I was gifted a Fathers Day package at hammer and nails. She didnt tell me what the place was and thats probably for the best because I wouldnt have signed up for a manicure or a pedicure. But once I got there I went with it and the atmosphere is A1. Ive got an actual bar with a complimentary drink. My preference is the smoked old fashioned. I liked it so much that I ended up buying a monthly package and Im now a VIP member. Every 2 to 3 weeks I come in for a haircut manicure pedicure. Other amenities include TVs for each chair with wireless headphones so you have the ability to watch and listen to anything you want. One of the best things is that theres no smell of nail polish or acetone. This place cares about the details and utilizes scented candles complementary lotions drinks. Its an entire vibe. Check it out. If youre looking to get your guy a gift, send them here. Youll both appreciate it.

From calling speaking with Angela over the phone and in person to get the tour of this space was a pleasurable experience! Hailey & Paris was wonderful as well! And the haircut experience was top notch with Alyssa as well! She took her time and did not rush the job! Easy to talk with as well and was comfortable right away! Looking forward to my next visit!! My usual barber moved so my girlfriend bought me a membership here. Checked in and first thing they do is make you a drink. Taylor was great and sharp with the eyebrow wax and Adrian who cut my hair was nice, asked questions, and cut with a lot of detail. The standard membership is definitely worth it. Very nice atmosphere inside

This was my husband’s surprise birthday gift and he absolutely loved it! Tierney was awesome! She gave him a flawless trim and shave. My husbands skin/face looks amazing as well. Although I didnt stay while he received his services, I got a quick tour of the place and its so cool! Its like a man cave. This is such a unique spot and a great birthday, Fathers day, valentines day, or any day gift!

I had the pleasure of meeting Damion, who gave me a sharp, precise haircut, and Taylor, who did my nail care services, and both were excellent. Incredible services provided.They have a calm “man cave” environment that is incredible for pedicures and getting away. They have the classic open area for hair cuts. The staff is incredibly professional and skilled. They serve delicious mixed drinks along with the service.I don’t think guys take care of themselves as much as they should(I’ll speak for myself. I definitely don’t). This place makes it much easier. I appreciate and recommend this establishment

I liked all of the products they used that have a great scent but still very masculine. Grissel was fantastic! I went in today to get my haircut and it was an amazing experience from the moment I stepped in to the moment I stepped out. Angela is the absolute BEST at being the hostess of this place. Her warm and bubbly personality definitely set the tone. I got my haircut by Justin P. This man is an artist with the tools. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and the cut was exactly how I wanted it. He is now my barber moving forward. If you are a member and get a chance to get cut by him do yourself a favor and BOOK YESTERDAY! If you’ve never got the top tier grooming experience I would say give it a try with Hammer and Nails. You may end up getting hooked as much as I have. I have no regrets about being a member of this place.

TVs, super comfortable chairs/sofas , a complementary old fashioned.They offer a wide variety of services from the traditional haircut to a full salon experience. Wow! All I can say! For the last few years have been looking for a place to be a “regular patron” at and have definitely found it. The other places I’ve tried (Kennedy’s, Floyd’s) just seem like assembly lines and constant changing barbers! Great experience with Justin and his attention to details and skill with straight razor is something seldom seen. Along with my complimentary drink of bourbon, I was set! The monthly memberships are something to seriously consider as they roll over to next month as well as can be assigned to someone you may want to treat. Tons of various services to choose from.

I tend to be a bit sensitive about having my feet touched, which usually makes me fidgety. However, Grissel was incredibly patient and made me feel completely at ease. Mano santa. As a VIP Founder, I was greeted at the door with great respect and enthusiasm followed by a drink on the rocks and given a tour of the establishment followed by a great conversation and treatment. Alyssa was amazing conversationalist and very meticulous on the styling of my hair cut and beard trim, not only did she make it memorable but the experience itself reminded me of the older barbershops in a new modern style, definitely worth being a member, and I can’t wait for my next visit.

So when I learned about this business opening up I was thrilled to have all these services in one place including haircut! But not just convenience, luxury and manly which is awesome.I’ve never had a barber perform a shave but I no longer want to shave myself anymore because of how great I look when someone else does it. I’ve had Justin a couple of times and he is highly skilled and totally cool and I’ve never looked or felt better when leaving another establishment after a cut of any kind.To me, as a man this is a no brainer. The environment inside is excellent. The services are premium and refreshing. And the end result exceeds expectations.

The services I received during this visit were a premium cut, a premium beard grooming and an ear wax add-on. My barber/stylist was Justin and the facial (waxing) technician was Paris. Im a long-time local and have patronized many of the barbers in the Winter Park/Park Ave/Hannibal Square areas.After a cheerful welcome and greeting by Maddy (who also helped me book earlier over the phone and was engaging and patient as she answered all of my questions thoroughly), I was offered a complimentary drink from a respectable selection of spirits (Oban scotch, Woodford Reserve bourbon and Grey Goose vodka are three that come to mind, but there were other high end offerings for a variety of tastes). There was a small but classic cocktail menu and the drinks I saw were very well prepared.My impression: Guys, it was great.I needed an updated look because of changes in my hair pattern due to some age-related hair loss. Justin was amazing. He took the time to listen to and understand my thoughts and offered possible approaches. We discussed our options and decided on the style. He executed the cut perfectly and lifted the mirror a few times through the process to check in and ensure I was comfortable with the progress. Im very happy with it, from a cut perspective 10 out of 10.Beyond that though, this was hands down the best grooming experience I have ever had. The attention to detail and the additional time given to the various processes demonstrated the teams commitment to providing an exceptional experience and outcome. From the pre-shave cleansing through the post-shave soothing treatments incorporating generous amounts of facial/scalp massage and using an assortment of products and multiple hot towel applications, it just felt amazing. Justin finished up with a refreshing cool towel application for the face, and a final styling up top to bring everything to a perfect close.First time getting the ears waxed. Paris walked me through what to expect and it went fine. (It did wake me up, lol.) I like the result and plan to make it a regular add on.This was an enjoyable, relaxing break where my satisfaction and enjoyment were the clear focus of a group of skilled professionals. They are now my home shop and Im really glad to have Justin in my corner to keep my cut sharp.I booked the nails part of the experience this upcoming weekend. (The nail area reminisces of a speak easy with oversized club chairs and large screen TVs. After the great experience in the barbers chair, Im really looking forward to it!)Big thanks to the team.
