They were so sweet and the women who helped do my nails made them look so good, I should have had her do all the rest of them (I didn’t because my nails had all just been done 5 days prior). Best in Sarasota!!! Felt more like being pampered than just going for a pedicure. Excellent customer service!!!! I was greeted by Nu, he was fabulous! He let me in on all the New seasons colors and most popular color choices, I was not disappointed. I was then Kindly greeted by Ann, she guided me to my chair and I had the most wonderful chair massage experience that I’ve ever had. Then she presents me with a cocktail menu so I had a delicious Margarita on the rocks and I chose the Collagen Pedicure. Ann gave me the best massage that I’ve ever had and she used hot stones even on my feet, it felt like Reflexology. I can easily say this is my GO TO FOR ALL MY NAIL NEEDS!!! I watched as everyone seemed to be having the same experience as I was. There was a nice professionalism and everyone was so approachable and accommodating. Look no further Angel’s Nail Salon is Sarasota’s Best Nail Salon!!!

So, I’m back to modify my review. On my prior review, I shared my experience at Angel nail & spa. My nail technician was in a rush and consequently didn’t give her best effort on designing a respectable flower. A little back story. I showed her a pic of a nail design. She said she can do it. Five minutes go by, and she still wasn’t able to nail (pun intended) the design. She then suggest doing a marble design and a flower design, to make up for not being able to do the sweater design.Long story short, she left me with a sad flower, messy polish left on my skin, and I had bulges of acrylic, that made my nails look deform.I debated for some time on going back to have my nails done right. Angel nails and spa is 5 mins from home. I decided to go back to the nail spa. I spoke to the greeter. He immediately recognizes me and directs me to another male nail tech to re-do my nails. I think his name is hen. Idk. But he was great. He also did a great job with creating a new design and a better flower design. I appreciated that when I went back, they had me seated right away. There was no wait time and I wasn’t rushed! Wonderful way to redeem themselves.They apparently read my review, lol. When I explained why I was back, the guy who did my nails, took an excerpt of my flower comment from my online review. Nevertheless, thank you for making things right by your customer (me). I knew from the start, this business had potential of getting 5 stars. So here it is! ;)……………………………………………………………………………..Angel nails is one of my go to nail spa bc it’s the most convenient. However, when it comes to complex nail designs…. This is not the place to go. I often have to search elsewhere. I so happened to be driving by and noticed a few nail techs hanging outside about 11am. Perfect timing, one might think. I figured they’d hired a modern nail tech that’s up with all the trendy styles we’ve seen done for nail design. I ask the guy who greets me, if they have a nail tech that can do a special design. I showed him the picture and he says “yes, we have someone but she won’t be available until 3pm.” Then he says “hold on let me ask her.” He makes a phone call, and behold, one of the nail techs that was hanging outside, walks in. She asked to see the nail design photo and immediately shakes her head and says “yes, I can do that”.Lindsey was my nail tech today. Overall, she has a nice personality. Unfortunately, it seems like she was in a rush to get to her next appointment that she wasn’t meticulous and neat. She seemed frazzled when she couldn’t do the “sweater” design and finally admitting saying “l can’t do it,”this was after 3 attempts. I appreciate the effort but not the alternative flower design option wasn’t neat. Though the marble design she came up with, was nice. I settled to save us both. I would have rather came back at 3pm, then pay $50 for rushed, messy work. My nails had bulky acrylic spots, residual polish on my fingers, and kindergarten flower design. My nails looks pretty good from a distance but up close its disappointing. Personal, I’ll stick to simple uniformed polish when it comes to Angel nail. With that said, I’d still recommend.

Viet has been consistently been doing my dip powder nails and pedicures for the last few months. Let. Me. Tell. You! Hes truly the best. He thinks outside of the box and is always willing to try new crazy ideas I have for my nails. Unlike most nails techs, he has great conversations and is very relatable. Always on time and does a fabulous job. If youre looking for a more personal experience, Angel Nails is the place to go.

First time customers. Needed a quick walk in appointment, and the salon was the perfect spot. Lee did a wonderful job on my fill for my pink and white ombré nails. She was precise and listened to exactly what I wanted, shaped them perfectly. My husband had an incredible pedicure by Ann - he loved every minute of it!! Prices were very fair and the facility was extremely clean and pleasant. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you everyone!

I absolutely love Happy and Donna. They run a very welcoming, clean, and sanitary nail salon. They are very professional and friendly and their staff is a reflection of them. They are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. I came to them because my previous nail salon was closed for vacation, and loved them so much I decided to stay with them. Angel Nails does a beautiful job ! I’ve been a client there for 10+ years and they are always accommodating and professional!I often show them a picture of what color or style I want and they are very good at matching it. Ann is my favorite lady for pedicures ! She is really good at foot massages. Donna usually does my nails but I have had other technicians and they all are nice. Donna is very efficient and fast and my nails always look great! I would highly recommended them. They also have a variety of pedicure options and the massage chairs are an added relaxing touch!

I go there fairly often and they usually can take me in although they really encourage appointments. It really depends on who you get to do your nails, like anywhere. Some are wonderful, fast, efficient, others not so much. Pedicures are always nice, no matter who you get. The massage chairs make it so relaxing.

Just received another great pedicure from VIET. He is absolutely the best at what he does. He takes pride in his work and is always learning new and better techniques. I have been going to Lindsey for a couple of years now, with the exception of when they were closed for Covid, and she is one of the best nail techs I’ve ever had! She does excellent work, is very detailed and if I don’t like some thing, she’ll change it or do it over. She’s very concerned and always wants to make sure that I am happy with my nails. She’s very bubbly and happy all the time. The other staff is very friendly as well, including the front desk staff. The salon is exceptionally clean.

UPDATE: The owner went to great lengths to contact me, apologize for my experience, and make things right. I was incredibly impressed by the response; a lot of business owners just dont seem to care, but Angel Nails most certainly did. Apparently the rushed job was due to new staff - hired for the salons new, larger location - who were accustomed to a turn em and burn em style salon. The owner assured me that this is not Angel Nails way of doing business, and I think his response to my experience backs that up. I will be a little leery of it, but I will give them another try.SECOND UPDATE: I went back a second time, a third, and a fourth. They did a very nice job each time, so Ive amended my rating from the initial 1 star to 4.Thirty-one minutes for a manicure with gel polish and a pedicure. I guess if Id been looking for super fast and extremely cursory then Id have been happy.If they didnt have time to fit me in and do a good, careful job then I would have far preferred they told me so and offered an appointment at a different time. However, they were not wildly busy - despite it being a Friday afternoon - perhaps for good reason.My nails werent properly filed on fingers or toes, totally skipped cuticles on several fingers, rough skin on my feet only got a brief rub over, just overall extremely disappointing and I wont be going back.The lady was very sweet, but didnt do the greatest job and obviously couldnt get me out of there fast enough. Its a pity because they have a nice looking new location and theyre close to my new home, but Id rather travel farther and get a conscientious and unrushed job.

I cant say enough great things about the staff and owners. You dont get the run of the mill attitude of get in, pay and get out that many salons have. I’ve been going to angel nails since I moved to Sarasota 3 years ago. They’ve always done a fantastic job and I’m even more thrilled that after my stroke and inability to open my left hand that Charlie figured out how to best do my nails. My hand can be opened manually but will close back up upon being let go. The staff came up with ideas and we are working on a solution to make my manicures as easy as possible. I can’t say enough good things about them

Not only is he very personable, but he is very skilled and my nails look beautiful! The salon itself is new, large, and very nice, and the pedicure chairs are wonderful! And being served a cocktail or glass of wine while at the salon is an added bonus (the amaretto sour is delicious!)
