    Kurt is just so so professional and friendly. He asks questions and listens to your answers. He addresses your hair concerns with excellent advice. He prepared my hair for my son’s destination wedding, and advised my hair style after seeing photos of my dress. I was able to share photos of what Kurt and me discussed with wedding stylist, and I felt beautiful! Kurt even told me to have stylist call him directly if necessary. Kurt is simply outstanding.

    Hello person seeking beautification, grooming, maintenance - the feel-good-look-good thing. Seek no further than Kurt S. @ Fringe. The TL:DR: He is perfect from greeting to good bye the service was delivered with casual excellence and his craft, chef’s kiss! I decided to do a chop to my mid length hair and cover the gray. I love my hair everyday.The Details: I booked Fringe after finding them on Yelp they have a ton of great reviews there aaaaand I was able to get in pretty quickly. It was destiny. So I find the cute little tucked away salon and am greeted by an elegant, well styled gentlemen. His energy was spot on- friendly, professional, enthusiastic, positive. Happy day he was also who would be doing my hair and lending his 41+ years of expertise to: 1. See the pic I shared and translate it into something attractive for my features AND MY CURLY HAIR 2. Share his knowledge as a colorist to help me select a color that checked all my boxes 3. Engage me so that even though we had just met I was comfortable, confident in his acumen and felt like I was reconnecting with a good friend.Book Kurt.

    Kurt is a true professional. It is one of the best haircut I’ve ever had and he delivers every single time. He is knowledgable, talented and kind. I enjoy each appointment tremendously. He also managed to always work with my crazy schedule, which is impressive on its own, whether coming in early or staying late to fit me in. Kurt goes above and beyond for his clients.

    I love this salon! It is in a cool old Sarasota house and the staff is so nice. Magda is my stylist and she has just done some really fun things with my hair! And I have had more compliments on my hair since starting to get my hair done at Fringe then ever before. So I am a VERY happy customer and have already recommended Magda and the salon to others. One friend went recently and felt the way I do about Fringe! ;-))

    It was my first time there and it was my birthday..My family planned and surprised me with a day of pampering. Danielle cut my hair and did a fantastic job. Everyone was so kind and the the salon was so cute. Old Florida home converted to a salon. I will go back and recommend to any and everyone!!

    Wow! I found Kurt on Google. Made an appointment for my wife Carla. I had a feeling and was correct. This guy is a genius. Her hair never looked even close. He gave her instructions. Good thing. I have no clue. Lol. She is even more beautiful now. Experience always prevails. Kurt Shwaery is a good guy. Funny. Meant for his profession. Thanks!!

    It has been over a year since I first walked into Fringe and had the pleasure of meeting Karen. Besides becoming my instant friend, she makes me look incredible every visit here. I love the whole salon vibe, beach shack but totally hip. Everyone is darling and friendly and I havent said a word about how professional and talented and up to the minute they all are . We all walk out like new women/men and have such a fun time while there. I realized id be able to move to Sarasota because i found FRINGE- thank you all , you are the BEST!

    Checked yelp for a salon to try and found Fringe . My stylist was Magda. She listened to my needs, took her time and did an EXCELLENT job.I had previously went to another Sarasota salon where the stylist basically gave me thick stripes in my hair. Now imagine bleach blonde hair with dark brown stripes...ya not a good look. I tried that stylist again but asked her to just put bleach over the stripes in hopes to get rid of them. Well that didnt fix it and I felt very unheard. I explained in depth what I wanted and I hated my hair.Back to the good stuff: Magda took my hair back to the color I was used to, a cool blonde with light low lights!! Thank goodness....also Fringe is in an old house which was super cute and reminded me of my childhood home back in Michigan. All the stylists seemed down to earth, friendly and up beat!I will DEFINITELY be back!

    Magda is a wonderful stylist. My stepdaughter was very pleased with her hair cut, as seen in this photo. I returned there and was very happy with my style and most important I received many compliments.

    Rob has done to this business what most try to do and fail.He and his wife came here from England a few short years ago and have established themselves as a leader in their field and growing.I personally have watched their salon over the past few years cater to hundreds of local, satisfied clients. I would not hesitate to recommend Fringe to any of my clients and friends.

    As a long term resident in Sarasota since the 1980s I can confidently say this spa is exactly what Sarasota needed! FANTASTIC talent, service... such a pleasure to come here! My friend had a keratin treatment, my mom had an awesome haircut. I have had a blow out, and a facial. My friends love it here and so do I. Right people and right attitudes.. Want to leave somewhere feeling awesome? This is your place!
