    I’ve been going to Aveda for more than a year (who’s counting). Vanessa and her team are by far the best I’ve ever come across. I started with one hair stylist and am now with Monica (the BEST ever). Vanessa has been welcoming since the day I met her and Caleb/Kaleb at Rollins. Everyone at the salon is extremely welcoming, professional, kind, and a real joy to be around. AVEDA at Mint on The Avenue is my 2nd home. They know I love them! But to be fully honest, Monica does an impeccable job with my hair every. single. time. I couldn’t recommend this salon more. Just the most talented and sweet bunch of people. I look forward to every appointment.

    I have gone to Bangz countless times for my hair and each time I am blown away by the service. Vanessa is one of the most genuine people I know. I tell what I want and then she gives me a rundown of what she thinks we should do for my hair, how much it will cost, and the best way to keep it healthy post-appointment. I have never been to a business would truly cares about the guest as much as Vanessa does. I am naturally a brunette and wanted to go icy blonde and Vanessa has gone above and beyond. She goes the extra mile to make sure that my hair is healthy when I walk out of the salon. I have and always will consider Bangz my salon and Vanessa a friend. I am so grateful to have found a hair stylist who cares about her work and the guests she brings in! No doubt, go with Bangz!!

    Absolutely amazing! It was my first time getting my hair done professionally and I was nervous because of the stories you hear from other salons. Vanessa went above and beyond! I wanted balayage and she did that and shadow roots in order for the color to look more natural. She is very well educated on hair, products, the chemistry behind it all! She was so friendly and made me feel comfortable. In the time that she spent doing my hair, she made sure it was all right and took her time for every piece, even near the end of the 4 hour appointment. There wasnt any surprise charges when I went to pay (actually got a discount!). I am not one to spend a lot getting my hair done, but this experience has changed my perspective because of how great Bangz is under Vanessas management! I would recommend 10/10 if its your first time getting your hair done or thousandth. Great service and even greater people!

    Nice place, nice haircutI call for my appointment and they told me $65 for a hair cut and the moment I wanted to pay they told me $85, I got a little bit mad but then the owner called me personally and apologize for this and she gave me the refund.That’s really nice and talk very good about them.

    I love coming to this salon for so many reasons ! The staff are caring, friendly and attentive. They have a variety of drinks and snacks including the Aveda herbal tea blend. I got a hand massage included with the highlighting service during my last appointment and it was so soothing! The Aveda hair products are so wonderful and I love the natural scents with essential oils! My hair stylist Marisa has been so wonderful and knowledgeable regarding color correction services, highlights for small sections of my hair and with providing relaxing massages! I highly recommend this salon!

    I have been getting my hair cut here since I moved to Florida 5 years ago and I will never be going anywhere else for a haircut. Vanessa (the owner and my stylist) cares so much about all of her customers and wants to make sure they have a fantastic experience and a great cut every time. I have a difficult hairstyle and she is the only stylist that can get it right. She takes care of my whole family and does such a great job with making sure the kids have a great time and aren’t afraid to get their hair cut. Also, Caleb at the front desk is always so nice and respectful, and does a great job managing appointments and reminder calls. I’m never going back to the cheap barbershops that have such bad turnover I never have the same stylist twice!

    I booked an appointment at Mint on the Avenue when I first moved to Orlando two years ago and I have been going there ever since! I have only ever received the best service and always feel beautiful and happy when I leave the salon. Vanessa is such a kind and warm person, and an amazing stylist!     For my wedding, my sister and I did our hair and makeup 1 week prior to Covid 19 shutting down everything. Vanessa and Michelle were brilliant. The salon was warm and cozy with coffee and tea to start. The appointment times were on schedule and they took their time to make sure that we were pampered with essential oils and looked beautiful for one of the greatest days of my life. Vanessa is beyond thoughtful and caring while always the Professional. I have been seeing Vanessa for a little over 2 years and she is as genuine today as the first day I met her. I highly recommend them for any event you are going to attend.

    Love love love this salon! The owner Vanessa is knowledge, sweet and walked me through the entire process. My hair is super resistant and it has been so hard to find a good stylist that can get me to the perfect color. Vanessa took her time with me and Im in love with my color. Thank you so much!!     Vanessa and her staff are the best!! I recently had a consultation with her and her suggestions were right on target for the look I wanted. She has a heart of gold and wants every client to feel and look confident and beautiful when they leave. And so glad she requires a face mask for clients and staff, doing her part during this crazy covid pandemic.     Vanessa is amazing! I can always trust her to go the extra mile to make sure I am going to love my hair. I never used to color my hair but now I go all out and am never disappointed.     I have literally gone to Bangz since I was 3 years old. Ive seen all the owners and Vanessa is by far one of best! I currently have lived in California for the last 6 years and I still only truly trust my hair with Vanessa and the wonderful stylists at this salon.     Michelle is phenomenal! She always listens to exactly what I want and pays close attention to detail so my cut is perfect every time!     As a man, it has been incredibly difficult to find a good barber. I can not recommend this place enough if you are looking for a quality cut and style and experience.Vanessa since day one has been beyond anything I could have ever expected and hoped for. To have someone take that level of time and care is something I have never been able to find. She actually took time to understand how my hair grew and which direction. The way it natural sits and grows. She took the time to understand my Aesthetic and how to best cut and style my hair and to help me with maintenance.How much she honestly, deeply, and truly cares is what sets her apart from all others. She’s simply just a wonderful human being.The entire time experience is top notch top to bottom. I also appreciate the high standards they have there and the level of cleanliness.     I found this little gem by mistake and I’m so glad I did.The friendliest salon I’ve ever been in, the service is like your in the Ritz Hotel. I had the owner Vanessa for my highlights, cut, restyle and treatments and omg it’s the best it’s ever looked and felt! Truly amazing hairstylist, full of knowledge about hair structure.     I took my then 15 year old daughter, who had just had brain surgery 2 1/2 months earlier to have a tumor removed, to Bangz for a shaping of her growing out hair. Vanessa, the owner, took great care of her. Vanessa started off with talking to my daughter, and explaining what she was going to do. She asked about any restrictions the doctor may have put on her scalp, she was careful around the incision site, and shaped up the growing out unruly hair, and told her what products would work the best. Vanessa took the time to make my daughter feel beautiful. She kept saying how beautiful she was, and how her bone structure was amazing. This was such a blessing because my daughter felt like she looked like a boy with her short, shaved hair. When we left the salon my daughter was over the moon confident, and that hasnt changed. She now feels beautiful again thanks to Vanessas kind and wonderful personality. I also had my hair cut and styled, and she did a great job with that also. Theres not enough words to describe how thankful I am for all she did for me and my family.

    Simply the best! I choose to fly in from Atlanta to get my hair done at Bangz. I could go anywhere in the ATL area. Vanessa is the best colorist and stylist anywhere! No wonder she was Orlando Style’s Woman of the Year! I love this salon!By the way, just know there are people who are posting fake reviews and attacks at the owner. Bangz and their team work tirelessly toplease their clients. Right now they are focused on providing the best of service while KEEPING everyone safe. If you see a negative review, it is usually because someone wanted Park Avenue service at Walmart prices.     Bangz Park Avenue has got to be the best hair salon in the Orlando area. If you live here and have not been there you really have to give it a try. The owner Vanessa has been trimming my hair for some time now and each visit is always better than the last. The staff at Bangz is always kind, respectful, and show nothing but professionalism.     I am new to the area (from NJ) and had a hard time finding the right salon and stylists. Independent contractors at salons was a new concept to me. I found Bangz via an online search and called for an appointment. Michelle was open at my preferred day/time. The universe led me to the perfect hair stylist for my curly hair! Not only did Michelle have curly hair herself, but she listened to what I wanted and provided the best hair cut I have ever received. I am getting tons of compliments. Will be back for sure!The salon is in a cute setting in Winter Park, inside a small open air mall on Park Ave with a koi fish pond right outside the salon door. You can make a nice day of getting your hair done, shopping and dining on Park Ave.I felt very safe visiting here. Volume was light, chairs were spaced out and they took my temperature upon entering. They also had hand sanitizer at the entrance. Staff and guests wore masks.

    I was on a trip in Australia, one of my Australians friends recommended Vanessa to me. When I came back I did my search and read the reviews on yelp too.I called to make an appointment with her, I simply said Im looking for California blond not FL blond ( aka brassy rusty blond).We chatted more throughout the appointment, she was funny, respectful and friendly. She took her time to discuss all of my demands and what I really wanted. At the time, I had darker roots and extensions in, Vanessa explained wed need to overhaul those to match my highlights if I wanted to go super light. So we did... and oh. My. God. Im so glad we did. I can honestly say Ive never been more happy with my hair in my life. These extensions are lightweight and the quality of the hair is incredible...Vanessa is also just a pro at artfully installing them. She offered guidance while picking out the colors with me during the consultation and a lot of thought into how she placed them so that they looked multi-dimensional and natural, blending nicely with the length and color of my own natural hair. Bottom line: Vanesa may be known as the hair fairy godmother, but shes also masterful with extensions, no doubt about it.Vanessa did her magic and I absolutely love the end result.

    My hair extensions always look fabulous! I get so many compliments on them. My life is super hectic right now so I haven’t had time to be back in to get them redone and they STILL look amazing.     This is absolutely the BEST salon in Winter Park! I moved from Austin, TX and needed to find an AVEDA salon. There were a couple to choose from, and Im so glad I found Bangz! Vanessa is the best!     This salon is an awesome experience. From the second I called to schedule my first appointment, I felt like family. The staff couldnt be nicer and professional. They put the time in to getting my hair right, never feeling rushed-and Vanessa was generous with samples both at the time and to take home as oppossed to pushing the product on me. She really wanted me to love it before buyng-and I appreciate that. The energy is great-by the time I left, I was on a first name basis with all staff there, from reception to stylists. The other really neat thing I noticed was how supportive Vanessa is to her staff. She consistantly gave them props and let them know all the things they were doing right and in my opinion, that makes all the difference in the world. I have already scheduled my kids back to school cuts, will refer my friends and family and will most certainly be back!

    Ive been visiting Laura at Bangz Studio for years, and they/she are absolutely amazing! Lauras cuts and colors are astounding, and I regularly get compliments on both (her ability to take hair and make it beautiful are incredible - even reversing some horrible color that another salon had done... without frying my hair in the process).Pricing is very reasonable, too (which is shocking for the level of service and quality)! They really bend over backwards to make their clients feel welcomed and important. One time when my appointment time got confused (my fault), one of the other stylists even stayed late to help me out. The owners are awesome and super helpful.I wouldnt go anywhere else. :) I highly, highly recommend Laura, but if shes not available, Stephanie is wonderful, too.

    If you want movie star hair results, this is the place to go. I have been blessed with the most professional stylist named Sonya. She is magic with hair color and no one can match her hair cutting skills. I constantly gets compliments on my hair. I can get out of bed and my hair looks awesome. My haircut lasts twice as long as any I have ever received The stylists only take one client at a time.The owners John and Janie are so wonderful and very personable. This is more than a business to them, as you will see.

    I have been going to Bangz Salon for over 20 years. And, I have always returned to Linda. Linda is an excellent stylist and color technician. Over the years we have been through multiple long and short styles and many shades of brown. I have always been pleased with the results, especially when strangers comment on how good it looks.The salon itself is comfortable. The owners, Janie and Jonti, make you feel welcome- and the hot or cold drinks help too.I would highly recommend the salon, and Linda, for first rate services.

    I LOVE VANESSA AND BANGZ PARK AVENUE!!!! I never really get my hair done and it’s something I like to splurge on. Last time I did balayage was in 2016 so now my hair was virgin. Vanessa was completely flexible on what I wanted (which is so rare because some colorists and stylists never listen to you, which happened to me last time at another salon). She even made her own recommendations based on her extensive hair experience, which made my hair turn out AMAZING!! You pay so much more at other places and don’t even get what you want half the time. This place is worth every. single. penny! Don’t waste your time at any other salon. She will do it right the first time and so much more! The Aveda products and experience at this salon are wonderful. I felt so relaxed and comfortable while I was there! Vanessa is insanely sweet and so are all of the other stylists (Michelle does AMAZING work for special events!!) take my advice and visit this salon. You will not regret it!!     This salon is amazing!!!! I had a mess of hair when I first went to Ingrid....I had a thousand different colors in my hair and my grey was not covered plus I had these nasty extensions that tangled and were very thin. Ingrid took over and gave me the blond that I had been asking for, trimmed my hair so it blended very well and just last week put in extensions to give it more body and a little length and I am sooooo pleased with the results. Previously with extensions I always had to come my hair a certain way and hair spray it so you couldnt see that I had extensions but not anymore!!!! Ingrid is amazing with color and extensions and I couldnt be happier with the results. Everyone in this salon makes you feel like family. The owner is amazing and sweet also.

    5 star service. In simplest terms, everyone here is so nice and it is such a great place to get your hair done even if you dont know what you like, you can come in and describe what you dont like and see how it is to come out looking like a star! That was how I would describe my experience and Im sure everyone has and will feel the same. Thanks Brenda for first hair cut at Bangz! I will be popping in to say hello and whenever I need to re-style!

    I have been going to Bangz now for a couple of months and I have been amazed about the quality of my hair. On my first visit I asked my sylist, Laura, to trim my hair straight across on the bottom like I have been asking stylists for years. She explained to me that no one has ever done that for me! After months now of fixing the damage to my hair caused by other salons, I will never leave Bangz!! My hair is fabulous and growing well. Laura is amazing too and always ready to chat. I am in the salon every five weeks now and the staff is starting to become my second family!

    Lovely people and a nice salon environment. Receiving a mini head-massage during shampoo is a highlight for me. I also like the Aveda products and the diffused lemongrass used in the restroom. Sonia, my stylist, always does a beautiful job with my highlights and color.

    By far, the best salon I’ve ever been to! I’ve been to all the other high end salons in Winter Park and they don’t come close to Bangz.     The service here is outstanding! Vanessa is the best! I’ve been an Aveda customer for 3 years now and just moved in the area. This place is exceptional and everyone is so sweet and kind.
