This was a life changing experience for me! I have a neck injury and nerve damage that causes pain in my neck and arms. Listen!..... its worth the drive! My birthday was coming up and I wanted my brows done as a gift to myself and I just love how ombre/powder brows look! I really didnt have time to get them done in my home town or a surrounding area within a 30 mile radius. I knew I was going to be attending a forum in Gainesville, so I decided to look at specialists in the area. Tamekas page was the first site that popped up and I was very pleased. I still continued to shop around just to weigh all my options and I kept coming back to her page. In looking at her reviews and the photos, they were even better than the ones in my area! So, I went to Gainesville earlier than expected just to have time for her to do my brows and lashes and glad I did! AND I drove to and from all in one day for my 6 week follow-up appt! And I plan on going back for my annual appt. and Im going to take her class!!! Remember when I said its worth the drive?.... well, my drive is 4hrs!!! And so glad I did! Much love!!!

Im telling you this woman has magical brow dust. No lies told! I had the bare minimum when it came to eyebrows. I was scared to death to have anything done because I wanted to be natural and not overdone. I explained all of this to her and she absolutely did not disappoint with the way my brows turned out. Tameka is an artist through and through and that shows in her work! The pictures speak for themselves but if you are unsure, let me confirm, she will tailor your brows based on your face shape, skin type (i.e., oily, normal, dry), natural eyebrow shape and more. She will also provide education on eyebrow care to maintain the best results. I love that the 6 week touch is emphasized as required as its a perfect opportunity to edit the shape or color of the brows after the first appointment. Overall, my experience was a 10/10.

If I could shout to the hills and give 100 stars, Tameka deserves it!! My appointment from start to finish was beyond what I expected. She kept me informed of what she was doing the entire time. Before doing anything permanent, I had time to stare in the mirror and critique what I wanted removed or to keep….. which was NOTHING! The color she used for my brows completely complimented my eye color. Her salon is inviting, clean, and very feminine. Tameka’s touch is so gentle, I was dozing off to sleep during my appt. I took the Shadow Brow shading class and let me be honest - it did not disappoint. Having the opportunity to learn a new shading technique was so amazing because traditionally there is only one technique being taught, however the natural look of the shadow brow is what enticed me to take the class. Her interactive exercises were very helpful for visual learners. The hands on demonstration is what really made it stick. Her ability to explain concepts was impeccable because I’ve been an artist 4 years ….. and it’s taken more than one explanation to fully execute what the instructor asked in my other courses. This class - i was able to do it with ease. If you’re an established artist or aspiring - i would definitely recommend her to anyone interested in elevating their artistry.

After talking with her more, she brought me on to join her team to be her apprentice to service clients in lashes and brows. I was so grateful for this opportunity. I was eager to work along side of her and learn more way to perfect my craft in both lashes and brows.As her apprentice, working along side Tameka is a game changer. She’s motivating and encouraging and a great mentor. In no time I’ve been able to increase my clientele with lashes, offer different lash sets and retain clients. I’ve also been able to take brow clients through running specials to help increase my portfolio and skill set. She’s always there to supervise me with my clients, answers all my questions, guide me though the process and assist me when needed.She even recently fixed my brows from a botched job someone did to them a few years back and they are literally perfect in every shape way and form. My first lash experience elsewhere wasn’t the best but once I started going to see Tameka I constantly get compliments on my lashes. I drive all the way from Ocala to see her because honestly her work is phenomenal. She takes the time to let you know what lashes would look good on you. For example, I have very small eyes and Tameka talked me out of a style that wouldn’t fit my eye shape and the lashes she picked for me are my favorite. I had lipblushing done a couple of weeks ago by the owner Tameka and I absolutely love the result. I had lip fillers done in the past but those did very little to define my lips and even out the asymmetry. I figured I give Tameka a go based on her reviews, and I have to say they were spot on. She took an incredible amount of time to make sure that the lip outline was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The blushing itself was about as painless as one can expect from permanent makeup on lips. Tameka made sure that the effect of numbing cream was not wearing off and I was not in any sort of discomfort. I was sent home with plenty of instructions for aftercare, and my lips healed perfectly. I couldnt be happier.

I did not receive a beauty service at Blissfull Blinks, however the service that she rendered me was far beyond exceptional. Last week, I had permanent make up done by another tattooist in town. After realizing my mistake, I reached out to Tameka. I asked her if I could meet with her The following day, and once again she welcomed me with open arms.
