    I am so impressed with this office. Literally every detail was perfect. The doctor took a biopsy from my face and my shoulder. He was extremely gentle, and professional. The ladies at the front were so warm and friendly, everyone was so kind. If you need a dermatologist, I strongly urge you to choose this wonderful little office! Even the temperature in the building was perfect. No drama, very fast, efficient.

    Ive been with Dr. Dewberry since 2016. Easy to relate to and listens to your concerns. He and the clinical and admin staff have been wonderful, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. As of 2024, I have had about 16 encounters in total, at the old and new Inverness location, and the Crystal River location about 200m east of 19. Ive never had any problem, reservation, or issues with this practice during our relationship for a decade. The quality of care is excellent, imho.The crane pics were taken in their front yard after my appointment on the way to my car on 9/5/24.

    I’m in my 60s and regretting all my years of sun worship. But so far, I think I’m one of the lucky ones. I finally went to Florida Dermatololgy last year, after watching a dark spot grow on my thigh (yeh, it’s just a freckle, right??). I was diagnosed with melanoma in situ which had to be surgically removed. It was not a fun experience to say the least, but Dr. Kenneth Wade Foster was so professional, yet had a terrific bedside manner. He made me feel at ease, was quick and precise and it was done before I even realized it! All the cancer markers came back negative…what a relief!! Now I see Cheryl every 6 months for a full body check up, and she is wonderful ☺️ I’m so thankful and grateful to have found this dermatology center. PLEASE!! If you’ve loved the sun as I have, please go get checked. It might not seem like anything (like the spot on my leg) but better to be safe than sorry!! And if you are in Winter Haven or Lakeland, do consider Florida Dermatololgy. You will be in good hands and I highly recommend! Thank you 🙏🏻

    My dad and I was not expecting that delightful experience because he thought he had visited this dermatologist before. I encourage my dad that if he did see this doctor before, this experience will be much better because Im with him. Well to his surprise 😲 he was so full of joy when he met Dr. Sellheye, whom was a wonderful man. He came in with a wonderful personality and full of joy. My heart ♥ melted like ice-cream, he was so warm hearted. Although, I took over the medical room trying to make sure I can see him and ask all kinds of questions. He was detail and although laughing with us but it took my dads attention of off his problems. He performed a procedure of an byopsy and inform us of the process and possible return visit expectations. I am not not only accompanying my dad, Im now a patient as well. I will be referring anyone that needs a listening Dermatologist, please go at least check them out first, you wont be disappointed. My dads fear of needles, knives, and doctors has been reduced because of this one doctor that seen a person not a paycheck. APTTMH for covering us and provided outstanding and professional care to my dad. Verified customer /patient valuable statement. Oh! and the staff, excellent. The facility is immaculant, clean and represented itself well.

    Today was my second visit to with Dr. Merrick at Florida Dermatology. I am so very blessed that I found this practice. The staff is kind and Dr. Merrick is so knowledgeable! I love that she takes time with me and answers every question I have! I’ve never felt rushed but every concern I mention is addressed and every question answered!This is my 2nd dermatologist but the very first time that I have seen results. I am a black woman and initially sought out a black dermatologist thinking they would be more competent about black skin! I was wrong and my initial meeting with that same-skinned dermatologist was very unfruitful! Dr. Merrick offered nothing but answers and I left with such hope after our first visit! The large keloids in my face were almost flat in less than a week after my visit. Furthermore, every problem that I presented to her is tremendously better after following her instructions. To add to this, Dr. Merrick is so personable and made me feel so welcomed and so valued! I appreciate this practice and Dr. Merrick! This is well worth the visits and the cost! #AbsolutelyGreatPractice!!!!

    I wholeheartedly recommend APRN Cheryl Campbell based on her outstanding professionalism over the past 3 years. Her medical assistant Rose is also wonderful. Unfortunately,in order to see Cheryl you will need to work through a very unpleasant communication system. Appointment scheduling appears to be run through a third-party contractor and wait times to speak with a scheduler (all of whom are very pleasant and efficient once they are available) can exceed 20-30 minutes. Additionally, leaving a message or voicemail for a clinician is an extremely trying process that usually requires multiple attempts, including the need to deflect multiple efforts to redirect one to a support staff member instead of leaving a message with the requested clinician. The final annoyance is the condescending “inspiring” message at the end of the voicemail prompts that reminds one to “turn on the light” when times are tough. It’s the equivalent of calling tech support and being asked if your computer is plugged in. Times wouldn’t be so tough if the office’s communication system wasn’t so aggravating. But, Cheryl is worth it.

    My first visit/new patient. Despite the clinic having to suddenly move over to their annex across the street because of an electrical outage in the main building, everything went well. I was seen in a timely fashion only a few minutes after my appt time, but the assistant apologized nonetheless. The Nurse Practitioner, was polite, listened to my concerns and took biopsies from 2 sites she was concerned about right then. I had expected to have to return for a visit to have that done.
