    As a visitor to Pensacola, my friend recommended Gigis when I said I needed a haircut. The salon is in a great location. The shop is welcoming and attractive. Gigi is a talented artist with enthusiasm and creativity. She actually gave me a makeover when I really only needed a trim. It was a very pleasant experience and I like my new style.

    My husband and I are living full time in our RV and came to Pensacola to ā€œwinterā€. I was in a desperate need of a trim. Although my hair is relatively short and didnā€™t need much of a trim, I was still reluctant to have my hair cut anywhere. I searched YELP & GOOGLE for top Hair Salons.I finally decided on GIGIā€™s despite some of the negative reviews. I called and was able to get a same day appointment. When we arrived, I wasnā€™t too sure about the area as it was tucked away in a neighborhood that looked a little run down.I arrived early hoping to get in earlier. Unfortunately, they were not able to take me earlier so I waited for my appointment time.I didnā€™t realize that GIGI, her daughter, & husband were the only stylists as there 2 other women working within the shop. One of them prepared me for my cut by putting the cape on and began to flat iron my hair as I wasnā€™t getting it washed.I did have to wait more than 15 minutes past my appointment time. I was beginning to get apprehensive and ready to walk out and GIGI came over and introduced herself and asked what I was ā€œhoping forā€. She showed me some pictures and I showed her a few of mine. We both agreed on one that I had.GIGI talked to me throughout the process.I will not facing the mirror made me a little nervous as I couldnā€™t see what was happening. The end result though, I loved it. Wish I would have had a little more of the length taken off but I suppose that can be done the next time as I will definitely go back.Iā€™m very pleased with the overall experience!If youā€™re a snowbird like me or new to the area, give GIGI a chance to cut and style your hair.

    Was looking for a competent, affordable salon for my college daughter since wed now be 8 hours away. Searched around and so happy I found Gigis. They were GREAT! Checked all the boxes: professional and caring staff, very nice, showed her current hair in mirror, discussed what to address, and then options. Would definitely recommend to others! Very affordable. Located near Naval Air Station and the famous Flori-bama bar & restaurant on the beach.

    I brought my mom to get her haircut by Gigi because my mother went to another salon and the stylist chopped her hair. My mother gets a stacked bob cut and not every one can do it. Gigi was shocked when she saw it and told her that she will fix it. We all left Gigiā€™s salon smiling and happy with the work she does. Thank you so much, Gigi!

    We went here because of the reviews and we werenā€™t disappointed. GiGi got us in since we didnā€™t have an appointment and got right to our hair. She did an amazing job as you can see by the before and after of my daughter. Everyone there was amazing helpful friendly and professional.     I found Gigi online while searching for someone with real skill to touch up my highlights and give me a fresh cut. She got me in within a couple days. Everyone there was very friendly and the facilities were clean and comfortable. What Gigi was able to do with my hair was a miracle. I brought in pictures of a cut and color that I was looking for and she knocked it out of the park. I wonā€™t be looking any further for a hair stylist, she is such an artist.     My husband and I just relocated to the area from Quantico and I needed my hair fixed ASAP. You see, I dyed my hair from blonde to a vivid red haha. My hair stylist didnā€™t tell me how long or how much it would cost to change it back. He also didnā€™t tell me how much work and time it would take. Well it starts to fade as colors do over time. I went from this beautiful vivid red to a dark pink and then the top layer of my hair washed out leaving blonde and white streaks .... not pretty ... not beautiful ... not good!! I did my research and prayed about it and came across GiGiā€™s hair and beauty salon. I read everyoneā€™s reviews (thank you all). And I made an appointment. I was hoping that I wouldā€™ve gotten in same day I called on a Tuesday, but GiGi was booked (I know why). So I was fine with my Saturday apt and on call for an earlier apt if one became available. I got a call Thursday which was my husbands birthday and went in.Poor GiGi she didnā€™t know what my hair looked like until I came walking in with the mermaid hair.... she worked so hard for 6 hours on my hair striping, toning, highlights, low lights, etc. the process was long and brutal for both of us ... but this wonderful and whole hearted woman with 21 years of experience touched my soul that day. She is blessed with a beautiful gift from God and uses her talent to help others. GiGi is a wonderful person and an amazing hair stylist. She knows what she is doing, she loves her job, and she didnā€™t just gain a new client but a sister in Christ.Thank you so much GiGi I canā€™t wait to see you in September :) thank you thank you thank you!!!!!I included the vivid red hair color my hair was and the second photo is the hard work, dedicated time, and sweat GiGi did on my hair and I love it.

    I was having a hard time finding a hair dresser that I was happy with and I told my husbands barber this and obviously she told me all about Gi-gi and all of her awesomeness, so we went straight in there as soon as we left from getting his haircut..Yall let tell you she is so gorgeous and just as sweet as can be and is so caring and her passion for her work--- is amazing.     Ive been coming back to Gigis a few times now. I simply cant help it! Not only is Gigi a sweet soul and her mom and other staff are always warm and welcoming, but Gigi is a MAGICIAN with hair! Her salon is always clean and she always keeps a positive and fun vibe going and makes her clients feel like family. Overall best salon Ive ever been to and refuse to go anywhere else!

    This was my fist time at Gigis. As a military spouse, it is sometimes difficult to relocate and find new places that you enjoy going to.     When I called, Gigi is fully booked until October. I explained to her I have an event in 3 days and she was able to squeeze me in. Sheā€™s the only stylist in years who got the side bangs I wanted. I wasnā€™t satisfied with how the color turned out. I was about to call Gigi but she called me first. She asked me if I could come back the next day so i did. And my hair has been fabulous! Other salons do not check on their customers but Gigi did and that shows integrity!     I was in vacation in Pensacola from CT and before heading back home I wanted to do my hair and I went to Gigi when I tell you shes AMAZING shes AMAZING!!! You wont be disappointed she even gave me something to eat because I was there so long but it wasnt her fault the time I was there she was booked and she told me I could take you in between my clients if you dont mind I stood and dont regret it at all .     Highly recommend, more than 5 stars! Praise God!! Not a gossip shop. The establishment is well-maintained, equipment is in good condition, clean and friendly atmosphere.This hairstylist KNOWS her craft and is a quality professional. She listened to me, evaluated my hair condition, outlined the complete process and ensured I was onboard with the plan. Throughout the entire process I was comfortable and informed. When finished, she inquired if I was satisfied with my new style and I felt she genuinely cared. Then she talked with me about after care and how I should maintain my style. Lastly, I was invited to make a return appointment. Yes, I WILL be driving 40+ miles for the excellent hair care she provides.

    Gigis was great!I would definitely recommend Gigis to anyone in the area!I had recently gone to a different salon to get my hair colored and they completely messed up my hair - I ended up with bright orange and yellow highlights (totally gross and unflattering). At Gigis they were able to fix the horrible mess the other salon gave me. I was very impressed that the stylist at Gigis was able to transform my hair from the grotesque orange into a nice caramel brown - which is what I had originally wanted.

    Iā€™ve been wanting to stop by here for a long time now and Iā€™m so happy I finally made an appointment and got the best haircut and style ever ! Brandy is the best cut my hair EXACTLY as I wanted it! Iā€™m a retired hairdresser and Salon owner and was very impressed with all the staff at Gigiā€™s! The moment I walked into the shop I was greeted by the sweetest lady and was made to feel very welcome ! Everyone was very professional and down to Earth! This was the best experience Iā€™ve ever had at a Salon! Great customer service from everyone! I cannot understand the one and only not so nice review from person! She must have been at a different Salon because my experience there was awesome! In fact Iā€™m going back tomorrow so Susan can give me a manicure and Pedicure!     What an amazing experience we had with Marissa and staff at Gigis Hair & Beauty Salon! Marissa communicated well ahead of the appointment, reassuring us with photos of prior updos that she had done, and suggesting what to wear to not mess up the hair when finished. We didnt have to wait, and she did this masterpiece in less than an hour! My daughter is beyond thrilled and cant wait till her dance tonight!

    I am trying to grow my hair out and I always get nervous about going to have my hair done because I am worried they will not listen and cut too much off. I had a full hair color and I had a trim. Mark and Gigi were so wonderful and I got exactly what I wanted. Mark did a great job coloring my hair and then before cutting it they blow dried it so Gigi could tell how my hair is naturally before she cut it. I left feeling well taken care of. Also, they got me in on short notice and got me out in a very reasonable amount of time! Highly recommend this place!

    Always feel welcome here!!!! The staff is very caring and Mrs. Gigi is always in the shop making sure everyone is taken care of!!!! Got Mani, pedi, and a haircut today and left completely satisfied!!!! The store closed at 6pm and the staff stayed till way after to make sure our needs were taken care of!!!!     My first experience at Gigis was amazing. I just moved here to pensecola and know of nowhere to do my hair. I Googled places and decided with Gigi. I was very scared for my thick kinky damaged with split ends hair. But I was hoping for the best because I didnt know what else to do. But let me tell you that as soon as I walked in my mind was put to ease. I knew I was in good hands she gave me the best hair cut I have ever had. She got rid of all those spilt ends and my hair looked great and healthy. She even stayed past closing time to wait wit me for my cab. She is absolutely amazing and so friendly. I Would recommend her to anybody. Plus Im 21, so shes not just for old folks she can Carter to any one of any caliber and of any hair texture!!!
