    Promise made me feel so comfortable from start to finish. She took her time to really educate me about my hair and the products she used, and she worked wonders getting my hair healthy again. Finding an affordable stylist who understands my hair type has always been a challenge, especially since I have four different textures on my scalp. But Promise has clearly invested time in learning about all kinds of curls and tackling any challenges they bring.One area of my hair always struggles to hold moisture, but she figured out the perfect products for it. Beyond just her expertise, the entire salon has such a positive vibe—everyone is friendly and willing to step in and help if needed. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly. Highly recommend!

    I cannot talk enough about how wonderful this salon is. 4 years ago, I came in with messed up hair and Nikki took care of me. My favourite thing about her is that she is honest about what can be done and cares about the health of my hair, not just selling products or tacking on charges. She is my main stylist and I thank the world that I found someone who can make my Disney pink princess dreams come true!I have also worked with Jamison of Clowncreative. She is an amazing artist who is a pro at her craft. Shes so nice and welcoming that the hours in the salon zoom by! She is a craftsman and a talent like youve never seen!Lastly, I recently got to work with Promise! My hair is STUBBORN. She was able to tame and really took her time with it. She didnt try to rush me out but instead worked with my hair to make it look perfect for the Florida heat!Definitely book a consultation with Scandalous! Every single stylist is an ARTIST!

    Amazing service! Nikki the owner took time to listen to what we wanted for our hair. She was so thorough in explaining color processing and techniques to give us the desired looks we wanted.No one has ever cut my daughters hair so well!!!! Her vivid color looks amazing!     Emily is absolutely amazing! It was my first time dyeing my hair, so she explained everything in such detail and in a way i could understand. I asked for a subtle red, and they absolutely nailed it! Also the vibes in the studio are amazing! I’m so happy with how my hair turned out :D

    Promise was my hair stylist when I visited Scandalous Artistry Salon on 12/19. I went in asking for blonde chunky highlights on my very dark and long hair and I left with exactly what I was hoping for (and more). Not only was I given the look I wanted, but I was also provided so much education on hair/bleach, hair integrity, and what products to use to maintain the health of my hair. Promise took her time and prioritized the integrity of my hair, which I always look for in a new stylist as I have had some bad experienced in the past with bleach damage. I am so happy with the results and cant wait to go back!

    I absolutely love my hair! Im incredibly lucky to have found Nikki; her skills are exceptional and truly rare. My hairstyle is complicated & requires blending 24 extensions with my 5 of thinning hair while preserving the length and adding heavy layers. And in a style that is trending & flattering. As a 3rd generation hairstylists, I can confidently say that Nikkis ability to achieve this is nothing short of extraordinary.

    I was so nervous about going into a new salon and as soon as I stepped in, the vibe was amazing. It was very chill and calm. Promise really took the time to explain the hairstyle and continued to ask if I was ok with the length and style. She taught me how to keep my hairstyle with different techniques.     Emily always does an absolutely FANTASTIC job, I love coming to this salon. The vibes are welcoming and fun and I always have a great experience getting my hair cut here. I’ve struggled for years to find a hairstylist who really sees my vision and knows how to cut my hair, and I no longer have to worry about that here!!     When I tell you I’ve never felt more in love with my hair, I am not playing! NIA did her thing! If you’re looking for a great stylist, you won’t be disappointed. Everyone in the salon was amazing, they are all supportive towards each other and they make you feel so welcomed.I came in with a mess and left beautiful🥰❤️I did more than a few things to my hair so it did take longer than just getting a cut but the vibes are so cool and you’re literally chilling that it doesn’t even feel that long.     I’ve been seeing Emily at Scandalous for years and they always do such an amazing job! I went in for my birthday and she took me from purple to an amazing copper in one appointment!     Every time I walk into Scandalous Artistry I feel like I am walking into such a welcoming environment of stylists who have mastered their craft and love what they do. This is a safe space for any individual to come into and come out of feeling so beautiful and authentically themselves. The stylists here do a great job of establishing healthy communication about your hair journey and the science behind the outcome of what your hair will look like, which is helpful in making an informed decision about what you want done to your hair. I am always so pleased with the outcome and am always anticipating my next appointment because I do feel like I am communicating about my services amongst friends. I love having their input and a collaborative effort of both myself and the stylists and am always so excited to see the execution of OUR vision together. After I have my services, I always receive so many compliments about my hair and I always do my best to point them in the right direction. I can’t see myself going anywhere else for my hair because I don’t feel as heard anywhere else.I can comfortably put all of my faith into the stylists here and I never leave disappointed.

    WOW!! These girls are so talented! They are true professionals! Their knowledge of hair and hair coloring is beyond amazing and impressive! Every one of the young ladies in this salon should be proud of themselves!! Seriously - my daughter has been wanting to have her hair done ! I was reluctant to take her to any salon - in fear of disappointment! We met with Nikki for a consultation- this young lady took us step by step explaining everything there was to know - expect - and deliver. She was spot on and so knowledgeable of her profession - ! Nikki assured us that she will take care of her hair and that she did! Promise was the stylist who did my daughters hair- the day of the appointment Promise reviewed the entire process and expectations- reconfirming all that Nikki had discussed with us! These girls are truly STARS - I cannot imagine anyone not calling and booking with these group of girls! I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! Trust me ! Thank you Nikki , Promise and all the other amazing girls that assisted in this ! My daughter is so happy! She has told half the town how much she loves her hair!! I cannot thank you enough!     I feel very lucky to have found this place! My hairstylist, Promise, is one of the best hairdressers Ive ever had. She took the time to ask me a lot of detailed questions to truly understand what I wanted. She was extremely kind as well, making me feel really welcome! Recently, Ive had a lot of bad experiences at hair salons, so this was such a breath of fresh air!I would absolutely recommend this salon! Especially if you are LGBT or neurodivergent. They will listen to you and give you the hairstyle that you want and makes you feel confident!

    Honestly such a fun, welcoming, safe atmosphere the second you walk into the salon. Nikki is sweet, attentive, and more than willing to share her knowledge of hair. She not only walked me through my whole appointment before we started, but shared with me the techniques she was using so I could replicate them at home. As someone with a lot of anxiety when it comes to receiving professional services, I felt comfortable and trusting that I would receive what I wanted (which I did :) ).     I was booked with Nikki and she gave me everything I wanted with my cut, was also the kindest and sweetest conversationalist, I have never felt so comfortable in a chair in my life. She was inquisitive, professional and so so easy to work with. She made my vision come to life and I couldn’t be any happier with my experience.     I love this salon! I had been getting professional fashion colors from the another salon for nearly a decade and my stylist passed away. I was really anxious to find another place, but Scandalous caught my eye on Instagram and I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! I absolutely LOVE the shape and the color. I felt welcomed and comfortable in the shop. The prices were great and the service stellar! Ill be back next month for more!

    I was super busy and stressed and completley forgot to book my hair appointment for my graduation. Usually Emily takes care of me but she was completley booked.The minute I sat down with Jamison I knew i was in good hands. They were a pleasure to spend time with and ABSOLUTELY nailed the hair color and blow out. I have curly hair so its always a worry but they did an amazing job. Even mixed the color and showed me multiple times until we felt satisified. Highly reccommend them and Emily. The salon is super clean, everyone is friendly. Love love love this place and how much they truly care and love their craft.

    I’ve gone to Emily for my haircut several times the past couple months and she slays every time. I get a shaggy long layers kind of look and she always listens when I have concerns and makes my hair look the best it’s ever looked. The vibes in the salon are impeccable and totally welcoming. Highly highly recommend scandalous to anyone in the area. I moved out of town and I’m still planning on making trips up for my haircuts.

PERIOD THE END!!!! i’ve been seeing nikki for only a year now and i wish i had found her sooner lol. her and jameson (clowncreative on instagram for those who need to be Put On) are some serious hair wizards who can accomplish more than the mind could even begin to wrap around. seriously! they really get in to the cool, scientific details of your hair transformation and i think that’s really neat. not only is nikki’s chair an absolute safe space, but the entire salon is one of the most warm, safest spaces in orlando and i will never hesitate to recommend a n y o n e to the artists here. got curly hair? naomi is the go to! want braids? mulata got you! sick vivids and creative cuts? emily is your pal! literally everyone here is awesome and i always look forward to my days spent at the salon. 10/10!!!!!

    This was such an awesome experience and Nikki was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and patient while I showed her a bunch of reference photos. She was able to kind of combine all the things I wanted out of a shag/mullet style. As a person with anxiety I was so nervous (I can barely even order food) but she was so reassuring and made me feel completely at ease. Nikki talked me through styling my hair, which was much appreciated since Ive never had any layers before. My hair was just one solid length and she completely brought it to life. Nikki killed it!The salon itself is so cool too! The atmosphere is groovy and I love the quirky furniture. They even have a cotton candy machine. You can tell its somewhere that has a lot of love put into it!

    I have fallen in love with this salon!! every single stylist is super welcoming, inclusive, and sweet! they really listen to what you want and make sure you feel comfortable throughout the whole appointment. one thing i found particularly great was that my stylist, (who is Nia, i highly recommend her!) asked which of my piercings were healed or not so she could be careful with them. i’ve never had ANY stylist ask me that before and that is usually my #1 problem, stylists pulling on my piercing. Nia did an amazing job on my first shag and i’m OBSESSED. i will be recommending this salon to everyone i know! 🥰

    The entire place is soooo cute & I love the groovy theming, they do a variety of services like color, curly hair cuts,and even braiding!! I did my curl cut and partial highlights with Naomi (@_nayology) and she transforms me every time! they even have a cute area with props and accessories so when you’re feeling yourself you can have a photo session when you’re feeling yourself after your service! 🩷 if you haven’t been here yet, go ASAP, I loved it!

    I am not exaggerating when I say this was the best haircut experience I have ever had!!! I have really thick hair and some scalp problems that make me hate getting my hair cut but the environment here was so lovely and welcoming. I never felt judged about my hair unlike all the other times Ive gotten my hair cut and it was such a refreshing experience. I really appreciated Jamison working with me and the reference pics I brought to make my new cut happen. She and the other stylists were so knowledgeable and helpful with all of the questions I had about my new cut and styling it.     I was recommended to check out this salon, specifically Jamison (@clowncreative) from a friend after I went to a different stylist in Orlando that left me with an uneven haircut. I had initially gone in with a specific color blocking idea for vivids, however I noticed Jamison had something truly unique where she was offering “hair flash”. After looking throw what she had, I landed on her Monster High Elissabat inspired look as those were the colors I was already interested in.From the consultation into the day of service, everything was awesome. Jamison took the time to listen to what I wanted for my cut and make any adjustments requested. She was able to save my shag without sacrificing length which was amazing! I’m obsessed with how the coloring came out and already looking forwarded to booking a touch up. Highly recommend Jamison and the Scandalous!!

    This salon is amazing! I love the fact that they do smaller services as well, such as a basic wash & blow out that I received in photo. The staff are so kind and the owner Nikki is amazing. I loved the fact that Nikki was telling me what was going into my service and how it worked, she was not gatekeeping any hair secrets lol and taught me how to recreate it on my own! Of course I will never have the expertise that she has but I appreciate her wanting to connect with her clients. I also had a consultation for dye and cut with Emily, and she gave me tons of hair advice going into my consult after telling her what I needed and what I wanted. She explained how we can plan for the future by doing a less damaging style now and still make it look amazing. I wasn’t completely set on what I wanted either and had 3 different avenues, she gave me an estimate for all 3! I really appreciated her patience and knowledge on how things will appear on my hair and what would be safe to preserve my natural curl pattern. Overall I had a good experience and If you haven’t been to this salon before you should definitely try it out!

    I went in for a curly cut with Naomi and I was surprised with the kindness I received from the very start! Everybody was so welcoming and I felt very comfortable.For any neurodivergent folks, I would 100% recommend this place. Im autistic and I thought I would get sensory overload but Naomi was very understanding and very gentle!! That was the first time I had someone touch my hair and I didnt cry from the sensory which is a very big deal for me 🥹🥹🥹Overall, I had a very positive experience and I look forward to coming in again.

    Best salon haircut experience Ive had in a while! Not only is the decor unique and the vibes super chill, the service is top notch too—Im in love with my new haircut, and they explained every step and the reason for doing it as well as tips for extending the life of my new color! Very playful environment and theyre very accommodating, especially when it comes to getting food for longer appointments lol. Will def be coming back when my hair starts gets faded!

    HUGE shout out to Naomi for bringing my baby’s curls back to life today! We had a bad experience the last time we took her to a salon for a cut and wanted to make sure that the next place we took her was to someone who really knows how to handle her hair and would help us maximize her curls…and we found that in Naomi! She was gracious, welcoming and flat out amazing! scandalous artistry you guys rock. Cool shop filled with such talented, amazing and kind people!!

    A little late but I got both my hair and makeup done at Scandalous Salon for EDC Orlando in November and let me tell you - I have never looked more beautiful in my life 😂 Nikki and Meri absolutely killed it. And I know, festival hair and makeup isn’t for everyone, but I’d go back to this salon ANY day for “regular” hair and/or makeup if I lived in Orlando (heck, if I ever have event where I can fly them out to do hair and/or make up I’d do it in a heartbeat 🥹). These ladies know what they’re doing, the vibe of the salon is unmatched and I just really cannot recommend them more. 100/10.

    Nikki is truly amazing at what she does!I was struggling to find a stylist that would really listen to me. After much consideration I decided I wanted to stop covering my grays and instead work with them, let my natural silver sparkles shine. Several stylists were not very supportive. Enters Nikki! From our first conversation she was very receptive and supportive. Together we came up with a plan. She is always forthcoming on what is possible and cares about the integrity of your hair. If you are looking for a stylist who will take the time to listen to your needs and is also a master of her craft. Then definitely go see Niki! You will not be disappointed!

    Nikki always comes through for me. I travel a lot for work, and she makes time. One time I was out of town and came back early because she only had a moment available in her schedule. I literally flew back just to come see her! She’s the only one I trust with my hair. Lol That’s the type of respect I’ve found here. Honestly I have a relatively simple cut, and even though, I come back every single time cause it’s more than the cut, it the relationship we’ve built through the years. She makes life easy. ❤️
