During my first visit I walked in for my appointment time, went straight to the shampoo bowl and began my treatment. My stylist was Cassie and she did a great job. However, I had an allergic reaction to an oil that was placed in my hair and had to get it washed out of my hair a few days later as a result. The hair salons manager had no problem accommodating me and providing this service again free of charge which was a relief. I also love that they are open everyday of the week which works well with my busy work schedule. They were easy to work with, pleasant, and provided great service.

Had my hair done for my wedding at the Tallahassee, Florida governor square mall location. Dave was absolutely phenomenal!!! Really listened to what I wanted. He made it such a fun experience. Will definitely be going there again. 10000000% recommend!!!!

David is AMAZING. If you are looking for an actual stylist you need to come here and ASK FOR DAVID. He is very versatile, soooo professional, and educates you about your hair while he is doing it. I knew he was the real deal from the wash alone! This is my first silk press in yearssss and I am overjoyed with the results. I have been telling all of my friends about him! JCP has a real gem. He has gained a loyal customer/client. After two visits I have made a standing appointment with him, he is that outstanding!

My Stylist Chassity always makes my experience Salon Appointment unbelievable. She explains each process she explains what product shell use and why. And finally Im never disappointed. Im more than a beautiful lady when I remove myself from her chair. Im confident in knowing how beautiful I really am.

I was in Tallahassee for a few weeks for work and wanted to get my hair straightened. I hadn’t combed my hair in a few days and as a natural woman I didn’t have the patience to de tangle my hair so I put I off on someone else. I remembered from my college days that JCPenny had a salon and was decently priced so I made a same day appointment. My stylist was Talasia (I’m pretty sure I spelled that wrong) and she was AMAZE! When she asked me if she could take pics because she was building her portfolio I got nervous thinking “oh God, I have a newbie and she is got to murder my hair” but boy oh boy was I wrong. I’m tender headed but I couldn’t barely even feel her hands in my hair. She was so gentle and meticulous. She explained every thing she was putting in my hair, ASKED if she can clip what was her recommended amount off my ends and SHOWED me just how much that recommended amount was. I’m not one to try to retain my length at the expense of my hairs health so I didn’t mind but she was not scissor happy. She cut what she told me she would. This was my first silk press experience and I couldn’t be more satisfied. My hair feels SO SOFT. I’m not exaggerating when I say it really does feel like silk! This isn’t some high end looking salon but the service I received was great. Im not sure about their cutting and styling capabilities but for what I received I am happy.

This account is my husband Joels, but my name is Erin McKeown. I took my niece, Courtney, here, and everyone was awesome to her. Her hair was in an utter mess to say the least. Ms. Jeda took this task without hesitation. Ms. Jeda worked on her hair for 10 hours. This is not an exaggeration. She was supposed to end her shift many hours before, but she continued on with my nieces haur until it was beautiful! This place is great. Thank you so much for everything you all did for my beautiful niece.

Lindsey was very professional and friendly, she really did what I told her I wanted, she was very patient with my bad English, Latoya was very friendly too and I could see she did a good job for another client, good prices.
