Update as of August fort lauderdale location is closed. Im so disappointed, as it was much more convenient for me to walk there as opposed to driving 40 minutes to either Aventura or Pembroke pines.I love the fort lauderdale location! The parking is free, even the garage across from the plaza. Ive been getting laser hair removal treatments for over a year and very satisfied with my results! Even after the first treatment I felt the confidence of not having to hide my face and getting to wear the tops I want without being insecure. I recieved treatment on my full face/chest. I suffered from excessive hair growth in these areas since I was a teen, and the money was well worth it! I recommend it to all of my friends. I opted for the lifetime warranty, so my touch up sessions are free even after I finished treatment months ago. Looking forward to having laser treatments done in other areas.

Arleht is the gal who takes care of me for my laser tattoo removal and some other things, she is amazing! Shes so knowledgeable in her field and so patient. I love body details. I was interested in laser facial rejuvenation & laser hair removal. So, I scheduled a consultation and met with Brittany. She was very knowledgeable, understanding and made me feel very comfortable. She was able to put together a package and provided me with flexible payments that really met my needs. The Nurse Practitioners, Caroline & Elise, are very skilled and professional and are really personable. Every time I come in for treatment, the entire staff makes me feel right at home. Best part, the results are incredible. I have people constantly asking me what Im doing differently to my skin because it is glowing. And let me tell you, being hair free is amazing. I no longer have to deal with annoying bumps and my skin is so smooth. If youre thinking about doing it, this is the place to go!

What an excellent experience so far at Body Details Fort Lauderdale! The staff all around is amazing and starting from the initial consultation I have felt very welcomed. I am now my going on my fifth session, I am currently removing about 10 tattoos off of my face due to walking a new spiritual path in my life. I can’t even think of another place that can make you feel as comfortable as here! Brittany Initially started helping me get acquainted with the services offered and the comfortability of working with me to figure out how far I was willing to go to create a new path for myself, Kaitlyn also has helped above and beyond getting the right appointments on the days I would prefer and the most comfortable times to fit around my schedule! Much love to both of these ladies for helping with this every single time. I had my first session which was I was nervous about because of how much had to be done on my face, needless to say I did not know what I was getting into and left discouraged after the first treatment(staff member who no longer works at this facility) I did not know if I made the right decision. 8 weeks later Ana ended up being the removal specialist for the treatment, and when I tell you what a complete 360 from the first experience here, I mean it. She made me feel very comfortable, was very quick (super important for removal of ten face tattoos), was able to keep me calm and collected and right out the door feeling like I 100% made the right decision! She’s the only person I truly trust with my treatment now I won’t go to another person. I am so happy I chose body details for my full body laser hair removal !! I had been contemplating laser hair removal for over a year and after plenty of research I decided to set up a consultation with them. I was greeted at the front desk by Katie , she was very welcoming and appeared to really like her job . From there I sat down with Brittany , she went over all packages, pricing and payment plans in great detail. Brittany made me feel at ease and was able to set me up with monthly pricing well within my budget ! After less than 10 mins I was all ready to set up my first treatment 😀 . I returned the next week a little nervous for my first treatment and again Brittany and Katie made me feel right at home. My treatment specialist Angelica was very calm and patient and the first treatment took only an hour with no pain whatsoever!! Its been about a month and I am so thrilled with my results ! I have been going to this location for about four months now to do laser hair removal on my face, after my second visit I already started to see real results that I am in love with. I have a very bad hormonal imbalance that causes my hair to grow long and thick, now you can’t see it and I love it. I’m still doing the treatments but it really works. I was a bit anxious waiting to do my bikini area but Arlehtwalked me through the whole process, always checking make sure I was comfortable. If you are considering, definitely go for it and ask for Arleht! She is such a sweet heart and complete professional, she knows her stuff! I have a location a little bit closer but I’ll do the 30min drive because of Arleht.She is amazing!I am honestly in shock how painless this is, especially in the bikini area! I hardly have a relationship with the razor. I am currently receiving tattoo removal for 8 tattoos I wanted removed by Body Details Fort Lauderdale (yes, 8). All a variety of different sizes.Two years ago I began the process of seeking tattoo removal. I stumbled upon a star-studded medical spa located in Bal Harbor, where celebrities often received treatment - so I assumed they were not amateurs in any of their advertised treatments. Needless to say, they were negligent in removing my tattoos. They not only caused hypertrophic scaring/keloids on my skin, because they did not keep accurate records of the laser intensity for each tattoo treated, but they also caused me to overdose on lidocaine (a numbing agent med spa’s administer prior to using the laser), and an ambulance had to be called because my body went into toxic shock! I ran FAR away from that place!I happened to find BD in a Google search. To say I was “nervous in trusting another business w/ my tattoo removal,”was an understatement. I had a consult w/ Brittany, the Facility Director. She was extremely empathetic of my situation & very professional. Her caring demeanor & knowledge of the removal process & Pico Laser convinced me on the spot that I had to give them a shot. I won’t lie, the treatments are pricey, but I feel like this is a situation of “you get what you pay for” - and packages & financing are an option if needed.Discomfort/pain, is inevitable in the removal process, but Ana, the PA who administers my treatments, is always respectful if I need a break during a visit. She uses freezing cold air to aid in relieving the discomfort, thus lidocaine injections are not even necessary.So far, 2 of my 8 tattoos are completely gone & I have completed 7 treatments.Go to a place who knows what they’re doing & choose Body Details. :) 5 out of 5 stars so far ladies!

I had this horrible tattoo on the left upper breast and there were many summer dresses/t-shirts that I was uncomfortable wearing because of it. It took 3 years of treatments, but today I can say that my skin is completely back to normal, tattoo-free! Completely means: no scarring, no discoloration and not even sign of the old tattoo. Ive had tattoo removal services at 2 other places, besides body details, and without a shadow of a doubt this place far surpasses my expectations. I love that I dont need to pretreat my tattoo with numbing cream 2 hours before. I can just show up to my appt, no prep. I love that the downtime is significantly reduced. I can actually go out that same night, and people dont notice Ive had a treatment. Where as before, with other treatments, Ive had swelling, bleeding and bruising, with a downtime of a few days. Love body details, love thier laser, love thier staff.

Laser Hair Removal: Full Back for Men… So Far, So Great!I’m about to have my fourth treatment and I have to say the entire staff at Body Details in Fort Lauderdale is very professional and puts me at ease. Brittany is excellent and was very thorough in my consultation. She has a great sense of humor which broke the ice nicely! Angelica and Karina have been wonderful technicians and are great at what they do!In order to help other men like me with this review, I’ll have to start from the beginning of my journey. I began my laser treatments with Body Details late 2015 at age 44 and I’m now 45. I’m overweight (chubby) of Italian/Irish/ French heritage with semi-pale skin and dark hair covering almost all of my body. My intention was not to feel silky and sexy as I was sick of ingrown hairs, sweat and the general discomfort of having hair all over my shoulders and back for most of my adult life. I wanted to get this done now before the hairs turned gray or white because this type of permanent laser only works on dark hair only. I decided that I wanted certain zones treated which include my upper arms and shoulders, upper and lower back, buttocks, groin - scrotal bikini area and upper thighs (not Brazilian or totally bare in the pubic area as styles change). After doing much research, I concluded that Body Details was the best solution in South Florida for permanent hair removal for me based on the large areas of hair to be treated, the type of laser they utilize, and for the cost. It takes about 10 visits for someone like me to have hair permanently removed so I did the math considering all the zones and realized that Body Details’ package deal was far less expensive than anywhere else, plus they offer the lifetime guarantee. I couldn’t refuse.Most hair removal places and dermatology practices offering laser actually use IPL and not True Lasers. IPL generally doesn’t give permanent results while True Laser does while not affecting the skin, only the hair follicle. The laser they use at Body Details is the Candela GentleMax Pro which is one of the best around and this is why they can offer a lifetime guarantee and permanent hair removal. This laser device also blasts some cryo-freeze every time the laser zaps so it is not as painful as other lasers. For my very large area of coverage, my visits are 90 minutes in length. For me and most men, the most pain is felt towards the outer sides of the upper back. Scrotum, groin, buttocks and inner buttocks (perianal) does not hurt ( not what you’d think but true)! Also, I am very self-conscious and do not like to be totally nude in front of the technicians so they let me wear a paper gown and I wear a jock strap underneath. I have to be completely shaven or Naired (not waxed or plucked) on the areas going to be treated before my visits and this is a downer because doing this is what I tried to avoid in the first place, however it is understandable as too much hair takes its toll on their lasers and believe me, even though I come in totally smooth, I can still smell the hair burning from what is zapped under my skin. Pretty amazing!After my first treatment, all my hair grew back and then it fell out gradually in about 14 days. Smooth as a baby’s bottom! During this process, it itched so be prepared to have a back scratcher on hand. The hair eventually grows back but noticeably less. After the second visit, the same thing happened but less hair grew back and when it did, my back hair sort of looked like a checkerboard. After my third visit, most of the hair hasn’t grown back so we’ll see! A good tip that works great for me is to have a 30” long exfoliating loofah back scrubber and also a long handled back scrub brush for the shower using Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Body Wash. This helps with acne from ingrown hairs. These products are sold on Amazon. I will update as time progresses… So far so good! Hope this helps!!

I am writing this review to help those of you who are shopping for laser hair removal and are very price conscious (otherwise known as cheap.) I am always looking for the best deal that I can find. I had been interested in laser hair removal for a while and one day I got a Living Social deal in my email that seemed too good to be true. It was $99 for 5 treatments of a single “small area.” Advertised as a $1,200 value. I went to the treatment facility to use my Living Social deal and I have never been more pressured by a sales person in my life. They were bound and determined to sell me additional treatment areas. I ultimately refused all of there sales tactics and started treatments on my underarms. After a year of time and 5 treatments my underarms had just as much hair as when I started. They told me that the average person takes about 7 to 8 treatments to see all of the hair permanently removed. For another $480 they would give me 3 more treatments to “finish my underarms.” I fell for it and gave them another $480. Well three treatments later I still had all my underarm hair. Turns out not all laser hair removal places are equal. A friend of mine had experienced the exact same thing at a different laser hair removal clinic. She went for 7 sessions with no permanent results. After a recommendation from one of her friend she went to Body Details. It only took four treatment sessions for her to have her hair permanently removed. In addition they offer a lifetime guaranty that I read in detail and seems to not have any loopholes in it. So based on that I figured I would go in for a consultation. I will say that I prepared for the worst assuming I was going to get this huge sales pitch like I had before. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most sales pressure, my consultation was about a 2. The girl definitely wanted a sale but did not push me to the point where I felt like I was buying a used car. I tried to haggle with her for a better price to no avail. I even left without buying figuring that they would call me back and offer me a better deal. They did not. A week later I paid to have my under arms treated for a second time and this time I got what I paid for. Five treatments later I now no longer have any hair under my arms. So I learned the hard way that you need to do your homework on laser hair removal before you even pay $99 for treatments in a Living Social deal. Most of the cheap places use crappy lasers. I hope this review helps you in your laser hair removal shopping. I wish there was a review that explained it like this when I was shopping for the service. Body Details might be more expensive but their treatments work.
