The stylists here are well trained and continually training on techniques and products. Ive been a customer here for over 10 years. If you go online to book an appointment, you can see the different stylists and their training levels and FEES. Each stylist charges by experience. They work as a group, which is also nice. Some people feel the fees are a bit high, especially men and children. However, a professional hair stylist is worth her salt when it comes to your hair. Austin is amazing and really cares! He listened and understood exactly what I wanted. He transformed my dry brassy hair to a miracle! Im so excited with the results! I am probably Alexs biggest fan.She has such light and cool energy, which immediately put me at ease. Ive seen her twice in the last few months.Both times, I booked online for full highlights and a cut. Each time, the entire appointment lasted a little over two hours. She styled it at the first appointment, and i loved it.She did not blow dry/style on the second appointment because I had to leave a bit early, so I left with wet hair. By the time I got home, it looked great as it was pretty much styled. That is what happens when the cut & color are perfect!!Also, she pulled the products best suited for my hair. Products are reasonably priced. I recommend getting the products there as it makes getting ready super simple.Lets be honest, a visit to the salon should be like a therapy session.....and it was.Thank you, Alex!Ill definitely see you in a couple months again:)

When I first arrived in Panama City 7 years ago, I asked a local where to go to get my hair done. Topix was the recommendation. I called and made an appointment and have never regretted that decision. Everybody at Topix is kind, professional, and experienced! Of course my stylist, Meagan is the best! We have done everything from simple hair color to fashion colors, longer hair to short! If you want a great experience with a stylist…call Topix!

I have been seeing Meagan for a couple of years now. She is an expert stylist who genuinely cares for her clients. She is always open to experimenting with new styles and colors for my hair. In addition, she lets me know how we can adjust each style for my hair type and offers advice about how to get the most out of the style. She also offers recommendations on tools for maintaining my hairstyle at home in between appointments. The other staff are friendly and professional. The receptionist always offers a drink and/or snacks upon arrival. They also send text reminders for appointments. I always enjoy my experience and have made this my go to salon.

I had 2 Firsts yesterday: Going to Topix and having Hair Artist Braden:All I wanted was a simple cut/trim. Keep my length and clean up my layers. I have very thin (thanks to pregnancy) curly hair and havent had the best experiences with hair cuts in the area.My stylist moved out of town so I reached out to Braden (family by association 🥰)First the shampoo//head massage was amazing - then she gave me exactly what I asked for...there was no why dont you try this or what about that which I appreciated greatly.My hair is up 99.5% of the time due to my job and even in the pony it looks full and my curls are so defined..Ill add pics later.Thank you Topix and Braden for a great experience: Ive found my new stylist and salon ❤️❤️

I called and made an appointment with Austin Maddox and let me tell y’all he’s a hair genius. I came to him broken because the person I had been seeing butchered my hair. Austin talked in length with me about my concerns and came up with a hair goal for us to achieve. The fact he took the time with me and listened but got upset when he was told I had thinning shears taken to my thick hair says a lot about how he cares. He made some magic work today and I’m already set up for my next follow up appointment. Austin, thank you for making some magic and caring about my hair. I now have a new phenomenal stylist who can work with this thick mop of hair I have. I’m in LOVE with this new look.

I have been going to Topix for a little over 7 years now. A friend recommended the salon to me when my hair stylist went MIA and I was in need of a trusted salon. I made an appointment right away and was scheduled with Meagan Dennis. I was a little nervous about going to a new person but Meagan made me feel so comfortable. She took her time talking with me to do a work up on my hair color match. She was interested in getting to know me and that made me feel special and not like I was just a warm body to fill her chair. I knew after that appointment that I had found my forever hair stylist. We’ve formed a great friendship through the years. I introduced several of my friends to her who continue use her services as well. They love her just as much as I do. Not only for her outgoing personality but for her knowledge, creativity and her drive to continue to grow in her profession. As for Topix, it is a high quality salon that employs some great people who love what they do and care for their clients. I cannot say enough good things about it!

We bring my 2 year old here for his haircuts. This was the second time and although we had a different stylist, both girls that we have had have been very sweet and extremely patient with a young kid. She listened to what we had to say, worked quickly to keep my sons attention, and was very interactive with him in telling him what she was doing and letting him hold combs and other tools. She also let him see and feel the clippers she used before hand so they didnt scare him, which we were very appreciative of. We will absolutely continue to take our son there for his hair cuts.

Topix is wonderful! When you come in for an appointment, whoever is on the desk will get you checked in right away and offer you a beverage. The team they have is so knowledgeable and collaborative. Shout out to Miss Meagan! Not only does she have amazing ability to interpret my style vision; she always takes the time to answer all of my detailed questions about styling and products. (Seriously I keep notes on all the great info she gives me!) Ive only gotten cuts and style from them (no color treatment), but with their expertise and attention to detail I would certainly recommend for whatever hair services youre looking to get. Overall Topix is a very friendly and professional salon I look forward to visiting every month!

From the warm smiley welcome walking in, to the kind catering towards your needs with drinks and snacks as you are waiting to be seated to the amazing haircuts, styles and colors, I seriously can’t recommend this salon enough! Let me also give a very special shout out to my hairstylist Meagan! From the first day I sat in her chair, she listened to what I was looking for and took the time to explain the whole process always making sure that I was ok with it all. She is never afraid to try new edgy cuts and colors with my hair (which I love!!). She is very knowledgeable, skilled and extremely talented! The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy, and the stylists are all so sweet and kind! I have been a client for years with Meagan and she is amazing at what she does. I even let her have creative freedom with my hair because I trust her so much. She and the other stylists are continually growing in their profession taking classes offered through the salon to keep up with new trends and techniques as well. I visited Topix Salon in Panama City at the recommendation of a friend after my hairdresser of 15+ years passed away unexpectedly. I was an emotional wreck the first appointment for so many reasons. God must have been watching over me because I was extremely fortunate to land in the chair of Alexis (Stout). Alexis is a fantastic stylist and I was very impressed with her color skills. I’m a redhead and finding the best tone to compliment my pale white skin may be challenging to some but she nailed it! She is also just a beautiful and sweet person inside and out. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her and her Cajun roots. She has a very down to earth, edgy, but warm and friendly personality that puts people at ease right away. Of course I rebooked with her for routine appointments. I wish I could have stayed as her client but the new year brings a move out of state for me. I couldn’t leave without sharing with her that I had gone home to visit at Thanksgiving and was pleasantly surprised to receive an unexpected compliment about my hair. My sister has been a stylist for over 30 years and is quite the confident one about her skills. I admit in all my travels across the world it IS hard to match her talents. She has NEVER complimented other stylists who have done my hair! She was completely impressed with the job Alexis did😊 I honestly think this speaks volumes, or at least it does with me. I’m definitely going to miss Alexis! I’d highly recommend her to anyone. The salon is also one of the most professional and friendly ones I’ve been in. A total Hollywood vibe that I loved!

I just moved here so this is my first experience with a salon in the area. This will be my go to place now! Mariya BEYOND exceeded my expectations. She did a fantastic job on my highlight/tone. I came here and had a wonderful experience the best I have ever had at a hair salon. I had Megan Chaplin and she was excellent ! Really professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was looking to cut off my long hair to short hair and thats a little hard to just have anyone do that. I love my hair ! I wouldnt go anywhere else. I recommend this hair salon, its worth the 30 dollar hair cut hands down. The experience and focus you get when you go there you wont walk out disappointed. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Alexis was phenomenal. I have long thick curly hair and get nervous at the outcome of my haircuts after some poor experiences (at other salons). Alexis really listened to my concerns, took the time to find out exactly what it was I was looking for in my cut, and delivered an amazing look that frames my face perfectly while keeping length and removing bulk. She even took the time to blow-out/straighten to ensure my look and cut was achieved. Alexis exceeded my expectations. She also educated me on how to better care for my hair and was knowledgeable about products. I will definitely be back. I would feel comfortable purchasing additional services and like how COVID conscious this salon is. I can’t stop looking in the mirror! I CAN NOT say enough good things about this salon and Summer. I havent had a haircut in almost 3 years and going to a salon is more nerve-wracking to me than going to the dentist. From my very first encounter with Summer I felt at ease. She sat and talked with me and my fiance about my fears and what I wanted and what would look best on me. She kept me at ease and talked to me about things I could do to help give my hair more volume and help it not look so thin as well as treatments to help but I never felt pressured to buy a lot of extra products. (Although I did gladly purchase more than just my service.)The amount of information I gained from Summer was priceless. I wish I lived closer to this salon so I could go all the time. I felt totally pampered, my stylist Jenn did a fantastic job, and I LOVE the results. Their new location is really thoughtfully set up and super close to other places I stop at in Panama City. Highly recommend!
