I researched a lot of salons in the area because I was looking for someone who was great at highlighting. Sarah was the PERFECT stylist. She brought my hair back to life with the color and dimension! She also cut my hair to help give it volume and shape. She is a pro at her trade. She is professional and friendly! It was my first time meeting her and it felt like I had known her for years! I would highly recommend Sarah!

The BEST experience ever. Summer is amazing. She took my color from brassy yucky yellow (which was my mistake) to a beautiful charcoal. My hair looks amazing!! Lovely and clean facility. Very inviting staff and Jennifer P. Does fantastic work! She was very skilled and knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. I will definitely be making this my regular hair salon going forward. They also offer online apppintment scheduling which is a huge plus if youre busy and not able to make those calls for appointments during normal business hours.

IM IN LOVE WITH MY HAIR AGAIN🥰🥰 booking online was super easy i selected imogen as my stylist and was accepted in under 12 hours which was super nice because i was a bit of a nightmare situation, breakage, banding, several different colors going on. but i was very fortunate with the stylist i got because she took her time making sure everything was perfect. i’m so thankful because i love my hair again and i honestly wasn’t expecting this good of an outcome but she absolutely killed it. THANK YOU!!!! it’s so pretty and even now 😭💙

I would highly recommend going here not just because of the overall experience and result, but because they are willing to correct any issues with the hair to meet their customer’s needs and achieve desired outcomes. Very gracious and professional culture! What more could a person ask for?

Sarah Cook is amazing at hair color and restoration. My first inquiry with her was pure professionalism..asking questions to pinpoint my hair needs and transformation goals. She sent me an entire online brochure with all her work and pricing, full transparency and information is a plus. She listens, makes suggestions and is working with me to restore my breakage and growth after a few years of harsh coloring gone awry. Ive been with her for six months now and so happy again...my hair is growing fast, looks so natural, back on track to return to my longer locks with perfect color, prevention and confidence. Ive recommended her to three people so far and they all come back and with glowing reviews and results. He has consistently given my a great cut--one for which I frequently get compliments from strangers. He also styles my grandsons hair and has discussed with him at length styling options. We were looking for a stylist who specializes in Curly hair for my grandson. George was recommended by another stylist who was moving out of our area...So we decided to give him a try. A little nervous to get his long curly locks styled and George did not disappoint. He was very attentive to what he wanted. We loved the cool hair dryer from Brazil... Just for curly hair. It was pretty cool!!George has been professionally trained in styling curly hair. George also doeseverything else... the whole gammet... Has 15 years experience. He was awesome!! Thank you so much. My last haircut was not balanced very well and looked horrible. Thankfully I found Dawn Hamil and she fixed my hair issues. She really listened to me and she was able to give me what we both thought was the right balance. For me, the sign of an excellent haircut is that you can actually style it the next day and you know it looks good.It was a real pleasure talking to her as well. She is fun, edgy and easy to talk to. I will be back and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great stylist.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted and had a full on hair consultation where my stylist Sarah and I came up with a plan. From start to finish the experience was flawless and the transformation shows that Sarah knows exactly what she is doing. She did a full highlight on me and corrected my color to make it look all natural. She went over and beyond and would recommend her to ANYONE. First of all, I have been going to this salon for several years now. I have always had an easy experience making an appointment either through the company website or directly with the hair stylist. Sarah Willhelm has been my stylist my last several visits, and I will continue to see her!! I think she has a great demeanor — sometimes I like to just be quiet and look at my phone and sometimes I like to chat and she really knows how to play off of my mood and responds the same, I love that! She listens to my requests and turns them into reality — I love my hair every time I leave her chair! She is professional, but I also have gotten to enjoy my hair appointments hanging out with a friend! 10/10 recommend this salon and Sarah!

I thoroughly enjoyed my facial- it was super relaxing, de-stressing from a long day and I felt refreshed afterwards. It was my first time experiencing the facial roller & guasha technique & I definitely recommend it! If you haven’t heard of guasha please look it up! I felt like so much tension was released and my skin was glowing. Deon used a face clay mask that was beneficial for my skin type and educated me on what herbs and products are beneficial for my skin. I had an appointment with Jorgie Lane this evening and I think I just found my forever stylist. She is so intuitive about what your hair needs and what will work with your style and face shape. She took care of every detail while she pulled out different shades of color in my hair as she colored it, then dried and styled it to perfection. I can’t wait to carry this color into the summer and definitely stop back in for a blow-out.

10th Avenue Salon is simply fantastic!! When I visited 10 avenue my hair was a hot MESS. I had home colored/cut my own hair myself for years it was super long and boring with a lot of patchy coloring and even turning tints of green at the end. I have always been anxious to go and get my hair done in fear that my hair dresser wouldn’t listen to the cut/color I was looking for, or that what I wanted would be hard to do with all the damage.That’s when I found Summer Cardwell at 10 Avenue Salon! I loved her style and before and after pictures of her work not only on the website but her instagram as well. I knew I had to have Summer do my hair, and I wasn’t disappointed!!! Summer was not only very friendly and super fun to talk to but she was also extremely good at what she does! She took my long boring damaged brown hair and gave me EXACTLY what I was looking for! A shorter low maintenance chocolate brown cut with caramel brown colored balayage. Summer even took the time to show me how to style my hair with loose waves (which I had no idea how to do)! She gave me a ton of helpful tips and told me everything she was using so I could do it myself! I was and still am in love with my new hair!!I have found my perfect fit hair dresser at 10th Avenue Salon! From this moment on Summer is my top and only choice for my hair appointment!Some extra tidbits other than my amazing hair stylist Summer :- easy appointment scheduling on the website!- each hair stylists has their own pictures for you to look at their work on the website before you chose who you would like to work with!- calm, friendly environment with lots of positive energy! You can’t help but smile when you’re around fantastic people with good conversation!- very clean spaces throughout the Salon- very reasonable prices which is also shown on the website per hair stylist and what you want done- my favorite part is that each stylist gets their own personal room to work! WOW! I feel like I won the lottery. I had a nightmare schedule & greatly appreciate the staff taking the time to fit me in. Melanie got me in basically last minute for vibrant magenta & shiny black color and a hair & bang trim/shaping. I never met her before in my life, she knew exactly what I was describing, and she did it all perfectly. Melanie was a blast to hang out with. She was sweet, funny, conversational, and made me feel like an old friend. Also, her expertise from years of experience cut my chair time in HALF! Shes a magician. My former hairstylist had moved and I’ve been looking for a hairstylist for the last several months. With the COVID-19 I’ve also been afraid to go out and do much of anything including getting my hair done. Finally, I found 10th Ave. Hair Salon through Google. First their website is super user friendly. You get to see how the place looks and a list of all their stylists. That’s when I found Summer Caldwell. I love the fact that I was able to have a free consultation with her. What a great idea!! I think I was there about 20 minutes or so with her. We did idle chit chat then got to business. I told her what I had done to my hair in the past. Showed her pictures of how I’ve had my hair done and hair styles that I like. Then she went through my hair with a fine tooth comb, haha, and talked to me about what she sees and feels with my hair. She’s been doing hair for over twenty years and her mom has been a hairstylist for over forty, so Summer is highly knowledgeable. It was extremely comforting to be heard on my likes and dislikes. I clicked with her so much during our consultation that when I went in for my hair appointment, the first thing she said was let’s talk about what YOU want. I told her that I’m very picky with my hair but, I feel completely comfortable with her that she can do what style she sees as long as it looks like as I told her, “ it’s short but that it looks like I went to get my hair done.” We both smiled and laughed and she said say no more. I’m 48 years and the hairstyle I got made me feel beautiful and youthful. I love it and so did my husband. I posted my new look on Facebook and to my friends and everyone loved it!! Do yourself a favor and go meet Summer. She’s an absolute doll. She’s an amazing stylist and I can’t wait for my next appointment. 😊😊

Imogen is my stylist here and she is beyond amazing. My hair was extremely damaged when I came to her and I asked for a Keratin treatment, which is a costly service. With that said instead of taking the $$$ for that service she declined doing it for the integrity of my hair. She wound up doing an olaplaex treatment with a cut and color and I am beyond in love with it! My hair is so much more healthier and the breakage improved tremendously!

Booked a free consultation with Bridgette and after telling her what style cuts I wanted she washed my hair and treated it with some type of mineral breakdown treatment (which made it BEYOND soft), cut, dried and styled it. It was quick and exactly what I wanted. 3 days later my hair is still incredibly soft and STILL smells fantastic from the products she used. I havent gotten my hair professionally cut in years( only trimmed on my own because I didnt trust anyone with my long hair) and I cant wait to go back again. She was awesome and friendly! Summer Cardwell is one of my favorite stylists here! When i moved to Pensacola 6 years ago i would actually travel back to Jacksonville to do my hair. Thankfully i found Summer, shes does phenomenal work at a good price. Other places here charge an arm and leg but Summer’s work is the best i’ve seen thus far and doesn’t cost an extravagant amount. Allison Frenk colored and cut my hair at 10th Avenue hair designs and I could not be happier with the experience. I came in with old grown out highlights and she did a foilayage that blended the harsh line of the old color into a color that is closer to my natural hair. She was so sooo receptive to ideas and asked me lots of questions to make sure I would be happy with the end result, including explanations of terms when I wasn’t sure what she was asking. She was thorough in applying color, and her hard work resulted in a beautiful dimensional brown that was exactly what I wanted when I wasn’t even sure how to articulate what I wanted. A note about the salon space itself, it felt professional and each stylist has their own “office” rather than a traditional salon with many chairs in the same room, which made me feel like my coloring experience was something personal and tailored to me rather than just another customer in the building!

I honestly can write a book about my wonderful experience at 10th Avenue Hair Design and the lovely Mrs. Kirstie Nettles 🤗🤗🤗. Like most women this summer.... I had what I would called “covid hair” and I was badly in need of some TLC!!! I found the salon by searching for an amazing stylist that could fit my needs!!!! I called the salon and scheduled a consultation to meet with Kirstie and upon my arrival I knew from the time that I arrived that I had found my “home!” The front desk and reception (waiting) area is so warm and inviting which means a lot now that new measures are in place because of Covid 19. After waiting for a few minutes I finally got the opportunity to meet my wonderful stylist!!!!! Kirstie is so warm and bubbly and she greeted me in such a manner that you could almost see her smiling underneath her mask...... it was almost like we were old friends who were reconnecting! It’s really important for me to stress that the design of the salon really makes you feel at home. Each and every one of the stylist work in an individual rooms which makes everything that more relaxing and comfortable which means a lot.... especially now!!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful Kirstie is!!! To me she is a Godsend!!!!🤗 She is extremely knowledgeable about her craft ,and she was very patient with me and answered all of my questions and she went in to detail about what she would be doing. After the initial consultation we scheduled an appointment and I returned a week later for her to do my hair! And let me tell you.......I left the salon feeling like I was leaving a movie set!!!!🤗🤗🤗 Thank you Kirstie for making me feel and “look” like a movie star!! I definitely will be back!!!!

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Fascility is extremely well cleaned and maintained. Hair washing sinks are comfortable. Tara and Theresa are especially talented. Call and make your apointment. Then get there early and be in the lobby waiting when they are ready for you.
