    Used Hair Color Center due to highly rated feedbacks, including own sister (who i called crying for help!!!! her hairs like a Barbie doll... so I knew I could count on her. Sis IMMEDIATELY recommended Angelo, w/out hesitation. She IS SO Right on!)Hair Color Center is Awesome.... So Glad i went to this Professional team for Color CORRECTION!!! (& You will too). OH MY!!!!!!!TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY, by The End results (i was seriously shaking internally thru whole process, thinking there was NO Hope + it wasnt till the final end, did the reveal shine!...so, remember: Patience Really is a Virtue!)Yes be Ready, it was almost a Full days job: BUT worth it! Expect to pay- for they worked Most of the day, BUT arent You worth it?!!When needed, will definitely be going back to Angelo for future care. I went from an aging tomboy/housewife to a WOW!     New to the area and was looking for an affordable salon that could do my hair, I have a sort of complicated style, or it can be complicated, I am blonde in the front with a money piece that is larger than the average and I do darkest brown possible in the back with a strip of a vivid fashion Color in there too. I had previously been quoted elsewhere by a stylist for $90 an hour and she wanted me for anywhere between 4-6 hours...I could not afford to maintain my roots every 5 weeks at that price, so I happened upon the hair color center, went in for a consultation with June and ended up getting my hair colored the very same day. I am so pleasantly surprised and happy with my hair. My dark roots were very thick from not having them done for about 10 weeks now and June pulled my dark brown roots to the lightest shade of blonde I have seen on my hair. Im truly amazed she was able to pull them so light with absolutely no copper or bronze peeking through at all. I mean there is no orange on my hair what so ever. Im so used to having to do a purple mask even after getting it done and there is absolutely no need for one at all this time..my blonde is SO BLONDE, I love it. She did a great job on my dark brown too, it looks dark and refreshed and my fashion color: i went with a blue this time and she took it all the way to the root in the most perfect line with absolutely no bleeding into the blonde or brown, its so perfectly neat while still blending into the hair. She basically did exactly what I asked for and wanted when it came to my color and I really appreciate her work and the time and concentration she put into it. The staff here are all so kind and helpful and I really felt taken care of in this space. Ill definitely be going back when it comes time for a touch up. I normally dont leave reviews on places, but since its a good one and it can be so hard to find salons, I felt like sharing my experience:)

    First visit to this salon and WOW! AMAZING!Backstory is my 90 year old mother has been going to a small town salon in Nokomis to have her hair done for several years after her stylist in Venice retired. They could never get her color right (salt & pepper)I moved here about 2 years ago and have spent the last year or so doing the communicating with them to get the situation corrected, they just couldnt get it right. I found Hair Color Center on line and called for a consultation. We had our consultation with Angelo and everything sounded great so we scheduled an appointment for her and a trim and style for myself about 3 weeks out, to give my moms hair time for a little new growth.Initially I was disappointed when I realized that my mom was not going to be in the hands of Angelo, I thought thats who we made the appointment with! He even walked us to the front desk to help get us scheduled. However, Cindy did an amazing job on my moms hair color and is a Very nice gal! It took 4 hours to get the look she wanted but it looks fantastic! She will still go to her small town salon for her weekly wash and set but we will be setting up a standing appointment for color with Cindy!Leslie did a Fantastic trim and style on my hair and it looks and feels so great! I have long white virgin hair and dont do to much with it, its just how I like it. Leslie put a deep conditioner on it, and it feels and looks PERFECT!So, Fantastic experience for both of us and look forward to going back!Also Leslie and Cindy, sorry about the small tip....my 90 year old mom with dementia is just used to leaving a tip on her $27 hair day. I will take care of the tip next time I am in your area or on our next visit.Blessings to you both!

    I am so happy to find this salon! Angelo made sure he understood what I wanted and then expertly assessed my color needs and applied the products. Then Cindy styled my hair after consulting with me on what I needed and wanted. It looks fabulous. My hair is very thick, long and wavy. I am very happy with this experience and highly recommend this salon.

    You need to go to go to this place! You won’t be disappointed! After relocating to Sarasota, from up north, it was time for me to find a new hairdresser. We all know that can be a challenge. I did try a few other places and had “ok” experiences. However, I still wasn’t thrilled and was spending a lot of money. So I happened to see a girl with a cute hair style and color. I asked where she went and she immediately wrote down the name of the Hair Care Center and included her stylist Lori. She said, you need to go to this place! So I went and all of the other great reviews you’ve read are absolutely correct. This place has the very nicest people and a fun atmosphere. Oh, and talk about product with great prices! Plus Lori listened to my needs and gave me a great cut and also took time to discuss products with me. I even got to have an opinion of my current hair color from the infamous Angelo and he said to leave it as is, which made me feel so much better! Then Donna and Jesse really helped with my questions regarding other products. I’m still smiling thinking about the whole experience. Hope you’ll try it! I certainly will be telling everyone I know to go there!

    I had three different colors of blonde ( dark, light, brassy) in my hair, not including the roots. Angelo is fantastic. He got me to a beautiful color and I absolutely love it. Trust in Angelo to do a fantastic job. Walked out with a great cut too! Prices are great too!

    Professional service and perfect hair color every time! My redhead coloring is a challenge for many colorists I have used in the past. I have introduced several friends and family members to this salon! Angelo and Lesley are terrific and their new salon expansion is beautiful! Great color- great cuts & styling- great atmosphere!

    Angelo has been coloring my hair for years. He is a master at what he does. I always leave feeling happy and enjoy compliments afterwards. Leslie does the cutand styling. She listens and keeps up with current trends. The salon is not pretentious, but friendly and comfortable. They carry hundreds of hair care productsthat are always buy two get one free. Great place!!!

    Just wanted to say thank you to Hair Color Center!!!!!! I came in last week with a big mess with my hair color. Angelo was so professional and knowledgeable, which was exactly what i needed, he explained everything in detail. I also appreciated not to be rushed or dismissed with my questions. When I left there I knew I would be a life long customer. I never felt so beautiful! I was ready to tell everyone about this wonderful salon. Also the staff there showed me how to maintain my color and hair style till the next time I see them. By the way the hair products the product specialist recommended worked great!     Ive been a customer of the Hair Color Center for several years. Ive have my hair cut regularly and occasionally colored by Lori. Im very particular regarding my hair! Lori provides me with a very consistent and stylish cut. Besides being a skilled beautician she is a very pleasant person and I look forward to seeing her during my regular visits. The hair products are competitively priced and as a rule have special sales. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.     Always super happy to get back to Sarasota and head straight for the Hair Color Center. Angelo, the master colorist and Leslie his wife does wonderful hairstyle magic. Love all the huge selection of products to choose from. Something for every hair type. Nothing better than the new Biolage RAW plant based hair care product. Its definitely my style.     Angelo was able to fit me in last minute to fix my color which I had messed up by bleaching and toning my hair at home. He did a great job and my hair color now looks fabulous. He and his team are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

    Simply put, this is THE PLACE TO GET YOUR HAIR COLORED by truly knowledgeable professionals. No its not a hip and trendy looking place. I have been to hip and trendy having lived in NYC for 30 years. However I had to move to Sarasota to find an establishment of this calibre. Why? Read the owners bios on their website or ask to speak to Angelo directly. The owner (partners in business and life) were major players for Clairol back in the day. As I understand it, they were instrumental in designing hair color and were deployed worldwide to establish and uphold brand standards and application techniques. The place is run with almost military precision by the co-owner, while Angelo does his magic and with a watchful eye on his talented staff. That staff has to meet very high standards. I am devoted to CINDY, but I observed that everyones clients walk out feeling transformed and in a state of euphoria. The prices are reasonable. The attached store is worth checking out even if you dont get your hair done as it carries the most exciting and compressive selection of products that I guarantee you wont find anywhere else under one roof.

    I moved down to Sarasota from Connecticut 33 years ago and that is when I found Angelo and Lesley and I have been a customer ever since. I always get complements on my color and hairstyle,they are the best. Angelo will listen to you about what you want ,looks at the color of your eyes and complexion and knows exactly what color would complement you. When I go back to Connecticut to visit relatives Angelo makes up my formula for my hair and it travels with me. Last year while I was in Connecticut it was that time of month to cover those gray roots and went to the salon with my hair color and after the stylist was done another stylist working there said to her he loved my hair color and she said I wish I could take credit for it but she brought it with her from her stylist. Lesley is very patient and cuts & styles your hair exactly like you want it and if your having a bad hair day she will give advice about what product would be good for your hair. Everyone at the salon is very pleasant and as soon as you walk in the door they make you feel welcome and comfortable. I would not go any where else.MaryAnn Inglis

    I met Leslie and Angelo at the restaurant where I worked in the early 1980s. Leslie has cut and permed my hair ever since. I get a perm every three months that adds up to over 150 perms and twice as many haircuts. I always get compliments on my curls and most people think they are natural. I only wish. Lol. I would not trust anyone else to do my hair. They also have a huge supply of products that are buy 2 get 1 free. So I buy all my hair products there as well. Check it out and you will be hooked.....

    Angelo is by far the best colorist in this area. He has years of experience working with the Clairol line of color. When Clairol changed their formulas a few years ago, they flew Angelo to New York to get his expert opinion . That says a lot !Along side Angelo, is his wife Lesley. She has a talent for hair styling, along with a limitless knowledge of products to keep those styles looking great.You cant go wrong with this Duo...Jo Ann

    We live in Toronto and came to see Angelo to correct the colour of my daughters hair. She walked in the door with bleach blonde damaged hair and left a few hours later with a head of beautiful rich coloured hair. And did I mention how reasonable the cost??? Thanks Angelo. Well be back!

    Angelo is my colorist and Leslie is my hair stylist. Angelo is the Michelangelo of color. He does absolute wonders. Leslie is great with creative hair cutting and the very latest of hair styles. I am sure glad I found them.

    I have been getting my hair colored by Cheryl for a few months now and she is amazing! The last time I was in she went through my hair like the artist she is and really did an exceptional job.     I have to start off by saying I am so happy and thank you!!!! I had a really bad hair color mess.. I needed it corrected so bad I just couldn’t even stand looking at myself in the mirror! I drove all around town calling salons after salon and each one I talked to did not want to do it. My hair was bleached badly and I was stuck with orange/reddish hair which I could not stand! I wanted the color to be bright blonde. Obviously the task was too hard and no one wanted to tackle it because they did not want to ruin my hair or maybe they just didn’t know how!! Lucky for me I found hair color center called them up and they said yes please come In. I was greeted very kindly by Mr. Angelo and his wife and the woman working in the store. I really felt comfortable inside which usually I get anxiety when I do things like this. I sat down on the chair I told them I did not have a lot of money and they said don’t worry we will take care of you. He was able to do my hair right then and there!! I got lucky for once. He said people swear he has a magic wand and I am here to agree!! My hair is amazing!! It’s bright blonde just like I wanted and I can not stop looking at it! With 65 years experience If you need your hair corrected really I swear he is the guy!! He’s very sweet and mindful I recommend them to the moon and back!! Thank you again I have my self confidence back! 😁😁

    I do not color anymore, but I found this salon and have had the best haircut I have had since moving to Florida 4 years ago. If you need any hair product this is the place to go, have never seen so much product in one place. Wonderful people, Leslie runs a great business!

    Last week I decided to try to lighten my very dark roots to blend in with my grown out platinum hair... as you might guess, the result was a horrendous patchy mess of orange, brown, yellow blonde, and white. I bawled my eyes out, phoned a friend, and came to the conclusion that my head was beyond repair. On the hopes of salvaging a tiny fraction of its former glory I went to Hair Color Center today and let the Artist, Angelo work on it... I. Am. Blown. Away. It far exceeds anything I couldve dreamed and looks better than ever before!!!! Really, I cant believe someone could get this gorgeous dimensional color when starting with a nice pallet, much less what I walked in with!!! And the team!!! Oh my goodness I truly fell in love with everyone who assisted in the making of this miracle. They are all so kind and dear and were ready to help me and make me comfortable any way they could. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven to everyone. I can once again go out and public with my head held high!!! Thank you, Angelo and team!

    I had an appointment at the Hair Color Center about a week ago. BEST HAIR SALON EXPIERENCE EVER!!! They take their time to really give you the best service!!!     Love this place ....only get my hair done about every 2 years or so and they have made me look amazing just letting them do what they think is me and got it right every time.... its been a little over 2 yrs now so Im over due... but they know there stuff....and when I first went they didnt have enough time to do what I wanted and had me back at no cost later to finish the job right... ❤❤❤❤
