    Best haircut Ive ever had in my life. Just got a haircut, and I’m seriously impressed! The stylist really took his time to understand what I wanted and nailed it. The cut is clean, sharp, and exactly how I envisioned it. The attention to detail and the overall experience made it totally worth it. Definitely coming back here for my next cut!

    I just moved here from Vermont. I’ve been looking for an inexpensive good barber for awhile. My job requires me to constantly have a fresh looking haircut.. I went here for the first time today and this is the best haircut I’ve ever had. The gentleman that ownes it was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. He also rinses and shampoos hair for free! I haven’t been this happy with a haircut in a very long time. 10/10 would recommend!

    Been getting my haircut here for the past 6 months. Chip is a genuine person and barber. Hes a funny guy thatll make you laugh. Chip is an honest man and will say things how it is. He wont sugar coat things, thats why I keep going back. Hes earned a loyal customer, hes the only guy I trust if I need a haircut before a date or something important.

    From the moment I stepped into the barbershop, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Chip, the barber who cut my hair, was both skilled and personable.     I got a very good haircut here. The barber, Chip, continuously asked me for my feedback as he cut and adjusted my hair, which resulted in me getting the perfect haircut that I wanted. Definitely recommend it this place, the price is very reasonable too

    The barbershop isnt the most aesthetically pleasing but I had a good experience here. The barber was friendly and a good conversationalist, she gave me a shampoo and rinse afterwards and the price was affordable. And most importantly I was happy with my cut. I happen to have taken the day off which is the only reason why I was able to make it in time to get a cut but if I had more free time in line with the business hours Id definitely make this my main barber shop

    The conversation with the guy were… colorful.Any awkwardness was soon set aside though when he gave me literally one of the (if not the) best haircut of my life.It’s great when someone listens carefully and does exactly what you ask them to with skill and precision. I’ll definitely be going back.Also, the price for what you get is insanely low. He only charges $14 incl/wash but the level of quality is for sure worth multiple times that amount. 11/10 recommend

    What a great place for a haircut! Dan the man is my stylist. He takes his time to make sure I get what I want and am happy with the results. Also, a FREE shampoo and rinse is included...yes; FREE! Come check them out.They are changing their look, they are updating and sprucing up.The paint may change but the quality cut you get never does!

    This place is just great. Everyone inside was seemed nice and good at what they were doing, and Chip did my hair perfectly!The haircut was great, and at a crazy low price too (12 dollars at the time of me writing this). Theres really not a reason not to come here, its the best experience Ive had with a haircut.

    The guy told my fellow Hispanic guy he looked like an Asian. He asked if I was going to speak to him in a special language too. The woman who works there is fantastic and did an amazing job with my hair. She is the saving grace of the place. Ask for her when you go.

    Amazing cut and amazing service, all at an amazing price. I was running late for a meeting and Chip overheard me make a comment on how I wouldnt have time to shave before getting there. He offered to trim my beard at no extra cost, which allowed me to get back on the schedule I needed to. A small gesture, but this attention to detail and care for the customer is why I keep going back.Thanks Chip! As long as Im in Gainesville, you have my business!

    Ive gone to this place multiple times and Ive been satisfied every time. Everyone is great and even waiting in line is fun because of them. Chip has been my hair stylist both times, and hes quite good at the craft. Always figures out what I want and does it perfectly. Cant wait to go back.

    Hands down best barbershop in town (and in the whole world)! Chip and Dan both have decades of experience and are so kind and talented. Plus you can’t beat the price! And they wash and shampoo for free! Don’t even think about going anywhere else. I’ll be coming back again and again.

    I have been going to this shop for years! I get a cut about every 2 months with Chip. One of my sons has Dana cut his hair. Another son has Courtney cut his. We are always very happy with both the cut and the experience! A cultural and interesting part of Gainesville for so many years! Come be a part and get a great haircut to boot. :-)

    Incredible service, Chip was very experienced and helped me to sort out an unsatisfactory cut I had just gotten at another barber, free of charge.     I dont usually give reviews on online platforms. This is probably the first time. I want to write a review because I truly want to thank the owner of this barbershop. I am new to Gainesville and I dont know anything about barbershops in town. I went to the Great Clips and they messed up my hair. The stylist was rude, disrespectful and impatient and she gave me a shittiest haircut that I have ever had in my life. I was desperate after the haircut since it was already 7 pm and most of the barbershops were closed. As the last resort, I googled barbershop and found this place. Chip took care of everything. He saved my day by fixing the bad haircut that I just got and rinse all the hairs on my neck. He was patient and professional and always asked my opinions. I was so grateful to everything he did to me and wanted to give him an extra few dollars to thank him. He refused and said you have already spent too much on your haircut. All I can say is thank you. I will definitely come back. Great experience!

    The staffs ability to hold conversation and being courteous to their customers is only surpassed by their ability to cut hair. They are great people. My brothers and I have been going to athletic cuts for the last 14-15 starting in 1999. I recommend everyone go to athletic cuts. The haircut is fairly price and when you look at the walls you see all the great football and basketball players signed memorabilia written personally to the owner, Chip. There is a reason that athletic cuts has been in that location for 36 years.

    This shop is great! Not only do you get an awesome haircut for only $10, you get entertainment for free. The conversation and atmosphere is very laid-back and fun. I just started going to the new girl, Clara, and she is awesome. Careful though, she is a Missouri grad and she will banter with you. When I was there last she even got into it with Billy Donovan about this basketball season. Needless to say, you cant just get this service anywhere. Athletic Cuts is the place to go when you need your hair cut!

    I went to athletic cuts a week ago with a friend cautious to try another barber in town. Immediately when I walked in the whole staff was very friendly and welcoming. I got a seat with a barber almost immediately. I described what I would like to him and to my surprise he did a better job than I imagined. I was very happy with the entire experience and intend on making it my new barber shop here in Gainesville.

    Every time I have been to Athletic Cuts I have been very impressed. Even without an appointment they get you in and out quickly. The staff is friendly and Ive never had a bad haircut from there. You cant beat the price either! Great place to get a mens haircut.

    Always amazed by the haircuts I receive here. The quality cut you receive for the price is unbelievable. All the staff are friendly and leave you smiling every time. The autographs by players and coaches on the wall make you feel right at home in Gator Nation. No place I’d rather go in Gainesville!

    My dad took me here for my 1st hair cut, Just like his dad did for him. I can fully understand why as Courtney, Chip, and the rest of the gang made me feel right at home. I wasnt sure what I wanted at first but they seem to know what would look right on me. My custom haircut got a lot of good reviews the next day at school, ... especially from the girls.

    For the cost and proximity to campus you cant really beat Campus cuts. I came here because of the reviews and easily saw why people like it. My Barber was Tom and he was very sociable and kind. You could tell he really wanted to be there. One thing he told me that really stood out was (paraphrasing) if someone comes in asking for a haircut and I dont feel confident enough to do it, Ill have another guy come do it because I believe in doing work only if I can do it well. They really care about their clients and it shows. I would recommend them to anyone who wants an inexpensive haircut of good quality.

    Athletic Cuts is a great place to get a hair cut. I have been going here for over a year now and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Chip cuts my hair and has always gone above and beyond to make sure Im happy with the cut. Courtney cuts my sons hair and is probably the only person in Gainesville that he will allow to do it. All of the staff at Athletic Cuts have always been very friendly and helpful to my family. I highly recommend Athletic Cuts for anyone.

    I work on Campus and Ive been going to Campus cuts for around 5 years now, ever since I was a grad student at UF. Mario is fantastic. I even felt confident enough to have him cut my hair for my wedding. He definitely is a skilled barber and takes the time to do my haircut right. Hes cut it for me probably about 30-35 times and its been great each time.

    For three years of undergrad at UF, I would always wait to go back home to get my haircut. I found Athletic Cuts my senior year and now, 3 years later and 2 years into Vet school, I always make sure to have Dana cut my hair before heading home. Athletic Cuts is the absolute best and Dana and Courtney are absolutely amazing at what they do. I dont want to imagine a Gainesville without them. I always get a fantastic cut, better than my barber back home ever did. Luckily I have 2 years left in Gainesville, but I dont know what Im going to do with my hair when I eventually leave.
