My salon experience getting a balayage and cut with Aliza was phenomenal to say the least. She is an incredible soul and just as an exceptional stylist. She is so super sweet. Loved meeting with her today. She knows what she’s doing with curly hair and that’s the whole reason, I drove over an hour to come here.Love the color cut, and everything she did today.She was so knowledgeable on curls. Curly hair is a beast to maintain normally but when it’s damaged like mine was, she was very informative. Will definitely be going back and cannot say enough about her.

Wow wow wow!! I am so beyond pleased with this salon, I almost have no words. I had the amazing honor of having Lindsay color my hair. I’m currently visiting Florida from North Carolina and am honestly sad to know she doesn’t work in my home town lol! She was so sweet, funny, gentle, and professional. She has one of the best attitudes and personalities I’ve ever seen. If I could fly back to have her do my hair every time, I would. Lindsay is the very first person at a salon to do my hair perfect. Got the blue hair extensions. I will say they weren’t for me because it was hard to brush my hair and was itchy. Also I have texture issues so I couldn’t handle it when I was home. I did end up pulling them out, slowly. Took a few weeks though. But it was so pretty while it lasted. I’ll stick to my clip ons.Good place to get your hair done. Staff are nice and also offer refreshments. And of course free WiFi.

The salon itself is very clean, and scheduling is very easy and done online and in salon. I love that I was able to reschedule effortlessly when I had a personal inconvenience, and my stylist listened to all of my requests and kept me informed and comfortable throughout the process of what she was doing. Kaylei took very good care of me!!! My roots were overgrown and i had very brassy blonde ends... Kaylei looked at one of my inspo photos and went to work! Not only did she do an amazing job on my hair, but she also let me sneak a nap in while my hair was leveling lol. I absolutely love the customer service she displayed, as well as her talent in hair services!

So I went to get my hair cut and colored on Monday and the stylist was just fabulous! However, for whatever reason my hair either was too porous or rejected the color or some other thing occurred BUT after only two washes, there was a lot of blonde showing back through and I was so upset l. I messaged the salon and the owner Becki was just phenomenal!! She said they would get me right back in and fix it and she explained the chemistry behind not only hair but hair dye! So today I went to get “fixed” and OMG!!!! Emily knocked it out of the park. WOWZA!!!! Seriously look at this color !!! And this young ladies personality is to die for!!! Seriously, just like hanging out with my daughter/bestie!!! We had so much fun and she was just as ecstatic about my hair as I was!!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!

This is a good business and they definitely deserve your business.

Molly had a super rough week and still fit me in as a new client. She is super personable and sweet, works really hard and takes her time. I had straight brass hair from another area stylist and now I have a beautiful highlighted bronde for our first family pictures in years. Wonderful experience (as usual) working with Fawn! She’s been doing my hair for over the past two years, helped me pursue my initial hair color goal switching things up while working in an office environment. Now I’m wanting to have some fun with some fantasy colors, and she really killed it! We touched up my roots, applied a lightener to my ends to help the Orchid color to come through more vibrantly - and sheesh is it vibrant! All the while she was simultaneously working with another client, and knocking out a partial highlight - and tending to us both and making sure we were both comfortable and had what we needed! Molly was the best I had surgery and had a hard time washing my hair, she gave me the best shampoo and conditioner and blowout. It felt amazing then the next week she did a color cut and styled. I just got my haircut by Darrel & couldnt be happier ☺ with it. Ive had horrible cuts since my hair turned gray, but all of it isnt gray. I still have some natural red hair, a lot of gray & white hair & I think they all have different textures. Darrel took his time & was so meticulous parting it to cut it correctly & cut my bangs like Ive always wanted them cut.I highly recommend Darrel 👌 & will be back for him to cut my hair again.The salon is across town from me but Darrel was well worth the drive. 😀

Bennys infectious personality makes your salon experience not only easy but enjoyable. When you’re sitting in his chair he makes you feel like you’re chatting with your bestie! Hannah was AMAZING! I came in as a completely new client and gave her a dramatic change that I wanted to do. She helped me decide what length I wanted for my lob and made sure it was fitting to my facial shape also. We cut about 8 inches off and I never felt nervous about what she was doing. She has a talent for color! Rachel was very honest with me, my hair is dark and I wanted to lighten it to a 9. She told me it would take a couple sessions to get to my desired color without damaging my hair. I just went for a color touch up and my hair is still healthy and looks amazing! My cut is on point, Ii have naturally curly hair. The salon is very clean, uses great products and the vibe amongst the stylists is very relaxing.

Second time seeing Darrell and I left feeling AMAZING just like the last time! Darrell is the only stylist that has really listened to what I wanted. I told him that I wanted my bangs to hit right at the bottom of my chin and layer the rest because Im trying to grow it out. Every other stylist that Ive been to even though I tell them I want my bangs to be at chin length they cut it above my chin and more like above my lip and cutting way too much of the length:-( I was nervous this was going to happen again but I really appreciated that Darrell really heard what I wanted and gave me exactly what I asked for. I’m from out of town and did all the leg work in finding a salon for my daughter for a big make over.First I asked around, then I meticulously read through all the local area salon reviews, weeding out silly things and noting the very important feedback. Deducing the algorithm, I kept coming back to Strut because it rings true with a sense of pride in ownership. I decided this was the place.I texted early in the morning (way before they opened - I get up early 👀) and patiently waited until 9 when they opened, then I called and received a voice mail and in my impatience my heart sunk, I thought I remembered a review about no answer or something to that affect and just as I went to check it out a delightful text came through at 9:15 am letting me know Becki was booked but Alina could take us. After answering ALL my questions we booked a same day appointment.We arrived to this cute shabby chic salon and were greeted attentively by staff & Alina. Not only does Alina have the sweetest disposition and she’s beautiful but the amazing make over - WOW. Becky and her staff are absolutely amazing! I had an emergency on vacation with my extensions and I walked in there and they made room for me. They were extremely empathetic and helpful. I have alopecia and was never able to walk outside with my natural hair. Becky removed my extremely damaged extensions and styled my hair. I walked out with all my natural hair and it was gorgeous! I won’t go anywhere else.

Kaylei did an amazing job! This was my first time going to Kaylei but I immediately felt comfortable with her and already booked an appointment to color my hair next week. She was very knowledgeable about curly hair and the right way to cut it and about hair loss and the right products to use. Kaylei has a great personality. She is very professional but extremely personable too!

I moved here from Chicago 9 months ago, and i am soooo picky about my hair. Nina is the first person i went to to do my hair and i am not switching!! (unless i move) She is very friendly, warm, sassy all in one! I feel super comfortable with her and i trust her completely! She really knows what she’s doing and explains the color process to you so you understand. LOVE MISS NINA!

Rachel, Stevie and Becky all collaborated on my hair color because I couldnt get anyone to do the blue black color I wanted. They were all so nice and welcoming. Rachel did such a great job! Blayr is incredible! She’s patient, kind, and incredibly talented! I’ve been working my way from virgin black hair to bright silver- and she’s been absolutely incredible at getting me there! When I came to her I was a mid/dark level blonde, and in only two sessions she’s gotten most of my head all the way to silver! She’s been flexible, honest, and super consistent! A real perfectionist and a pleasure to work with!
