I had a fantastic experience at this salon today! This is a hidden gem. I stopped in while waiting for my car to get serviced on the off chance I could fit in between appointments and I am so glad I did. :-) Ryan was very accommodating and did an amazing job! I just showed him a couple of photos and he did even better than I imagined. Both customers there for other appointments were very pleased with their results. He is so positive and uplifting to talk to while he works. He has a beautiful vision for his growing business. I wish him all the best in his endeavors. Velocity Hair Salon is the business. Great atmosphere and Ryan takes great pride in his master art of hair. My daughter’s hair turned out lovely and lasted a long time. My hair is gorgeous. I love how Ryan talks about the care of the hair, plus knows the technique of truly styling the hair. I will definitely be back!!!!

I definitely love this salon!! The atmosphere is quite welcoming and pleasant !!! Ryan is very professional and understanding!! Give him a vision and he brings it to life x10...he provides quality work and excellent service ....*** Not only do I utilize Ryan’s services, my boys get their haircut but Robert, whom is an excellent barber... very understanding and works well with my boys!! He as well provides top notch haircuts and I have yet to be disappointed!! 😊

My mom and I had Shemila as our stylists when we went to the shop! She was incredibly sweet, as well incredibly fast! She did an amazing job for both of us and made sure we were comfortable with everything she did. She was so kind and the shop was lovely! Definitely made me and my hair feel amazing on graduation day!! Will most definitely recommend!

I got a silk press/trim and I loveeeee it! Ryan is nice and very knowledgeable about hair. Also the salon is very chic and relaxing. So glad i found him and I will be returning.

Ryan was such a professional! The salon was nice and clean. He was patient, understood and delivered exactly what I wanted... only MUCH better. He made me feel alive again. He asked me my likes/dislikes. And for those reasons and more, I will definitely be returning and recommend him to everyone

Ryan has a beautiful spirit and an amazing personality. The ambiance at the shop is relaxing and it’s always so clean. I’ve gotten bobs and silk presses done by him and he delivers every time! Would definitely recommend.

I haven’t stepped foot into a salon in over 9 years. After dealing with inconsistent stylists who didn’t care and having kids I just focused on them and just put myself on the back burner. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Ryan but was very hesitant about going so I kept putting it off. Until I finally got tired of my hair falling out and realized that it’s ok to make time for myself; I felt bad at first because the money I earned always went toward my kids. I finally made my appointment with Ryan and when I first walked in it was very comfortable and welcoming. Now I was going in for a relaxer but he recommended me doing the silk press; one thing I loved he never pressured me but gave me options on what maybe best. He helped me relax even though I was stressing him a little because “relax” is a foreign language to me lol. He is very passionate about his work and values his clients and wants the best for them. Like he say, “ All his clients are his besties.” Definitely will be making him my permanent stylist, thank you Ryan for making my first time in a long time a great time.

I came here based off reviews and recommendations from friends, so I KNEW Ryan would not disappoint. But I was not ready for how beautiful he had my daughter looking for her 8th grade dance. He lifted her spirits so much and I couldnt be happier. I wish I knew how to attach pics to this. Her hair was perfect. Ryan was very nice and respectful and told me exactly what to expect and he delivered just that. Thank you again..

Shemila Young at velocity is very professional. She explains as she goes as well as giving tips in between visits of what you should do. I was in search for a stylist, that could help with my transition. I saw them on Instagram and decided to give them a try. She is well worth the 40 minute drive. Ive been coming for 2 months now and can already tell the difference and growth in my hair. Since Ive started bring both my girls and they love it.
