This was my first experience having filler. As far as Dr. Patel, he is a direct, professional, and efficient. what I appreciated most was his open communication during the procedure when he let me know when the next needle would be inserted, what sensations I will feel, etc. Very good bedside manners.As for the procedure and results, it was very simple and straightforward chin filler with little to no discomfort. I felt very comfortable in his hands.The results, as of now one week from its completion, I see a subtle improvement. Initially I had developed a bit of swelling but it has gone down since. It comes off as natural and I am overall satisfied. I would most likely return for a different procedure and would likely recommend him for chin fillers.

Dr Patel is a trustworthy cosmetic derm provider. I recently did fraxel 1550 to help treat residual acne scars which I have been treating for years via a variety of procedures elsewhere ranging from not as invasive such as PRP Microneedling to very invasive such as fully ablative CO2 laser. I must say by far out of all invasive procedures performed with different providers and clinics this is by far my best experience and I trust that with continuation of Dr Patels recommendations I will get to my goal or at least as close I will ever be. With this laser I have been able to plan better around it and do not need to take so much time off work everytime I do it compared to other procedures I’ve done. Yet it is still effective and more mentally palatable. If you suffer from acne and or acne scars I recommend consulting with Dr Shaun Patel. Keep in mind most of the time these procedures do not come at a low cost but if you’re going to spend the money elsewhere definitely come here. He is fair and realistic in treatment and treatment costs. You will also be able to track your progress because they will take professional images of treated areas every time you come in. Overall I am satisfied with my treatment and look forward to my next 2 sessions of fraxel 1550. Thank you to Dr Patel and his amazing staff made up of mostly younger women who aspire to be future nurses and medical professionals. They are all very kind and knowledgeable.

His staff is attentive and immediately answer any concerns or questions you may have.My consultation with Dr. Patel was pleasant. He makes you feel at ease if you are somewhat nervous. He encourages you to ask questions and is concerned for his patient’s well being. My procedure was quick and painless.You get thoroughly evaluated and he will make suggestions depending on your case (everyone is different). There is no pressure at any point during your visit to agree to a certain procedure.I have a second procedure scheduled within the next three weeks and will continue to come see him. I recommend you to call and schedule your consultation!

I have been visiting Dr. Patel for a year now, during which time I have de-aged 10 years. I have a jaw line, cheekbones and collagen again, and it all looks very natural. Dr. Patel is a sculptor. Theres no one better. He does all of the work himself and gives extensive personal attention to each patient and their precise needs and wants, rather than following a pattern. Kudos also to the talented staff.Update - the work just gets better with time. My skin glows and I am keeping the soft natural look. Maintenance is important and I like that there is constant small treatment adjustments to address changes needed over time. Worth it!

I was very apprehensive about doing post acne treatments as I know I have sensitive skin, but Dr. Patel has only done 1 round of treatments on my skin so far (V Beam laser + salicylic acid treatment) and I have seen an incredible improvement in the scarring and active acne. We are planning on doing 2 more rounds of treatments and hopefully after that I will be cleared of all acne/ scarring! I’m so happy I found Miami Skin & Vein and Dr. Patel.

I wanted to wait at least six weeks for my final results before reviewing and after doing so I can thoroughly say that I am loving my results. I originally chose Dr. Patel because I had seen before/afters on his insta of patients that he had been treating for years. Even after years of treatment, they maintained their uniqueness and looked like themselves which is not the case for some other injectors. My results were noticeable to me while still being subtle enough that friends and even family didn’t see filler, they just saw ME. The entire process, from standardizing the way he photographs before/afters to the way he preps the face, was something I didn’t experience with my previous injector. His bedside manner was very kind, he explained things thoroughly, and I cannot wait to see him again in the future!

I find him to be more of a conservative injector, and I am often the one to ask “what else can we do?” or “please tell me about ___ laser”. And I truly appreciate that Dr. Patel doesn’t oversell results, push unnecessary treatments, & isn’t afraid to say “no” when I need to hear it. This is a rarity here in Miami, and it’s how you know your face is in good hands.The procedures I’ve had done include: 3 rounds of microneedling with PRP, upper face and masseter dysport, 2 rounds of V-beam lazer (if you have broken capillaries around your nose & cheeks or rosacea, this laser is a godsend), hydrafacial, and most recently face and neck thermage (Akansha is fantastic). I’ve seen a significant improvement in my skin and positive results from each and every treatment. I’m so happy I stumbled upon Dr. Patel!! I went in for some Dysport on my frown lines in between my brows and treatment on my under eyes. Dr. Patel went above and beyond and took the time during my consultation to see what would work best for me. He even mentioned adding Dysport for my teeth grinding which I didn’t even know was something that could be done. After the appointment I could see instant results!!I previously went to another physician for treatment on my under eyes, but he left me looking bruised and swollen for 7+ days. With Dr. Patel he uses a micro cannula which I’m sure is the reason I left with no bruises and minimal swelling that only lasted 24 hours for me. I’m about 2 weeks post treatment and see a significant difference. With his sweet, attentive staff and amazing bedside manner I’ll definitely be coming to Dr. Patel’s office for years to come!!

Highly recommend! Im from Fort Lauderdale, and it is worth the drive! Dr. Patel truly knows what he is doing. I was nervous because any alteration to the face is scary. I am young and have always had dark circles. No creams, diet, or products helped. After looking at pictures online, I was impressed by how natural his patients looked. I am young, so I did not want the “filler” look. Dr. Patel did a great evaluation, and did not push me to get the treatment. I truly think he did everything right: deep fillers, microcannula, Restylane. I had very little bruising and swelling, and I went out to dinner right after treatment. He says he “undertreats” by 25%, which was great for me because I didn’t want a dramatic change. Overall, I would absolutely do this treatment with Dr. Patel again. He is very friendly , he is very driven by cleanliness and making sure everything is sterile and clean. He is very gentle and extremely patient and explains everything. I had the Micro needling with PRP done that same day. I was numbed and didnt feel a thing. In fact I was falling asleep to be truthful. He has great hands and a great disposition. I felt so comfortable and definitely more relaxed. I cannot wait to go back and to continue my journey with them. Reviews are very important for people that do not know what to expect. I am very glad to say I have chosen Dr. Patel as my go to facial treatment advisor. The office is nice his staff is also very sweet, knowledgeable, and personable. If you’re looking for an honest opinion, and amazing talent you’re in good hands. I came in to get filler under my eyes, when Dr. Patel mentioned to me that I really didn’t need it. Instead he suggested that I get filler for my chin to make my face more proportionate since that is what really needed a bit of volume, some dysport around my eyes and some on my forehead as a preventative measure since I am only 29. The wrinkles that were starting to appear arent etched in my skin and to prevent them from ever doing so in the future. Since he was very honest and not like many cosmetic offices that will pile on anything to make thousands or more he was very honest and I did not feel in any moment that he was trying to sell me something that I didn’t need. His practice also has really great products that I have been using for the past week and I am in love! Continuing this review further I would also like to add that I bruise easily and surprisingly enough I didn’t even bruise at all!!!! I am a week post treatment and my skin looks soooooo good! Three months ago I started getting a very stubborn and painful acne on my checks and jawlines. I tried EVERYTHING!!! All creams, spot treatments, remedies, changed my whole diet to the healthiest green-based no sugar no carbs, and still got awful swollen pimples. I was desperate, there were days that i felt so depressed and ashamed that i cried in my car while driving almost every morning , so i went to the dermatologist and was prescribed antibiotics and i got so much better I was so happy with the results but all that left me with a bunch o acne scars that I just couldn’t wait to get rid of them. So by that time I already knew about dr Patel and his clinic and i saw on instagram that they did laser treatments for this so I couldn’t resist. I called and got my appointment and let me tell you. I was super scared but everything went super smoothly. I got the laser yesterday and today i feel so so good, my face has healed so fast in just one day! My friend Nour constantly goes to Dr Patel and doesnt stop talking about it!! he is very good at what he does, Results are wonderful!! you get to see them after just a day! I love his work and would recommend him anytime
