    I recently had a great experience at Salon PK w Jasmyne. Upon my first interaction with Jasmyne to schedule my appointment, she was very pleasant and welcoming.     I love this Salon! Jasmyne worked her magic on my hair for my birthday and made my hair look phenomenal. I received non-stop compliments! She did color, treatment, cut, silk press, tape in extensions and styled it. She was genuinely so sweet from the very beginning and so helpful with all the questions I had before and after my appointment. If I could give 10 STARS, I would✨ 10/10 recommend this salon and recommend you get your hair done by Jasmyne. I will definitely be coming back for all my hair needs.

    Ive been having my hair styled by Lauren at Salon^PK for over 2 years and she is truly phenomenal! I have had some bad experiences in the past with other stylists, but from my very first style with Lauren she listened to exactly what I wanted and I leave the salon completely in love with my hair. She gives practical and professional advice, and has introduced me to some great products to use. Lauren is fantastic! I certainly recommend her!

    The staff is always professional and they offer quality services. The atmosphere is comfortable and the space is always very well kept. They are clean and strict about adherence to COVID guidelines for safety. Relaxed hair, natural, any length or color, the stylists at SalonPK will not just style your hair, but, they will help you learn to manage your hair in the most healthy way. Jasmyne is my natural hair stylist, and I love her work. She pays attention to my requests, gives me real expectations, advises me on the best techniques and products to sustain my style when shes done, and manages her time well such that even if she has other clients Im not left waiting for long periods of time. Shes par for the course in this salon. I definitely recommend!

    The service and atmosphere at Salon PK is exceptional. My stylist, Lauren, is great. She focuses on my hair staying healthy and looking good. Lauren does a great job with giving me great looking styles and color. I highly recommend Lauren and the salon. The salon is clean and the staff is polite and professional and best of all, I don’t have to be there all day, even if it looks like I was.

    I absolutely love Salon PK. The stylists are all very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. At my most recent visit, I got my natural hair cut and I love, love my hair cut. Lauren cut my hair and Charlina did everything else. I dont usually tell them what to do with my hair, they somehow know what is best for me so I let them do their thing. The cut and style is what Ive always wanted. This was not my first visit and each time Ive been there I walked away very satisfied. I highly recommend this salon if you want the very best in hair care.

    Lauren has been my stylist since August of 2016. She is the bomb.com.(my opinion) The owner & staff are great, very professional.     I ❤️ Salon PK!!!!!I’ve been getting my hair done here for over 13 years. The atmosphere is both relaxing and professional. My stylists, Pekela(owner) and Lauren, have always paid close attention to all my hair needs. As I deal with medical treatments and medications that sometimes stress or break-off my hair, my stylist and I work on the transitional phases together to make sure that my hair is maintained in a healthy state.     I visited this salon for the first time and my experience was AMAZING!!! The salon is beautiful, spacious and well up to my standards. My stylist was Jasmyne whom I absolutely loved!!!     I came to Salon PK after receiving a horrific cut at another salon. My stylist was Lisa, she was very attentive, and more than willing to give me a corrective cut. She worked magic with my butchered hair and she handled my type 4 hair with ease. Needless to say Im in love with the results.

    Update: since my last review 3 years ago, my former stylist and salon owner Pekela stepped away from behind the salon chair to tap into her creative side. i can honestly say that my current stylist Lauren, made the transition easy as I am picky about who does my hair (Pekela spoiled me😍). She stepped in and made me feel comfortable doing my hair and color making my experience even better. Since covid19 pandemic staff has made it a priority to keep not only themselves safe but the clients as well. I am happy to say I always enjoy my visit at salon PK.I am definitely a happy camper.

    I went to Salon PK for a total new look! I am very picky about my hair, So this was a jump for me to try someone different. Nyia did an AMAZING job and is very detailed oriented!!! The vibe in the salon is 1st class and the ladies are very professional and pleasant!!!! Now...Miles did my shampoo and WOW!!!! That’s all I can say!!!!! It was a shampoo to remember!! Once I walked outside and the light hit me just right!!!! I had to go back inside and Thank Them again!!!!!

    Salon PK is fantastic and Jasmyne is an amazing stylist. When I started researching salons in Jacksonville, Salon PK was consistently at the top of the list for very good reason. Ive been natural for years and was just stumbling along, but Jasmyne is amazing at answering questions and making sure I know what to do at home to keep my hair as healthy as possible. I go regularly for trims and I can see a clear difference in the health of my hair and my breakage has reduced drastically.With styling, Ive had wash n gos, silk press, and twists done. Jasmyne always hits it out of the park and shell give tips on improving your technique at home. Not only do you walk out the salon looking fantastic, but your at home technique will improve as well.If youre looking for a salon in Jacksonville, Salon PK is a phenomenal choice. The pricing is great, everyone who works there is extremely nice, and the salon is very open and clean (I started coming during the pandemic and Ive never felt uncomfortable or unsafe).

    Salon PK is an excellent salon in Jacksonville, Florida that provides a wide variety of services for all hair types. I have been going to Salon PK for 3 years now, and have received nothing short of outstanding service. I was going to another salon in the area, and as a result my hair was very damaged. The first time I visited Salon PK I told the owner, Pekela, to cut it all off. She told me that my hair could be saved, and she was right. I didnt have to cut my hair, and she was able to restore it to healthy state. I recommend Salon PK to anyone who wants healthy, beautiful hair.

    I am THRILLED with my hair. Pariz had done a tremendous job with strengthening my hair. I have been coming to her weekly for shampoo, style and occasional color.     Ive been going to Coko for almost 2 yrs now and has tremendously changed my hair from damaged to healthy. Even with her doing my my real hair she also does my weaves flawlessly when I want to give my hair a break . She is the only person I ever went to that there sew-in is not a hassle to take out and I can go flawlessly back to my real hair without any damage . I truly recommend her , I drive all the way from the Westside to get receive the quality of service she give . I wish there was 10 stars instead of 5 !

    I LOVE Pakela and Salon ^ PK! I have been going to this salon since I moved to Jacksonville in November 2014. I can honestly tell you that every stylist is wonderful! They are warm, friendly, incredibly professional, and the conversation is always intellectually stimulating. PAKELA is into educating you about your hair and really doing what is going to give you the healthiest outcome and style for your specific hair type. This is NOT a cookie cutter salon with stylists that just want to chop and get your money.I feel like Pekela is an artist and my hair is her canvass! When I come in, she is always on point. She always creates a spectacular style and color on my hair. When I get out of her chair I am ALWAYS beyond thrilled with her color technique and hairstyle. People are always giving me compliments about my color and hairstyles.Pakela is a phenomenal Master Hair Stylist who is talented off the charts, and is one of the most awesome people I have EVER met!     What you’re about to read in this post are my completely satisfied customer experiences at Salon PK. The very first time I visited Salon PK was in February of 2013. I received an excellent virgin blowout, press, with complimentary deep conditioner, (that endured the unpredictable Florida winter for at least a week) from hair stylist Keneta (it is pronounced kah-knee-ta: so please do not enter the salon and refer to this woman as kah-net-ah). This is quite an accomplishment considering that I have the thickest, most coarse, natural ethnic hair you can imagine. After a two year hiatus from the salon, I decided that it was time to revisit a place that I was confident that could restore my rapidly deteriorating natural hair. I originally scheduled an appointment to get a relaxer; but luckily, there were two stylists honest and patient enough to inform me that I may have been making a rash decision and suggested a keratin treatment as a substitute. That particular day, I decided to postpone the keratin treatment for the next visit and had flat twists instead. Today, February 10, 2015, I had a keratin treatment.1. It immediately soften the texture of my hair.2. It also revealed an amount of split ends in my hair that were so bad, that I assumed I would lose ALL of my length.Thank God I was wrong! Keneta was able to salvage way more than I expected of my hair. She was even kind enough to hold my hand as I cried when she began to trim. She offered a considerable amount of advice on how to restore the moisture in my hair, the appropriate products, and even made me feel confident from the time I walked out of the Salon, until I was in my husband’s arms receiving his approval. Not everyone can do natural hair; not everyone can care for their own hair. But I guarantee, you will find a stylist for YOU at Salon PK.     I havent been to a salon in over 2 years. Shameful, I know. Im natural and after calling a few places and being told my hair would have to be straightened in order to get my ends clipped, I gave up hope. I found this salon on instagram. Pekelas skills are impeccable. She educated me on care for my hair texture, treated and cut my hair care in a style that I can easliy maintain. The salon staff was very professional and friendly. I arrived with my IPAD and a book fully expecting to be in the salon all day. I was out the door within 2 hours.
