He has exceptional bed side manner and takes all the time needed to explain your issues, discuss treatment options and conduct surgery. He has taken care of both my mother and me removing skin cancer, putting skin grafts and removing cysts. I would highly recommend him.

Galt Dermatology is absolutely the best dermatologists and aesthetics in Fort Lauderdale. I have been getting botox and filler here for years. I had gone to a few other aesthetics clnics around the area and was looking for someone who had a more medical background. Dr Villacorta took his time with me and discussed all of my options. Honestly theyve struck gold with their team. One phone call with Angela to book the appointment and I felt like her friend for life, and then meeting her was pure joy.Dr. Babinski has amazing bedside manner, so knowledgeable and really made the whole experience so pleasant. It is not often I take time out to write a review but this place deserves more than 5 stars. The staff here is absolutely amazing. Starting with receptionist, Angela! Even before my appointment she took her time answering all the questions I had and made me completely at ease, she was super kind when I checked in she talked with me like I was family! Im sorry I forgot the medical assistants name, but she was very sweet and made it a safe space for me to be open about my concerns and was extremely helpful during my visit. Dr. Villacorta was professional, understanding and was quite educational during my visit. I usually do not like going to the doctor but this place has made such a great experience for me, and for that I am so grateful! Amazing team, I am a very happy patient, would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

This has got to be hands down the best MD office visit I have had. I have never met such an enthusiastic, compassionate, caring group of people in my life. I had some serious concerns about my skin health and the whole staff made me feel so comfortable and cared for. When I called, I explained that we had tried everything to help my sons hands that were horrible with a terrible rash for the past 3 years. He was in pain, embarrassed, and I had no idea what to do. His finger nails were starting to deform & he could barely bend his pinkies. I was completely desperate & in tears. Angela spoke with me, and she was so kind and caring she gave me hope. I was shocked at how much she genuinely cared, it’s not the norm nowadays. I booked my appointment because of her.When we saw Dr Villacorta he took his time, and he LISTENED to me. He was thorough, asked my son several questions, explained what he thought the problem was & told us exactly what to do. He truly cared about my son. He gave us a cream (over the counter)and we were on our way, but not before having a tearful grateful hug with Angela. She literally got up from behind her desk, walked around and hugged me. And I cried. Again.We put the cream on immediately. In 2 DAYS, my sons hands were remarkably better. 2 more days and I could not believe it. So much money spent on so many things, so many diff Dr’s, cleanses, lotions, etc…and he fixed my son’s hands in one visit.I am eternally grateful for this office & the amazing people that are in it. I will never go anywhere else. And I tell anyone who asks me to go see him & his beautiful caring staff.I truly love them so so much, and am eternally grateful. ♥️

I was even able to speak with another office member with my same skin condition, who was able to give me additional advice and skincare recommendations.- In no way did they push products or make you feel obligated to buy anything (although, they are truly very quality with clean ingredients and well-priced!) Andrea thoughtfully explained things to me, gave me prices, reassured me there was no pressure to buy anything, and made everything make sense! Dr. Villacorta has to be one of the best physicians I’ve ever been treated by. He spent considerable time with me explaining all that I needed to know about my condition. He didn’t just see me as another churn and burn patient. He took his time. I was amazed at how much knowledge he has and what a great teacher he is. His staff was warm and inviting. Made me feel so comfortable even though I was about to undergo a surgical procedure. Amazing doctor. I will officially call him my dermatologist for life and highly recommend him to anyone.

Imagine this: you enter a doctors office and youre greeted by a smile. Seems impossible, right? WRONG. Angela and Juliet up front, and Tessa the medical assistant, are the nicest and happiest people I have ever encountered in a derms office. Dr. Villacorta is incredibly knowledgeable, with a unique problem solving approach likely gained from his past experience working at NASA. He started his treatments very conservative, without pushing a big expensive procedure on me as many derms do. Definitely the first derm I’ve felt truly cared.

I visited Villacorta to identify 3 areas that I was concerned may be cancer, but I really didnt know what they were. I was looking for in and out as fast as possible, all 3 areas identified and explained clearly, with all areas treated or biopsied at a fair price on the same visit, and a non-rushed doctor. Which is exactly what I got.The doctor, Villacorta was right on time, even a few minutes early. He identified all 3 areas within seconds, and explained what each area was. He answered all my questions, then treated all 3 areas in the same visit. Thankfully all cosmetic. All done at a fair price for a cash out-of-pocket payer. He also was not rushed to move on to the next patient and spent the right amount of time with me. This doctor has the increasingly rare skill of communication and not only is he an intelligent person overall, but also still down to earth.All here at this firm were very helpful, and its obvious that everyone working here cares about their patients interests, as well as for their business. The office was clean and orderly. Excessive treatments options were not pushed, not even mentioned, and they did not strike me as the type of business that are interested in extracting as much as they can from my wallet.Abby, the person I spoke with to book the appointment was clear on the initial visit cost and explained the likely procedures and their costs as well (which is usually impossible to get a clear answer on from anyone in the medical community). Appointment scheduling and information exchange was flawless, easy and I really appreciate that it was all performed online prior to the appointment itself. 4 other dermatologists in the area did not even respond to my email asking for the cost to identify / costs on biopsies / and if they could either biopsy or treat within the same visit, but Abby did and all before 8am. Thanks Abby!The assistant, Ashley had me in a little early, excellently and clear with all information.The front desk receptionist also had me checked in right away, I didnt catch her name though.Im usually brutal with reviews of doctors. But, my experience with this firm was excellent. A rarity when visiting a doctor. If I need a dermatologist in the future, I will revisit this firm.

I came to see Dr. Villacorta on 9/2/2020 for him to look at my skin and help me get on a Skin Regimen for my skin type. His staff (Alma & Alex) had me take a Skin Type Solutions Regimen, which consisted of answering a few questions about my skin, and that gave Dr. Villacorta what I would need to use in the Morning & Evening for my skin type. He was very thorough, answered all of my questions and took his time in educating me about my skin & preferred skin care products. I also received Botox in 3 areas of my face. Alex, his Medical Office Mgr., took photos prior to the treatment. And in 2 weeks, Dr. Villacorta is providing me with a 2 week follow up appointment to check up on my Botox results, and will then take after shot photos of the final results. In my opinion Dr. Villacorta & his staff are very professional, knowledgeable, kind & caring. The treatments I received from Dr. Villacorta were very gentle & painless.
