round brush and then flat ironing it which was damaging my hair even more. It was constantly frizzy, dry, and dull looking. Now, all I have to do is wash it and go (however, I like to dry my hair so it’s not wet). I’ve had Japanese Hair straightening at a few other salons and have had bad experiences. Some salons are very rough and really pull your hair so hard that it hurts, or the straightening wasn’t very straight or permanent. Sandy is wonderful at what she does and is very professional. Sandy really knows what she is doing and was gentle. In addition, she has a wonderful personality and I really enjoyed my time talking with her. I’m so excited I found Sandy and will definitely be coming back to see her from now on!

I got the Japanese Straightening treatment and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I have naturally unmanageable frizzy hair and straightening my hair was a few hours process. I’ve been thinking about getting this treatment for a while, but wouldn’t do it because you need someone who truly understands your hair. Thankfully I came across Sandy who took her time to study my hair and did an excellent job. Now I can’t believe my hair is so silky and straight!

I got the Japanese straightening treatment, and all I can say is it was the best ! It’s so worth it if you have very frizzy hair ! I’ve been out in the heat and humidity and my hair stays pin straight ! (I used to have curly and frizzy hair ). Sandy is so great and such a sweet heart , I loved my time with her. It was also such a great price! I RECOMMEND !!!! Do also recommend having time put aside! It takes around 3-4 hours depending on how much hair you have !!

Recently I heard about Japanese hair straightening. After doing quite a bit of research I found Sandy. I called and made an appointment. From the time I walked in today, I was very impressed with her. I was not sure what to expect other than the process would take 4 hours. She helped me to feel comfortable and carried on conversation with me the whole time. Time flew. Before long I got to see what a wonderful job she had done. After finishing she even walked me to my car. I highly recommend Sandy. I drove nearly an hour to get to her and it was well worth the drive. Call 📞 her and let her do the magic on your hair. Let me start by saying that part of my hair is bleached. So, I had low expectations and was not sure I was a candidate for the Japanese straightening process. I googled, found Sandi and made an appt. She studied my hair for at least 25min. After reviewing different parts of my hair and testing it, she told me she felt confident doing it and we started the process. I have long hair so it took at least 4-5 hours. Sandi never stopped, she worked non stopped and was very gentle with my hair (Ive done keratine treatments before and I know how hard sometimes they pull ur hair). The result was amazing, my hair looks amazing!!!!… and ultimately, she is amazing!!… she made conversation when needed and honestly the time passed by fast. She is very professional and will tell you if you are a candidate or not. She will not damage your hair, she has integrity and talent!!..and I also think her pricing was more than fair. I highly recommend. You hair is safe with her🌈

I am so happy I found this hair salon online. I moved to Florida 5 years ago but I was still getting my Japanese Straightening done in NYC. Due to Covid, its not safe to just fly to NYC at this time. So I was on the search for a new spot.Last week, I texted Sandy. She answered my text messages and gave me a price range based on the pictures I have sent her. She accommodated my Tuesday appointment request.Sandy is very pleasant, friendly, professional. I was her only customer during my appointment time. This is even more important during Covid. Her coworker also had 1 customer at the time. The salon is clean and spotless. She is only doing appointments. If you havent done Japanese straightening, just be prepared to be there for a few hours. I have thick, semi long hair. It took 5 hours. She gave me a reasonably good price. My hair is now straight and shiny. The 5 hours in the salon will save me so many hours of not having to flat iron or blow dry my hair for months. Its always worth it.I have done it multiple times in the past where I have been burnt or had kinks underneath my straight hair. You need someone who knows what theyre doing and cares of the quality and results of your hair, like Sandy. She is meticulous and made sure the chemicals were spread out and did not stay on for too long. She flat ironed every inch and made sure I dont have kinks. On top of that, Sandys easy going demeanor made it feel like i was only there for maybe 2 hours.Sandy is amazing! I dont like to share my secrets, in fear of having a longer wait time. I promised to write a review. She is one of a kind. I will definitely go back to her for my future hair needs. Youre welcome everybody. Lol

I visited this salon shortly after moving to Orlando to attend school and I would HIGHLY recommend this place! I have always desired to have my hair permanently straightened as my natural curly hair was very heat damaged from consistent straightening over the years. I hated not being able to style it daily, and even for special occasions. I threw it in a bun every day when it was curly. Even when I did straighten it with a flat iron, the humidity in Florida just resulted in frizziness and my hair always found its way back into a bun. This treatment however has become a confidence booster and I can not thank Sandy enough for making my hair dreams come true. Its been a little over a month since I recieved the treatment and I absolutley LOVE it. The humidity does not effect my hair anymore and I can not wait to learn more styles for a daily look and for future events such football games, girls night out, and other special occasions. Sandy herself was AWESOME. She was very quick to reply to my emails when trying to set up an appointment. Other salons required you to send pictures of your hair and set up seperate consultation and treatment times, but Sandy made it super quick and easy. She replied the fastest and got me an appt. the quickest on the first day I told her I was available, when other salons did not have availability until months later. She was so caring and made great conversation. She truly treats her clients hair as if it was her own and I will be returning to her when I need a retouch in 6-12 months.
