I recently visited Ambiance for a silk press, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The stylist took the time to assess my hair and explain the process, which immediately put me at ease.The silk press itself was flawless—my hair is so smooth, shiny, and full of life! It feels incredibly soft to the touch. I love how healthy my hair looks without any heat damage. The stylist really knew what she was doing, and the attention to detail was impeccable.Not only was the service top-notch, but the entire experience was so relaxing. The salon was clean, comfortable, and the staff were all so friendly. I left feeling confident and beautiful, and I will definitely be returning for future services. Highly recommend to anyone looking for expert hair care and an amazing silk press!

I have been with Dorinda and Ambiance Hair Salon for over 16 years. Dorinda gives me the hair that God left out. She listens carefully and educates me about the best way to care for my hair. I would never ever trust anyone else. The atmosphere in her salon is always upbeat and friendly. Everyone speaks to everyone. She won’t let you down!

Yesterday was my first time there (2/08/2013) and I loved it! I got a sew in done, and it was done to perfection! The actual owner ended up doing my hair. She was very nice, friendly, and down to earth. I love the atmosphere and everything about the salon! The only thing I wish was different is that I would have found them sooner!

Dorinda and all her staff were increasingly friendly and inviting. I had a rather late evening appointment and everyone was timely yet paid the utmost attention to detail. The name speaks for itself - the ambiance was everything you could ask for at a salon. This was my first time and Ill definitely be a return customer. Theres nothing like feeling valued. If youre looking for a stylist and team to do the job right, this is your place.

This place is great! Owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter desperately needed to get her hair done after evacuating from Hurricane Irma and preparing to go back home to school. Tameka did a fantastic job getting my daughters curly unruly hair super straight the way she likes it. Now we know we have a place to go anytime we are in Tallahassee. Thanks again!!!

Mrs. Dorenda and her staff are truly professional.. She will teach you how to take care your hair and Scap...I had no idea about treating the follicles Mrs.Dorenda educated me , she took her time treating, explaining , and ministering to my scap.

I have gone here for two years. My hair had broken off tremendously, but Ms. Tomeka started me on treatments and it has grown thicker and longer than I have seen it in years. I am sad to be leaving, because I dont think I will find a better hair stylist than her
