I was so tired of our current barber. He would let people pay $60 to skip the line. “VIP”. I would end up waiting hours for my two children to get cuts. I’m so happy I found The Hairy Bastard Barbershop. They have an amazing team and my boys ended up with great cuts without waiting for hours. It’s clean & they take walks ins. Appointments are available as well. This is where I will be going from now on.

Great service and style! Easy to make an appointment. Locals know this is a place you want to go and leave feeling like you are ready for a night out or a weekend on the drive. After working in the beauty industry for over 30 years, it’s difficult for me to find a barber who has the same vision as I do. Now that I work in behavioral health, I want a modern look but slightly in the conservative side. I’m 60 and not ready to buzz my hair off. Jim got me. This was the best cut I’ve had in years. It looks great and it takes no work to style. Besides the great haircut, he’s a great guy!

The shop is clean with a modern interior of red and black for a ruggedly chic design. Jim is always conscious of the look I want, checking in at different points to make sure Im happy with the direction its going, and offering suggestions or willing to make changes as needed. Im a repeat customer and will continue to be for quite some time.

I recently moved to Florida and needed a place for a good cut and decided to walk into the shop. Good thing I did because one of the barbers I ran into there by accident is actually a barber that used to give me haircuts years ago in New York, someone I knew for years and trusted with my hair (and Im very picky with my cuts).Andrew is a great barber and a real stand up guy. Not only is he professional and very skilled with fades, tapers, beards and shaves, but you can sit there and chat with him like hes your cousin or brother. Now I know where Ill be going for my cuts. Howdy all. I bought the beard oil and beard wax (leather scented). Great product. The leather smell might seem a little strong at first, but within 15 minutes its perfect. And it calms the itchiness I get after trimming my beard. My partner said they made my beard softer, healthier looking, with a good smell and a cool sheen. Im 55, so thats a good thing...LOL

Bought the hairy bastard campfire beard oil. It makes my beard easier to style and helps fight that feeling of dry skin. The single hairs that tend to stick out, now stay in place and give me a more professional look. Also, the skin under my beard doesnt seem to itch anymore. The smell is quite subtle and perfect for me, since I am not into heavy perfumes/colognes. It’s a very light woodsy smell that isnt overpowering. Will purchase again.

I recently visited the shop and had an appointment with Victor. I went in seriously considering cutting off all my long hair, but Victor was fantastic. He took the time to talk me through my options and ultimately persuaded me to keep it. What really stood out was how he showed me different styles I could wear for my corporate job and even explained how to achieve them. I’ve never had a barber go the extra mile like that! I left feeling confident and refreshed, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
