Jewel is absolutely amazing! She really listens to your wants/needs and is a master at diagnosing your hair on a personal level. Different hair requires different skill sets and she has all of them! NICOLE IS THE BEST BEST BEST. I’ve never been with a hairdresser and colorist that really listens to what you want to achieve and get you there or as close as possible with what she has to work with. Eric and Carolina are the heart and soul of Salon South Flow. I’ve been going there for the last several years to have my hair straightened, and have always been very happy with the results. The new location is more spacious, and Eric’s art creates a super cool vibe. My process takes some time, so I’ve seen some real transformations leave the salon … besides my own. Always innovative, they are now offering a rejuvenating Japanese scalp massage (FREE 30 minute session) that I’ll be returning to try soon. Whatever your hair needs are, you’ll be very happy with the staff and services at Salon South Flow by Resta!

This was a positive and lovely experience for me! Eric and the entire staff welcomed me and my quirkiness. I was nervous about bringing my own hair products (I didn’t know I am not the only one who does this!). I was also nervous because I haven’t had a haircut in about a year, and this was my first time at this salon. Eric talked with me at great length (haircut pun) before the actual “procedure” and listened to my fears and explained exactly how he would cut it. He is a really cool person who is calming and confident, and he didn’t laugh at my questions or worries. I am happy to have met a stylist who I am comfortable with, and I am relieved that I don’t have to wait another year to have a haircut. Thank you!!

Cannot say enough about my fabulous experience at Salon South Flow! From the moment i walked thru the door until the moment i left I was treated with but exceptional service. I was checked in by the most pleasant young woman at the front desk and Luiza promptly had me in her chair and we started our appointment. I am transitioning from a diva curly cut back to a regular cut and was nervous how it would work. No need for that! Luiza was nothing less than positive and reassuring explaining everything and making sure i understood. I have recently moved here and so happy to have found my new salon! You wont be disappointed!

I had a fantastic experience at Salon Resta. This salon has the best staff. It’s a very positive and welcoming environment. All of their stylists are fantastic and very talented. I have used Jessica Dobson several times already and am very impressed with her talent. I love the way she cut my hair recently and two weeks ago she did my color, balayage, toner and blowout for a photoshoot and I LOVED how it turned out! I would highly recommend her. I am very picky and most blowouts I receive don’t last, but hers just kept getting better. Jessica is very patient, talented and an expert when it comes to my hair and I’m sure hair in general. I would not hesitate in recommending her.

Feeling at peace and relaxed while getting the mane maintained seems to be a bonus these days but SF nails the good energy and ease of it all. I enjoyed a complimentary full-body-relaxation 30min head massage and wash from Carolina one of the salon owners, joined with golden hair and scalp care tips from Jewel during my cut and complimentary blow out. Second to none service and results which is hard to come by; South Flow is your place for hair.

A classy lady with a LOT I mean a LOOOT of knowledge in hair , I enjoyed every moment of my blow dry experience starting with the shampoo and conditioner and her massaging technique, than how she applies the right products that my hair needed, the blow dry was fast and relaxing too yes relaxing, which was a surprise for me since normally it’s not that enjoyable with hairdresser that pull my curly hair , I can’t wait to be back to experience more traitement with her for my hair . This salon has 300+ 5 star reviews for a reason. Found a gem in Boynton for mens haircuts. It seems like every stylist here is top notch. I didnt know anyone so I was placed with Orga. Let me start with i hate getting haircuts! I gave him free reign to make me presentable for job interviews. Not only did he cut great but he was very friendly. Good barbershop talk very positive, and also more than happy to answer all my dumb questions about the basics of haircutting. The price is mid to high, but for me Id rather pay a little extra for things like haircuts and save elsewhere...its really not that high. I will be back for sure. CALL ME WHEN YOU GUYS ARE HOSTING THE JAM SESSION!

I recently came back to Salon Resta, I mean, salon south, a year or so ago since they moved to Boynton. Carolina, owner, and hair colorist. THE BEST colorist ever!!! I wanted to go from dark brown hair to blonde without destroying my hair. Well I will tell you. For the first time, I actually found a salon that listens and after many years I am thrilled with my color. Love it! Carolina. You and Eric Rick!! To my hair stylist, Luiza, you are The cutest and the Best! She does my extensions and cut. Could not live without either of them. But beyond that, the staff is all amazing, Caroline, sorry, probably misspelled but she knows who she is. The ultimate manager!! Came here since all the reviews were pretty awesome. Im glad I did. I came to get a balayage and a blow back in March 2019, before my graduation. After a couple days I realized I wasnt satisfied with the color. I reached out to Carolina (color specialist/owner) and she told me to come in and get it fixed at no extra charge. She really strives to make you happy and gives you what you want in terms of color. Every one here is very friendly and nice. Ive been coming to her since! I really recommend her ❤️

Six months ago, I had my first haircut from Eric. I really liked what he had done and found him to be a very welcoming, intelligent and warm guy. Two weeks ago, I returned to him after having grown out my hair much longer than my old profile pic. My hair looked great when he was done but, as people with wavy/curly hair will know, it takes a few days to see how it really turned out. I took a gamble on this place because it is convenient to where I live, but I knew nothing about it other than what I saw on Facebook. I was so frustrated with a high-priced chain salon who could not get my color right, I thought it was worth a shot.I started out with Louisa, who was quite candid and said I would be better suited with the owner, Carolina, doing my particular (and peculiar) color. I appreciated her honesty. Carolina has gotten my super chunky highlights -- in all the right colors in all the right places to perfection -- like I always wanted.As for my cut: I thought I was happy with my previous cut, but Louisa tweaked it to be far more flattering for my face. Also, I never realized that having such a great cut is, A, so much easier to style, and B, I can go much longer between cuts so I am ultimately saving money.Price-wise, they are not cheap but they are less than my previous salon. If I give up a few martinis or Starbucks a month, I can afford it. You get what you pay for!Lastly, everyone is down to earth in this salon and they take their time with you, especially at the shampoo station, which is my favorite part!

Coming from New York I had high expectations. I spent about two years bouncing from place to place. I finally fell upon Salon Resta. Eric the owner did my hair. It was truly an experience. He is a true artist. Not only is I his place filled with an artistic cool vibe with local artists work on the walls, but the way he studies and styles my hair is truly indicative of the work of an artist. Strangers constantly come up to me asking where I get my hair cut. I am more than elated to tell them. Another thing I love about Eric is that he loves Long hair!!!

Wow! I am so happy to be referred to Salon Resta. I came to them after a bad die job killed my hair, so thankful I did. Carlolina brought it back to life immediately with a keratin treatment tailored to my specific needs (keeping the curl/eliminate the frizz) and colored corrected it perfectly. Eric sculpted my hair one strand at a time for a super thoughtful shape that I am sure no one else could do. Not only skilled at what they do, but the nicest people around. Let me start by saying I went and had a consult for color at 3 different places over the past few days, because I was really sick of overpaying for color that I just wasnt happy with. I couldnt find a hair colorist around who would really listen to me and correctly give me the color choices, which included going from brown to light blonde, that I asked for. So I went online and looked up 3 highly rated salons and went in to each of them. Ultimately, I decided to go with Carolina and am so glad that I did! She nailed it...I brought pics and she did EXACTLY what I wanted! She just gets it! It seriously looks better then I couldve imagined. I LOVE it, and I was a nervous wreck before...lets face it, your hair can make or break your look. Ive been getting my hair dyed over 20 years and Ive never had a better salon experience, and they are totally reasonably priced! Not to mention that shes super easy to talk to...shes impossible not to like, and so is the salon. So, If your reading this give her a try...I am so grateful to have found her- THANK YOU CAROLINA :)

I love how my hair looks Carolina did the highlights beautiful!! I had very dark hair and wanted to be blonde she was able to accomplish that. My only issue is the prices are way to high I paid over 400 for a full highlights, blow dry and a cut! I understand it was a process to get my hair blonde but that’s a lot of money. I would definitely go more often but these are prices I can’t keep up with such a shame because this salon is great.

The color blended so well and the highlights didn’t look too “streaky” as can often be the case with lighter highlights in dark hair. Becca is also super personable and friendly. I had an appointment scheduled for my hair 2 weeks before my wedding and they canceled on me last minute so I had to do some research and found salon resta in delray and decided to give it a shot. I met with Erika and she took the time to listen to me about what I want and gave me the most amazing hair cut and balayage. I’ve never had a stylist take so much time to make sure my hair was perfect and now I have the most beautiful hair for my wedding. From the coloring process to blow drying she was a perfectionist. I moved to South Florida about a year ago and I have had HORRIBLE experiences with different salons in the area. I looked up Salon Resta and thought why not. I went there and everyone was so friendly and my stylist, Luiza, was so understanding and gave you so many different options based on what youre looking for. I told her all my experiences with the studios here and she could tell I was nervous the entire time she was cutting my hair. She did AMAZING and she showed me how to properly curl my new hair. Eric is a magician! I have very flat thin Asian hair, a bob might only takes one hour to cut , but my hair took over two hours, the whole process Eric was extremely patient and passionate with details. I never thought my hair could look so full and with such a cool fun style with short hair, I was so shocked after the cut and really admire Erics superior skill and artistic manner. He doesnt talk much when he is working as he is so focused and meditative, I can tell he loves his job and really view giving you the perfect hair cut as a form of art. I say he is an magician because after his artistic cut , now my hair just falls into the perfect style all by itself no matter how I shake my head, and I dont need to do any styling at home. Wow, what else can you ask for with a short hair cut! I think Eric is that kind of professional who will always go for perfection and go beyond your expectations.

I absolutely love this salon. I get my hair cut by Eric Perna and colored by Carolina Perna. My hair comes out looking amazing and exactly as I want it every time. They have a high attention to detail and genuinely enjoy what they do. The staff is very friendly as well. Its a nice environment. Its definitely a pricier salon, but I dont mind paying a little extra because the quality is on point. Ive been going to Resta for years! Luiza is absolutely amazing! She listens to you during the consult and offers expert suggestions to make sure you look your very best. I have really thick hair and a lot of stylists end up running short on time and only half drying my hair and asking if thats ok. I begrudgingly say yes because I dont want to put them behind. I love Salon Resta and Carolina is an amazing colorist! I’ve been going to her for years to change up my color and I recently went in to lighten my hair for spring/ summer. I opted for a full foyal/ báyalage, which I’m always a bit scared to do bc I have naturally dark hair, which is stubborn to lighten without the brassiness. But Carolina was able to achieve the exact shade I wanted AND keep my hair healthy and long!!! She’s nailed the color as always and I’m so happy with the results!!!

Where do I even start!? My fiance and I moved to Delray just a short while ago and we have been absolutely loving it. Today, I love Delray even more. I did some research on hair salons in the area and I came across Salon Resta. The description of it being a laid back atmosphere, and reading all the happy customers reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I requested a 9:00 appointment this morning at around 7:45AM (SUPER late and obnoxious of me) and Carolina called shortly after. Despite my late notice and the salon already having appointments, she somehow moved things to get me in with Laura. I didnt realize at the time how amazing of an experience it would all be! From the beginning of the phone call with her and the moment I stepped in the salon, Carolina greeted me and was so unbelievably sweet! (I worked in customer service for years and people who did things like I did with the late booking, were not that loved...understandbly so). Carolina kept resassuring me that they were happy to get me in and soon, I met with Laura and I now have the best highlights and haircut Ive ever had. I cant stop looking at the color and cut! Laura was nothing short of AMAZING! I cannot thank Carolina or Laura enough for everything this morning! Thank you, Vanessa and Caroline also! I will see all of you lovely ladies soon! I have a few things to say…1. Amazing people 2. Great atmosphere 3. BEST HAIR CUT I HAVE EVER GOTTEN…but I didn’t just go to get a cut, I went to fix a hack job someone did to my hair last week. There was not much left to work with as someone cut the shortest layers into my once long hair, long frizzy curly hair no less, but Micheal did MAGIC. Absolute magic! He gave me the hair cut I have always secretly wanted, and only dreamed about, when I thought the worst had happened and nothing was possible, Michael made a masterpiece of me!!! After trying about 30 different salons in South Florida, I can honestly say Resta is the besta. Ive been going here for years. Carolina is the best colorist Ive ever had, she really listens to your preferences and uses the best techniques to get the dimensions you want. Erics haircuts are addicting, (if you go here.. you get it). The stylists here are artists (literally, theres Erics art everywhere) and they take you through the process before even touching your hair. If youre looking to put your pinky up in a pretentious snobby atmosphere, this place isnt for you. This place is my down to earth haven to get pampered and relax in a creative/eclectic atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to feel beautiful while listening to some chill tunes.
