The best!! Sophia is a magical skin care goddess!I first started coming to see Sophia for sugar hair removal, and I highly recommended sugaring for your hair removal needs. But then she turned into a friend and we started talking about my skin needs and then I went in for facials, I texted her pictures when I would somehow grow a zit in a matter of two hours and she would give me advice on how to care for it without making it worse.She is empathetic, kind, easy to talk to and she cares so deeply about making you feel beautiful and comfortable in your skin. 1st this lady knows her stuff!! I had a horrible experience with Sugar Waxing at another salon in Boca Raton. I found Sophia online and contacted her to see if she could fix what the other salon botched. Y’all Sophia is amazing!!! I will never touch hot wax ever again! She is super sweet and very knowledgeable, she explains everything to you step by step. I take everyone I know to see her! My mom had a facial done with her and she is still talking about how much she loved it. Sophia is the best! I originally started seeing her for sugaring services. My hair has definitely thinned out in the areas she sugars and I no longer get ingrowns (major plus). I’ve received facials from her a few times as well which were very relaxing. With the facial she massages my hands and feet which was heavenly after a long stressful day.Her personality is also very welcoming and friendly. Sophia! Where has this beautiful soul been all my life?! I am so grateful I discovered Sophias sugar skincare studio because it is a total game changer for my self care routines. I recently decided to try sugaring after spending years suffering burning, itching, ingrown hairs every time my hair grew back in from shaving. Id never waxed before, but I read sugaring was gentler and upon a little research Sophias studio popped up in Yelp. I decided to give it a try and Im so happy I did...that said, Im also convinced I got lucky by finding Sophia because she is amazing! I was extremely nervous about sugaring, especially in vulnerable places where the sun doesnt shine! But she was so skilled, offering advice when I asked for tips on home care and exfoliation and educating me on the finer details of the process, as well about my hair pattern/type. Despite having had a child, I was still nervous and intimidsted about getting sugared in the bikini area, but Sophia was somehow professional, yet comforting with genuine conversation. I doubt everyone gets this lucky when they go to their aesthetician!After having such great results with the sugaring (which for my first time was intense, but oh so worth it!), I tried dermaplaining with Sophia. The whole facial was ahhhmazing, and now my skin looks so bright, youthful, and glowy!! After the light therapy and face masks (the algae face mask was so soothing) I left looking like a dewy queen. Im in love and Im so grateful for Sophia and her bright, beautiful spirit.Theres no question she loves what she does, and its something you want when you hire someone to help you take care of yourself! Sophia was very professional! Her workspace was clean and organized for the space given. It’s a little small in the room, but you gotta do what you gotta do when you’re starting out your own business! She did a great job on my Brazilian wax and was very thorough! It was my first time doing a sugar wax (I usually go to European wax center) and I can say I did like feeling a room temp wax on my skin. The whole process was intriguing, but be careful, if you’ve never gotten waxed before, that first pull will catch you off guard lol Overall, I had a great experience and will be coming back!

Ive been waxing for over 15 years and have a love hate relationship with it. I would find a person that I liked and gotten used to and one day I would go back to the wax spa and the person is gone! This has gone on for several years in Florida. I was in desperate need of waxing and bumped into this deal on Groupon that I couldnt resist. I researched sugaring wax and decided to go for it. Booking the appointment was so easy and i spoke to Sophia on the phone and she was so sweet on the phone. Her spa is so clean, super chic and laid back. I went in nervous. Walked out content and booked my next appointment with her even recommended her to my friends. Sophia is one of a kind, she made me feel so comfortable and explained the entire process with me. It wasnt as painful as strip waxing is for me. The best part of my experience is that Sophia will be the only person that will wax me from now on!!

Brace yourself, this is a very long review but worth the read if you are considering going to Sugar Skincare. I started seeing Sophia a little over a year ago. I am 29 years old and have battled acne my whole adult life. When I came to Sophia, I was 6 months away from my wedding day. At this point, I was frustrated with all the dermatologists Ive seen. They all wanted to place me on medication and not truly solve or treat the problem as to why I break out. So, I went to Sophias on a whim, and it was the best decision I have ever made regarding my skin and probably self care.Skin-- My skin has a mind of its own, along with an attitude. I have an oily complexion that breaks out weekly, especially around my time of the month. Sophia and I have worked together (and still are) in treating my skin. It has drastically changed in the course of a year without any medication. She has ordered special products just for me and has made sure to know my skins threshold and what is best for my moody skin. She has recommended me products and has even shared some of her own. When I first came to Sophia I was on the verge of a breakdown. I had a wedding coming up and my skin had not looked that bad in years. I was struggling with self-esteem big time. I hated going out because I was embarrassed. I felt embarrassed at work when I would present at meetings...I even felt self conscious around my soon to be hubby. She assured me, made me feel confident and made me look beautiful for my wedding day. She even allowed me to come in several times without an appointment to receive light therapy leading up to my big day with no to very little cost. Who does that?Experience- It is one of a kind. In respect to facials, its more than what you would expect. Sophia provides the most relaxing environment. From her studio to her feet and hand massage, she continually provides the utmost experience for her clients! I have never been to any type of service provider who continually exceeds your expectations and previous experience. Sophias positive energy and infectious laugh are contagious and she makes you feel as though you are the most important person in the world. She truly cares about your skin, your body, and you as a whole. She will check in with you after your facial to make sure your skin is responding and offers lots of tips and recommendations. I trust Sophia with all skin related issues, but also as a friend. She is a caring and loving individual who is not only an asset to the sugaring and facial world, but to our community here in south Florida. Do yourself a favor, go get a facial and come out feeling like a million bucks! I promise, she is a a goldmine!

I think I’m going on a year of coming to this awesome place! Sophia is just the sweetest! She makes you comfortable and relaxed before she begins the unfortunate torture. Lol sugaring is not for the weak! It does hurt at first, but after the second or third visit the pain decreases tremendously! As well as the hair itself! You will start to see less hair growth what does grow back comes back thinner and less than before! I’m Hispanic with Italian roots, so my hair started off thick and coarse, now it takes almost 2 months to grow back and isn’t unruly and jungle-like. Can’t wait for my next appt! Also if you need someone to talk to, she’s practically a therapist because I go in telling her my problems as she’s doing her job, and leave feeling validated and like a weight has been lifted! She’s one of kind, I’m never waxing with regular wax again!! Or shaving ever again!

I met with Sophia to get an accelerated airbrush spray tan for an upcoming photoshoot. I was skeptical bc all spraytans Ive gotten in the past have left me a tint of orange, regardless of how much bronzer they used. This spray tan was way different.
